Great location. Parking is limited.

Service was lacking… (the guy who suggested the place waited 8 minutes at the bar and was never noticed). I went up to the bar and interrupted the conversation to get a 2nd drink. Majority of group was angry with service.

In town for the day. Hybrid Lounge was recommended by a friend. Such a great place. Have Nate make you a special Pear Martini — you won’t be disappointed.

Hybrid has great food– 99% of the time. Their burgers are AWESOME, their Pesto Chicken Pizza fantastic. But they seem to be skimping sometimes– the new «bacon» is too thick, more like Canadian bacon, isn’t crispy and can’t really done properly. And charging 50 cents for a little mayo or BBQ sauce on the side makes the place look cheap. (Meanwhile every Tom Dick and Harry who walks in asks and the bartenders plug in and charge their cell phones for free!) Go back to regular bacon please, and don’t charge for basic condiments.

Yay, gay bar!
Coming from all the gayness in Seattle, this was a nice find. The bartenders were super nice and were fun to chat with. But the layout and space is a little weird? It’s not quite big enough, but not quite small enough but that weird medium space which is then divided into two spaces.
This stop was towards the end of the night so I don’t remember too much but I do remember everyone going to get pizza across the street. That wasn’t as great of an idea as Hybrid was.
Anyways, I’ll have to come back but so far so good!

So, thanks Unilocal for telling me this was a gay bar after I had sat down. Kind of funny in a way… but usually you see a rainbow flag or something as a heads up. Not that it was a problem… at all. All we needed was a place to get a drink and some warmth before a show at the Comedy Café, and this hit the spot. A good drink menu, friendly bartenders, and football on tv… it hit the spot.

The location is great and the bar has a great selection of flavored vodkas, and I’ve always had good service here. We went here after my graduation dinner at Buca’s with a group of about ten people on a Friday night, and it was so loud we couldn’t even hear the people next to us so we only stayed for one drink. I would prefer it if it was more of a neighborhood, corner bar and less of a club. I definitely like it on the quieter nights. My friends and I stopped here for a drink before an election night party, and that was more my style since it was quieter and less crowded.

I might never try any place new were it not for outta town guests…
So anyhow, this is a gay bar with what appeared to be a sprinkling of straights in the crowd for good measure. The bar area was clean and modern lookin. There was an adjacent second bar and room that were closed while we were there.
They had a nice selection of liquors, esp flavored rums, vodkas, etc but no campari (boo!)
Nice place though. Jovial and mixed crowd. TVs were going and honestly I can’t remember the music. Bartender was nice and offered drink selections. If ur gay or open-​minded and out for the night on Brady/​van buren this is a good place to stop in to.

Love this place. Seriously. So needed on Brady St. Apparently the name Hybrid comes from the fact that there are two guys that own the bar, one gay and one straight. I love the vibe in here. Everyone is super friendly, albeit sometimes a little wasted, and willing to shake their grove thing.
The DJ was great and taking requests, which we LOVED. Hello Janet Jackson? Mariah? Ke$ha? Brittney? CHECK!!!
We were looking to let loose and dance and this place fit the bill. The scene does feel like a gay bar, a really really fun gay bar :-)

I’ve been on a search for the best bloody in Milwaukee and this was one of the best! It was a Saturday afternoon, nice bartender, friendly patrons.

This was my first trip to Milwaukee, and while I didn’t have the time to check out the gay scene or other gay bars, this bar was clean, friendly and it’s patrons smart and sexy for the most part. Especially the bartenders. I live in Los Angeles and it can get very «sceney,» but I felt very at home in this bar. I’ll be back! :)

Stopped in after our volleyball game, so I’m not sure I got the full picture of what Hybrid is about not being a Friday/​Saturday night.
Finally, another nice bar not in Walker’s Point! I like the clean, smoke free atmosphere of Hybrid. Drinks prices were resonable and service was a little slow, but it was a Sunday night and only 1 bartender was working, so I understood.
I hope to stop back again!
