Bartenders were rude and vet unwelcoming. Couldn’t get a smile out of them. I heard one was dating the owner. Bad business in my opinion. No reason to ever go back.

Everyone from the owner, bartenders and patrons, are all the nicest. This is like your Cheers bar where everyone knows your name. Not too mention play some fun sand volleyball. If you don’t want to play Volleyball and it is out of season you either play regular bar dice or Fat Daddy’s bar dice, which is a interesting twist. Either you, you can get pretty drunk doing shots or buying cheap beer. I have been becoming back for about a year now. What makes it ever better the beer and drink prices won’t break you bank.

A sign of a great bartender is one who makes everyone feel welcomed, especially those patrons that are not regulars. When I came here to get a drink and a shuttle ride to the Brewer game, the bartender basically ignored me while she talked to all of her friends/regulars. I definitely felt outside the«clique» and I feel that’s a terrible service. The bartender also kept telling me the shuttle was on its way but in reality it wasn’t. Driver decided to take their only shuttle out to the suburbs to pick up some people and leave everyone else waiting and waiting at the bar. It was very upsetting. I won’t take the shuttle from here anymore to the game and even though I’m not the biggest Stenys fan — I’d rather go there for a drink and a ride and give them the tips as they probably wouldn’t pull a stunt like Fat Daddy’s!

My favorite sports bar in MKE hands down. They have a different drink special each night, and the wait staff make you feel at home with politeness to newcomers and sarcasm to the regulars. 3 sand volleyball courts for all skill levels and competent and fun refs make this a fun time for those who like bar league sports. Ownership also does plenty of outside activities– trips to breweries, game and trivia night, dart and video bowling leagues, and a great advantage– they have a bus to sporting and music events, which is also rentable for private functions. The bar has also seen an upgrade recently with new floors and walls. If you want to get your drink on at an eclectic place, go to Fat Daddy’s!

You come here to do two things: play volleyball and get really drunk. And pretty soon it’ll be too cold for volleyball so we’re just going to have to get really drunk.

I have a good time every time I come to Fat Daddy’s. I feel like I’m usually here for«special occasions» such as Hallowang(that’s Halloween in April!), New Years Day — and you get to ride the Fat Daddy’s Mobile to the lakefront for the polar plunge(which they sadly didn’t run this past year but it may have been due to the frigid temps), and I recently stopped by randomly as I had dinner at the establishment next door. Drink prices are typical and reasonable. The sand volleyball courts look pretty awesome, though I have never been here during volleyball. Other patrons are generally pretty cool and it’s far from a pretentious establishment… it’s nicer than what you would think of a «dive» but it is rather divey in the best sense of the term: good drinks, good people, jukebox, not too fancy. There is a decent amount of seating — I always have been able to get a table or seats at the bar. Fingers crossed we have a mild and late — extremely late and extremely short — winter so they have the Polar Plunge shuttle and party again next year!

Typical Milwaukee bar. Average priced beers, usually some pretty decent specials. Best thing about it is their sand volleyball courts. They offer leagues 4 nights a week, in all skill levels.

Fat Daddy’s has a lot of character and nice volleyball courts. That’s why I like it. They also carry this cider that I like but can never remember the name of.

When the occasional woman actually makes it in this dump, she’s usually pretty trashy. The guys that hang out there are dipshits. If it wasn’t for the volleyball courts, this place would have been torn down ages ago.

Milwaukee at it’s finest. Good staff, fun crowd, great jukebox and 5 out door volleyball courts make this a nice local secret. Hop in a game of bar dice, hopefully the bar ends up buying your shot. Ask for a High Life or for the bartender to surprise you, you won’t be disappointed.
