Swan’s is an old timey pharmacy that has probably been on North Ave forever. Every time I goto this place, I’m greeted with a super nice pharmacist who takes the time to explain things. I love that the place is carpeted — when was the last time you saw a carpeted pharmacy? They do have quite the cigar collection/small humidors but a pretty poor alcohol selection. They do carry a nice selection of gift wraps, office supplies too. Prices are very reasonable.
I think that certainly places like Walgreens and CVS carries more stuff and makes it a little easier to pick up refills, but Swan’s has a certain charm of being one of a kind, old fashioned pharmacy where everyone seems to know you.

SWAN’S IS A LOT LIKE A MULLET. It’s a pharmacy on one half (business) and a place to get beer and cigars on the other (party). Folks who drink, smoke AND have health problems must love the SHIT out of this place!
Located directly north of Alterra. Friendly staff. Locally owned for over 40 years. While they don’t have the selection of a Walgreens (I live thirty steps away from one ironically.) they make up for it in service.
HOURS: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
