My friend has been going here for years and she recommended I go. They have a big sign out front that happily states«Walk ins welcome». I walked in, was greeted, and was told to sign in. The woman at the front counter said someone would be with me shortly. She never ask what kind of service I was going to need, which wasn’t much, a trim at most. After about fifteen minutes of waiting, another woman walked in and it was obvious she didn’t have an appointment either. She said hi to someone who was working there(helps to know people) and asked if he could«squeeze her in». He said he was booked but someone else(the woman who greeted me and told me itd be a short wait) could take her in fifteen minutes if she came back. Fifteen minutes later she comes back, and asks if she needed to sign in. She was«No, they know you’re coming right?» She was taken back immediately. Ten minutes after that(40 minutes Id been waiting total now) a hair stylist came up to the front and looked at the list, which my name was on, said something to the guy up front, and he replied«so you can’t take her?» And pointed at me. She said she had another person coming in in a HALFANHOUR and couldn’t risk being late for that person. By this time of had enough, I walked up to the counter and crossed my name off. I’ve never gone somewhere with money in my hand, and have people fight over who was going to take it from me. If they’re too busy to take walk-ins, then tell me that when I walk in. Don’t waste my time and make me feel like a nuisance.

The staff is friendly and professional. Bruce DeCarlo has been cutting my hair for 20 years there. If your military or prior looking for that style of cut he’s the man to go to.

I stopped here for my traditional start of the semester haircut. I had no appointment, but I was quickly given a walk in. Usually I let the expert decide what they want to do with my hair, but this time I had a specific request and my stylist did a great job of accommodating me. I took her card but since have misplaced it. Hopefully I can find it before my next haircut. Mr. Dino’s is very wheelchair accessible.
