You get what you pay for– Friendly service. Delivery was fast. Ordered orange chicken and the lunch size was huge. I could have made 3 meals out of it. However, I wasn’t very fond of it. Tons of grease, tons of sugar and the fried rice tasted bland. The chicken was dark meat which I don’t care for. But for a cheap lunch it’s a pretty good deal.

Good sushi rolls, however pricey for the size of the rolls, especially the speciality rolls.

Multiple hairs found in my fried rice in my combo delivery meal, and was wrong color to even be close to being my hair accidentally ‘falling in’. Enough said.

Pleasantly surprised! I have walked by this little restaurant for many years and never given it a second thought because my main Chinese restaurant is on Brady but I decided today I would try something different. The orange chicken is the best I have ever had! Simply phenomenal. No fake orange true Rio oranges used. The pork fried rice I also sampled was extremely delicious for people who are meat eaters you will love the amount of pork they put in their fried rice. The staff was Genia wine Lee sweet and helpful. I definitely will return here over and over. The cost was substantially lower than my usual Chinese restaurant. For two entrées, dinner portions, I paid $ 17. Definitely a good value I would not rate this as two dollar signs simply 01 would be correct.

Driving up to Milwaukee and stopped by here. I ordered a plate of Sichuan Chicken and it was good.

Had high hopes, they were quickly dashed. With a few Sushi rolls to start found the quality to be about the same as some of the better supermarket prepackaged stuff, or in other words, edible but far from good. Meanwhile the prices per roll rival some of the best sushi places I’ve had the pleasure to dine in. On the Chinese side tried several staples all of which were found lacking. Insipid hot and sour soup that was barely hot or sour. Gen Tsao’s Chicken that was sickly sweet without a hint of heat, a particularly disappointing rendition of Ma Po’s tofu(when done well a personal fave) and most notably the Orange beef a supposed specialty that was so gloppy and sweet that even if the beef hadn’t been fried to the point that it was like chewing on wood would still have been nearly inedible. Usually gives places a few tries in case it was just a bad night see no reason to do so here.

Great food and delivery drivers… Terrible service on the phone… Copied address, phone number and delivery instruments wrong. The poor delivery driver was waiting outside the wrong address for 15 minutes. Long story short, terrible customer service on the phone. I may never order from there again after this incident.

Slowest lunchtime delivery ever. I was barely more than a mile away and it took more than an hour for delivery. That plus the fact that the styrofoam holding my kung pao was leaky and ripped, making it a huge mess. I will not be ordering from here again.

I decided to make a Unilocal account just to give this place a five star review. Every single time I go in or order out, the food is perfect and the service is impeccable. I live not a 2 minute walk from Chopstix and still prefer to order from Lucky Lius because they know how to prepare quality, delicious meals. This, combined with their loving customer service, makes them my absolute favorite place for Chinese food in Milwaukee. One of the last times I went in, I mentioned to the cashier how much I love their crab rangoon. As a result, she added 2 extra to my order. It was the sweetest act of kindness and made me feel appreciated as their customer. Honestly, 5 stars is not enough for them.

This is my first choice of Chinese restaurants in Milwaukee. I love that you can order sushi, Japanese, and Chinese food.

I ordered sesame chicken and egg foo young last night as takeout. Food was terrible. Rice tasted like it was burnt, and I threw out the sesame chicken. I’m not sure how you can mess up so terribly on a stable Chinese food.

The rating above is for Sushi only. I ordered some sushi(nigri/sashimi) from LL and was so very disappointed in the quality of the fish. This was my second time trying the Sushi from LL, only because the first time I was disappointed in the portion/cost ratio. Favor and value are poor compared to the rest of the menu. Stick with the Chinese entrees and be much happier.

My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time last week. The General Tso’s Chicken and Beef Lo Mein were delicious and we had enough for leftovers later that night! We have recently been having trouble with bland Chinese food, but Lucky Liu’s was very tasty. Can’t really say much about the Japanese dishes but if you are planning to get Chinese food it is ~$ 20 for two people which is reasonable.

Chines food is much better than Japanese at Licky Liu’s from what I had a chance to try so far. All Chines dishes I have tried have been good. I would not suggest trying the volcano role, instead of actual scallops it has«scallop mayo» . Chine food 4 stars Japanese food 2 starts They have fast delivery and option for pick up. Also take orders online.

I’ve tried this place a couple of times and I just can’t get into it. It has some pretty solid things going for it like online ordering, quick delivery, sushi delivery, and large portions. The real big con for me though is that it just doesn’t really taste that good. I had the sweet and sour chicken and found it to be pretty salty. The sauce was pretty bland also. The sushi is decent though.

They have the best orange chicken ever. It’s sweet and delicious and a must-buy. They’re also a lot faster than chopstix, with much nicer delivery people.

When someone is at my apartment and they want Chinese, I recommend Lucky Liu’s. It is hands-down the best option. The restaurant is clean, the service is prompt, and they’re willing to adjust dishes and ingredients at request. I’ve eaten in and ordered delivery. Lucky Liu’s is my primary choice for«Chinese» food(I typically don’t get the more authentic dishes they offer). The delivery is usually insanely quick(estimated times tend to be 45 – 60 minutes, but they usually catch me off guard being 10 – 15 minutes early), and the food is still quite hot when it gets to me. Their prices are fair and their combo plates/platters are a good deal. I personally think Lucky Liu’s is the best Chinese in the area. I’ve also had their sushi, but only a few times. They are technically a fusion restaurant(China/Japan), and their sushi has been excellent when I ordered it. Lucky Liu’s is easy to order from(online ordering is surprisingly intuitive), they have an expansive menu(like any other Chinese place, but with additional Japanese dishes), delivery is very prompt, the prices are fair, and they’ve been very consistent.

I’ve been there 7 – 8 times in the last year both for Sushi and Chinese. The Chinese I’ve tasted was solid. The Sushi was very good to good depending on the visit but trending down rather than up. I love their eel avocado roll but on my most recent visit had an Alaskan roll. the Salmon was a bit brown and not very fresh. Their crab rangoon is better than most. Oddly the last 4 times I’ve been here they have been empty and on todays visit they had a very bad smell(like sewer gas or something really rotten) in the restaurant that I would have left if I wasn’t ordering take out and could wait outside. Pointed it out but they didn’t smell it when I asked them about it. Will give them another try and may rerate.

This review is based on my only visit so far. The menu is fusion of Chinese and Japanese, but Sushi makes up about 97% of the Japanese menu items. I started with Sunomono, a Japanese Sushi appetizer of sashimi pieces including crab meat, shrimp, saba and tako(octopus). They are served with a ponzu sauce. I wasn’t wowed by any of it and in factm the saba had too much of a fishy taste to it. I had higher expectations for my entrée. I went back to the Chinese side for this with a dish that I love to order, Cantonese Chow Fun with beef, which Lucky Liu’s refers to as Beef Ho Fun on their menu. It is a dish of tender beef slices mixed into a pile of wide flat rice noodles and veggies. The sauce and flavor of the noodles is what make this dish for me moreso than the beef. I liked the texture of the noodles, but I thought they lacked in flavor. The beef was tender and flavorful. The sauce overall was ok, but again, it didn’t wow me. I plan to return some day to try a different Chinese entrée that is usually prepared well at other Chinese restaurants and I’ll try a maki roll or two. Hopefully this was just an off night. There was only one other diner in the restaurant and there was a problem with him getting his order placed. He knew what he wanted, but it wasn’t on the menu and Lucky Liu’s seemed unable to accomodate. He wanted an Unagi Roll. Unagi(freshwater eel) is on the sushi menu. There is also an Eel Roll on the menu. The problem is that the Eel Roll is actually a cucumber or avocado roll topped with Unagi sauce. He wanted Unagi on the inside of the roll. The server had a difficult time explaining this to him, as did he have a difficult time understanding why she was politely and apologetically debating his request. I left before his order came out. I felt bad for the customer. It probably wasn’t going to end well for him.
