Just what an antique shop should be — packed to the ceiling with STUFF! Vintage clothing, light fixtures, glassware and more. There is variety of eclectic materials here, most of which is of little interest to me but then, maybe people don’t really give a rip about what I like. So it goes. There is a great deal of vintage clothing here, probably 25% of the floor space and it is one of the larger collections of vintage clothing I’ve seen in awhile. One area has more cowboy boots than a dude ranch bunkhouse. For me, the biggest drawback is the long climb up a wide flight of stairs. So it goes in a landmark building, it is what it is.

It’s a really peculiar tight space in an interesting historic building. I was actually here to pick up a restored Polaroid instant camera made by the Retrospekt company(go their website for the coolest gifts ever), the factory is upstairs. It’s not really open to the public, special arrangements were afforded to me because they were slightly behind schedule on shipping and I happen to live a couple blocks away. The Antique store is cramped and tight and yet oh so fascinating. The hours are a little irregular and peculiar, you might want to check first. Parking is easy on the east side of the street, don’t make the mistake I made by thinking you can safely walk across 1st Ave parking on the west side of the street, that turned out to be almost suicidal.

Good, but not amazing. Visited here when some family was in from out of town. The first two floors(basement and first level) are bookstores. The second level is packed chock full of antiques. Although I didn’t see anything stellar of the ‘usual’ antique variety(e.g., housewares, etc.), I had a great time looking through the vintage clothing selection. I bought an adorable 50s-style purse($ 27 in excellent shape) and I certainly could have loaded up on much more. One note: watch your footing on the west side of the building. You can feel the floor sloping downward. Wooooaaahhhhh!

I love this place! This is a mall that you can walk around in for a long time and there is so much to look at. The prices in here vary from dealer to dealer, but I have found some wonderful items and paid a great price for them. This time around, I found some very rare dishes that I didn’t even know I wanted to collect! LOL I search this mall out every time we come to town. LOVELOVELOVE

This particular«antique center» has been around forever! Currently, the basement space is vacant, the first floor houses an outpost of Downtown Books and only the second floor has antiques. If you’re into vintage clothing or glass/pottery, you’re going to love this shop. If you aren’t, well — they’ve got nothing for you. This location has a particularly good selection of vintage for men, including a ton of shoes and cowboy boots. There’s a good selection of accessories and everything is neatly organized and in very good condition. FYI — it’s the top floor of an old(pre-AC) building, so be prepared to sweat it out if you visit in summer.

This place is pretty darn cool and has a lot of knickknacks and good clothes in good condition and reasonably priced. I went here for old-timey clothes for a steampunk ball.
