When I was in high school in Middlebury, Zachary’s was the first pizza place to open in town. Given this, it was extremely popular and was pretty much considered the best thing ever at the time. Now I know better, but I still have a soft spot for Zachary’s and it’s what I order when I visit my mom in Milton. Same flavor/ingredients as way back when. I’m sure a lot of people probably don’t think it’s that good but I enjoy it when in the area.

Since moving to Milton just over two years ago, Zachary’s is by far the best pizza outside of Burlington. I have only gotten pizza and salad from here, but both are great — and I only do take out(lots of people are always eating inside though). Don’t forget your coupon!

Multiple times this pizza place has failed misserably. The staff doesn’t care and cannot get the order right, Brett was the manager and didn’t care. Waited over and hour and the order was wrong. Brett had no concern and didn’t have any care of what we had. So we had cold food waiting for items they could not get right the first time. I would recommend dominos over them, which I dislike just as much as them. Would be nice if a good pizza restaraunt like Ramuntos would open up. NEVERZACHARY’S

Nothing fancy but an average pizza place. The restaurant is located at the end of a small plaza which houses a grocery store, a hardware store, a drug store, and a nail salon. Service is alright but it’s not the best pizza for sure, unless you enjoy eating cardboard.

The are more types of pizza out there than you can shake a stick at, so trusting reviews for a pizza place is difficult to do. I know several people who have mixed reviews of pizza places just because they like one style of pizza more than another. That said, Zachary’s pizza is pretty good. Is it the best I’ve ever had? No. But for the little town of Milton, it’s pretty much the only alternative. We have a Domino’s, but of course, opinions differ wildly on their pizza too. What I would suggest if you go to Zachary’s is a calzone… they are the size of their small pizza, folded over, so in reality it is more than one person should eat at a sitting(although that doesn’t stop me). They are nicely cooked with a somewhat crispy crust(but not TOO crispy), and the edges where the dough is pinched together is typically fairly light and airy… not all dense like you are eating clay. Their sauce is pretty good, not gourmet, but good. I would stay away from the Italian dishes though(spaghetti, lasagna). The pasta tends to be overcooked, and not properly drained, so the sauce gets watered down like a bad diner spaghetti. The lasagna, while nicely loaded with cheese and meats, tends to be very mushy due to the overcooked pasta. Service is generally spot on… we’ve never had a problem with waiting for service ofr refills on our sodas and the servers are always friendly.

Zachary’s has become one of my favorite places in Milton to eat. I still haven’t tried Legends or Randy’s snack bar tho(I have some high expectations for both)! The ham salads are very good! The mozzarella cheese on the salad is fresh, piled on and almost like it was hand shredded… who knows tho. I love the cheese. This one of my favorite things to order here. With the ranch dressing they have here, it is one of the best ham salads I have ever had! My SO ordered a calzone with extra cheese and beef. He said that it was one of the best calzones he ever had! In more recent days, they seem to be burning the calzone, the top gets a little burned but its still good. The pizzas are pretty good, bottoms are crispy and its really cheesy with a good sauce that isn’t too sweet or spicy. Sometimes it can be a little too greasy. We got a Large Hawaiian pizza yesterday and I didn’t regret it(when salad is my fave thing to order!). Subs are pretty good, I like they used to get a large ham sub until I discovered the salads. Some of the appetizers seem to be frozen and heated up. They still taste good tho. Just not worth the price tho. Zach’s can be expensive! When the manager works quality is a little better! The service is good and friendly for the most part, once I went and the girl at the counter seemed unhappy/miserable while everyone in the back cooking were very upbeat and friendly. They have some really long term staff that has been working there for 10+ years!

This pizza has no taste, made me bloated, ruined the rest of the night. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there.

The first time we had Zachary’s it was in the restaurant and it was great. We have since ordered from Zachary’s twice for delivery and been disappointed. Zachary’s sends out coupons with the local newspaper, we tried to use them twice and will go to Dominoes from now on. The first time I ordered I had a coupon for $ 3 off a large pizza. I told them about the coupon at the time I ordered and paid for it over the phone with my credit card. I ended up getting charged the $ 3 anyways. Since it was only $ 3 I didn’t bother calling and complaining. The second time we ordered I had a coupon for a $ 13.99 meal. I told them again about the coupon at the time of ordering and paid for it over the phone. When I checked my account there was a charge for $ 23.99. I called that night to straighten it out and was told that a manager would call me back in the next 20 minutes; that never happened. I called again the next day and spoke with the manager on duty. He told me that he wasn’t working the night that I made the order and I would have to call back the next day. I was busy the next day and wasn’t able to make the phone call. We have decided that Zachary’s doesn’t deserve our business. I shouldn’t have to call 3 times to have an issue resolved, especially when it wasn’t my fault in the first place. We gave them a 2nd chance and they still failed to please. Save yourself the trouble and order from Dominoes because they actually honor their coupons.
