I love Tanya. I popped in there one day to make an appointment for a manicure while waiting to buy tickets for the film festival.
She has a great gel product with shiny, bright colors. She is chatty and pleasant! I love her Russian accent! It’s adorable! she is a perfectionist-​which is needed in that industry!
They also do pedicures. Their chairs are awesome and even have leg props so you don’t have to hold your feet up!!! It’s amazing!
The salon is immaculately clean and doesn’t smell like acrylic nails or yucky hair products. All of the employees are awesome and really get to know you.
Once– I had a gel not take– I think i didn’t put my hand in the uv oven long enough… She fixed it for free! :) super service!!!

I called this morning to make an appointment for a hair trim. I have never been to this salon prior to my making an appointment today. I asked the woman I was speaking with the cost of the trim and was told a high enough number that I did not want to pay that amount for my trim. I said «oh, wow. I am not willing to pay that for a trim on my short hair» I was then told in a not so nice tone that any other salon on Silver Spring will charge this amount as well. I again told the woman «I would not pay that much for a trim anywhere» She then said «Well, then you might want to go to cost cutters» and then she hung up on me. I was shocked at the tone and the fact that I was hung up on.
I called back to tell her that I work on the same street as her and would not like to give a bad review for the lack of customer service. She says «I can see where you work and I don’t dispute your prices at your store» She continued to yell and berate me until I finally decided I am not going to argue with her any longer.
I basically just didn’t like the fact she tried to make me feel bad and took a dig at me.
You see, I simply said I was not willing to pay that amount for a trim and would like to please cancel my appointment. I wanted to give this place a chance because I have heard they give great cuts and trims. Unfortunately, I am a person with feelings and should not have been humiliated and hung up on for simply saying that i would not pay that amount for a hair trim.
Maybe that woman should be removed from answering the phones.

The best place to be pampered on wonderful Silver Spring Drive in Whitefish Bay. Ella and Tanya are fantastic! You will leave feeling beautiful (and looking beautiful too).
