Very cheap tour that is short and sweet(but informative) so you can get to your beer samples as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

What a great afternoon! Thank you Parker for a great tour! Seven in a row as a brewery record and your last one before your new job? We’re glad we caught you and on such a high note in your tour career! The brewery was cool, the samples were amazing, and we had great fun! Glad you enjoyed he handshakes! #parkeristhebesttourguideever

The first place my friends took me when we visited in Milwaukee. I’m so glad we went! A tour comes with a few beer samples and unlimited pours of their sodas. After the tour, we could purchase some bar food snacks and help ourselves to the various drinks at the different picnic tables. The beers were good; they had something to suit everyone’s tastes. I really enjoyed the sodas — Ravin’ Red(cranberry and cherry) was my favorite! I’m not a root beer fan, but you gotta at least try it; it’s a local favorite. Definitely a worthwhile visit.

The tour is worth stopping here for, you get a good amount of samplings from the surprisingly wide array of beers they brew. I had no idea how many they made until taking the tour.

We had their root beer soda the last time we were in WI and this time we took the tour as part of our vacation fun. Everyone at the brewery was fun and friendly. We got to learn more about the brewery and how they support other local businesses. That definitely increases my like for Sprecher’s products as a whole. Their beers and sodas are tasty and you walk away with a commemorative tasting glass. We plan to put ours on our mantle. If you’re in town, take the tour and try their beverages!

This was an interesting venture. My husband has ALWAYS wanted to do this. You are given a cute little small broscillate glass when you enter the tour area and are given a choice or beer or a strawberry soda. Then can shop while you wait for the tour to begin. Lots of good info is given which… if you love this brand is all the more interesting. At the end of the tour you can taste test everything — I think 4 beers(we don’t drink so no alcohol but the choices were MANY!) We tried several sodas. It was an interesting and well worth the money tour of the plant where ALL the Sprecters in the world are manufactured. it’s really a small operation so it’s an amazing production plant and brewery. Very momnpop despite their growing popularity. A must do in Milwaukee!!!

A brewery tour with options for those who don’t drink beer? Awesome! Along side of excellent and varied options such as Special Amber and Black Bavarian, you can also find extremely tasty flavored malt beverages like Hard Apple Pie and Hard Root Beer. The kids will also enjoy their wide array of fruit sodas. The tour itself is brief but informative. Your $ 5 admission buys an 8 oz souvenir glass and 4 – 5 alcoholic refills of said glass plus unlimited soda refills. Absolutely a great value. Also, if you stop by, I hope your tour is led by Austin, who, along with being very knowledgable is also a lot of fun.

Parker was an amazing tour guide. My family and I are Milwaukee born but Military members so we don’t get that much time to enjoy our hometown unless we are on vacation. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our hometown with my kids. Make more XII

Not all kids are kid-sized. Thank you, Sprecher, for having a ladies’ sized t-shirt with the business name printed small(gray with BIG dragon). Kids can’t wear beer logo shirts to school but I think this one will pass dress-code. My pre-teen daughter loves griffins and root beer — win win. The tour is entertaining with very light adult humor, nothing overt. The tour guide/bartender was great! Everyone was chanting his name at the end of the tour, PAR-KERPAR-KERPAR-KER! You would sell more beer if you made a private label with his face on it. It would sell three times more than all of your other varieties combined. Well, maybe not three times but I’d buy it… and Parker would probably buy it… so that’s at least two bottles. It’s worth a try. #ParkerForPresident

I am shocked that I have been in Milwaukee for three years now and this past weekend was my first visit to Sprecher. It certainly won’t be my last. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and all the pun-y jokes that went along with it. Especially appreciated that the tour was fairly short– quickly got our group to the important part, which was the samples at the end. Their indoor beer garden was such a treat, especially with the winter weather. Fun place to bring our guests this weekend and got to try a handful of beers that I had not tried previously(citra bomb, anyone?) and a couple of the classics(black Bavarian!!). Definitely worth a visit and don’t be surprised if you end up leaving with some of the goods. We took home two filled growlers and a six pack of the root beer.

I absolutely loved this to her! First off it’s family-friendly but very nice for the adults! When we first got there my daughter was given a sticker and a cup which of course she loved! The gift shop is awesome! I love the spot where we get to eat and drink our samples of beer and unlimited soda. The bathrooms were very nice decorated and clean and at least the women’s bathroom has a changing table… Huge plus in my book! The tour guide was very nice along with the other bartenders! They played good music the décor is nice and everything was really good I will definitely be back! It’s five dollars to get in you get four samples of beer and you get to keep your glass… And if I’m not mistaken you can pay if you like more. The gift shop is really nice lots of clothes food things to drink. I just wanted to get out of the house with my kid and this was just absolutely perfect! They also sell food where you can get your samples… Pretzels, cheese curds, beef sticks, chips among other things.

First off, I have to say that I am a big fan of Sprecher, both their beers and their sodas. We recently had a free Saturday, and with nothing better to do on a cold, rainy and snowy day we decided to head to Milwaukee and do the tour. Overall, I thought the tour was subpar, but the tasting room was great. The tour itself is very short, and pretty short on information. This is fine if you have done brewery tours before or know about the process but if you don’t know much about brewing don’t expect to be enlightened. Our tour guide kept saying that he was keeping it short so that we could all get on with the best part of the tour-the tasting, but I think the guy just didn’t want to talk too much, and never bothered to ask if anyone had any questions about the process. On the other hand, the tasting room is great! For $ 5 you get the tour, a keepsake glass and 4 tastings, each a generous 4 – 6 oz. pour. You also get unlimited samples of the sodas they have on tap. The sodas are included in the kids price of $ 3 also. The«beer garden» is spacious, with a lot of seating and you’re welcome to stay as long as you like, which may be a while if you want to get all 4 of your samples as the line for samples can get long. That’s okay though as you definitely won’t mind hanging out there. This is a tour that you should definitely do, if you find yourself in the Milwaukee area, but I don’t think I’d make a special trip just to experience the tour.

This is how a brewery should be. The tour was brief, the tasting room hangout long. Generally people who take these tours already know the gist of how to brew a beer; they’re looking for a little history, maybe a silly anecdote, something that sets this place apart, and then some quality drinkin’ time. While the tour here wasn’t great(although that’s mostly a product of our bland guide), it hit all those check marks and then knocked us out with a great tasting. You can just sit and taste their beers for as long as you want(and have tickets for). The kid’s tasting comes with unlimited sodas for $ 4(don’t worry, they’re all caffeine free). The beers are all outstanding. Nearly all of them conform to the German Purity Law, meaning you’ll be drinking high-quality stuff that is crafted with extreme diligence. It shows — these are some of the best I’ve had. There’s a lot you can do with barley, hops, water, and yeast — and Sprecher is great at it. Go here — totally worth your time and money.

If you’ve toured one craft brewery, you’ve toured them all, right? Fine, snootypants, take that attitude and don’t bother visiting Sprecher then. Just means more for me! More of what, you ask? Not just a few sips of tasty beer, but an entire 10-course tasting of their excellent beers paired with local Wisconsin cheeses. Yup, Sprecher offers two different brewery tours, one that just ends with a few samples, but spring for the $ 20 «reserve tasting» and you get led into a private room with the aforementioned ten beers and cheeses. It’s such a cool experience, tasting something light and fruity like a kriek or dark and roasty like a coffee stout and seeing what kind of cheese mates well with each. On top of that, afterwards you can still go get some samples of their sodas, which are just as good as the beers. And you get to keep your little tasting glass! Members of an older generation might associate Milwaukee with some pretty crap beers, but one visit to Sprecher will dispel any notion that this city only puts out weak swill. At Sprecher out-of-towners like me can get a taste of the highlights of Wisconsin culture, in the form of beer and cheese, what could be better?

Oh Sprecher, how I love you! A few times a year we take the trek up to Milwaukee for the brewery tour. I think it is $ 5 per adult and $ 4 per minor for the tour. You get a 45 minute lesson about Sprecher and beer… then you get to taste the beers and soda. I think you get to sample 4 beers and as much soda as your bladder allows. You also get to keep your tasting glass! I love that you can also buy food to eat while you are tasting. Pretzels, sausage, cheese curds, pizza, and popcorn. Thank you! You can purchase growlers of your favorite beer or you can purchase beer or soda bottles in the shop. Love it. It also makes me happy that they have a gluten free beer… otherwise I would be limited to soda. Throughout the year they have special events and other fun stuff. For Easter, you can get your picture with the bunny at the brewery and then purchase bottles of root beer with the photo on it. SOCUTE!

So yummy that I’m going to ask to have it ordered for me for Christmas(and I live in boston). What fun! My hubby, sister in law and her boyfriend all came here for a brewery tour. At 11:30am there was a rockband and everyone was already drinking away. As the designated pregnant lady I got to try every single soda and fell in love with their root beer. I can’t wait to receive it for Christmas and order hubby some of their famous brew. Delicious!

Likes: –Regarding the tour, it was very interesting to see how their beer is made. At the end of the tour, you get to try 4 cups of beer and an unlimited amount of their soda. I really liked their cider beers, such as the hard root beer. Also, their sodas were good! –Regarding the souvenirs, you receive a glass at the end of the tour. Also, I bought their root beer popcorn at the gift shop and it was delicious… truly tasted like root beer! Recommend: –Yes!

LOVEDTHISBREWERY. This was my first time ever checking out a brewery and my friends and I decided to go to this one since it offered not only beer, but ROOTBEER. We placed our tickets online that morning for a 3PM touring on a random Saturday. It is $ 5/person and you get to keep your glass after you’re done and you get to sample 4 beers and unlimited soda! We arrived about 15 minutes before and get to enjoy a glass of beer/root beer of our choice while we waited for the tour to begin. Since it was a Saturday, the assembly line of the brewery was shut down so we didn’t get to see the entire place in action. The tour itself was about 15 minutes and the tour guide just gave a short history of the brewery and whatnot. The best part came after the tour, when we got sample all the beer. The glass is small but after 3 beers, all our bellies were pretty full. It was a great experience to enjoy their beer while socializing with my friends. We all had a great time. This is a pretty family friendly environment, too, since they serve soda so you can bring your kids to get sugar wasted while you get… wasted!

Awesome little brewery! This tour is cool… Love seeing the bottling process. We had a work function here — we had access to all their beers and sodas on tab. Loved it! It’s exactly what I would have expected inside — small, kinda cheesy décor, but charming none the less. Would definitely go back for another tour.

I didn’t know what to expect from a microbrewery tour, but Sprecher certainly exceeded my expectations on all counts. It’s a lovely facility, with a staff that is obviously in love with what they do. Entry and exit is through a fair-sized shop that sells beers, sodas and gift items. For the bargain sum of $ 5 you receive a tour of the productions facility, from mashing to bottling. Then, in the indoor beer garden, you are invited to taste as many of their sodas as you like, and four beers. There are about ten choices of each. The pours are generous, and you even get to keep the glass. The company was started in 1984 with two beers, but the introduction of root beer a decade later hit big. We learned that their soda assortment actually outsells their beer, and that their root beer outsells all their other products combined. Our favorite soda was the orange dream, and out favorite beer was one of their originals, the Black Bavarian. We bought some of each to take home. This was a great way to spend a couple of hours, and I’m looking forward to returning.
