Warning. Horrible company. Promised delivery of car in two weeks. Took over six weeks. First, they missed my first appointment to pick up the car and never called me. Picked up the car the next day. That should of been my first clue. I was patient, but after 3 weeks, I called them to ask when my car would be delivered. «Travis» answered and said any day. Several days passed. I called them again. Same story. I called again. Same story. I asked them where my car was. They said they didn’t know. I asked them how they could know when my car would be delivered if they didn’t even know where my car was… no answer. Eventually, Travis just stopped answering his phone and returning my voice messages. In the meantime, I was racking up crazy car rental charges. I called the CA police and the state attorney general to report my car stolen after a month had passed and no word from Jayhawk. Apparently, they don’t have jurisdiction since my car crossed state lines. The Dept of Transportation is the correct agency, but they don’t have any power of enforcement either. Apparently, after you sue them and win, then and only then can the DOT levy a fine. Otherwise, they’re powerless. Finally, after 5 weeks, «Eddie» calls and says my car is ready for delivery. We schedule to meet at 7pm to pick up the car at a Walmart parking lot. I leave work early(I work long shifts) to meet Eddie, but he doesn’t show up and doesn’t call me. I finally get in touch with him at 9pm, and he says he’s sorry, but his truck broke down. We schedule to me at 7pm in 2 days. Same thing. He doesn’t show up and doesn’t call. He gets in touch with me later and says«sorry» his truck broke down again. We schedule to meet in two days at 7pm. Guess what? He doesn’t show up and doesn’t call. He gets in touch with me at 10pm and says«sorry» but his truck broke down again. It’s fixed and he’ll be rolling into Walmart at 5am to meet me. I told him no way. First, I’m not meeting someone I never met in a dark parking lot at 5am to pick up my car. Second, I have to be at work at 6am(like I said, I work long hours), so I don’t have time to meet him at 5am. Anyway, he hangs up on me, and miraculously«Travis» calls me back & leaves me a voicemail. I either pick up my car at 5am at Walmart or they impound my car at my expense until I’m ready to pick it up. Well, my car eventually arrived after 6 weeks, and as promised, it was impounded. I saved $ 100 signing up with Jayhawk, but it cost me over $ 1000 in car rentals, $ 100 in impound fees, countless wasted hours, and most importantly, my sanity. Do yourself a favor. Either drive that car yourself across country, or pay the extra money for a large, reputable company. Jayhawk truly sucks.
