As of 11/22, this location is officially CLOSED. Sad to see them go, they had good food and large portions for a good price. Looks like a new restaurant is going to take over, though when that will happen is uncertain.

I went here with my parents on a saturday night. As the name suggests, they have many noodle dishes but also other options on the menu as well. We were given a menu ordering paper, and just checked off the dishes we wanted. We got a pan-fried noodle with seafood dish, stir-fried rice cake, and tofu & bean noodle soup. The portions were enormous! My parents and I did not finish our orders. The stir fried rice cake dish was slightly salty but the saltiness came from the veggies in the dish, not the rice cake itself. When ordering, I would recommend maybe asking the waiter to possibly make the dishes lighter, with minimal salt and oil, as many Chinese restaurants can be heavy with salt and oil. The prices are very reasonable and it is a casual place to go with parents and family!

The food I ordered tastes a lot like my dad’s cooking… flavorful but so so unnecessarily oily… tonight I ordered the wrong stuff, but I know what to do next time. here’s what to avoid: Don’t get their Kung Pao Chicken noodle soup. My fobby dad says this isn’t a place to order their unique made up dishes. This was beyond oily, but the kung pao flavor was so so delicious. They also didn’t have chicken when i ordered this so i had to have kung pao pork lol. My brother tonight had the pork and preserved veggie noodle. It was very very plain. No flavor. My brother has had the beef noodle soup which he said was way better than tonights dishes. Then my friend said their house special is decent. It tastes like hot and sour soup… so yeah, I definitely ordered the wrong stuff. I dunno. I liked the flavor, but I guess I know to order something else that’s traditional and a usual item. like XLB or something lol.

First time here. Dad was going crazy about their noodles so we decide to give it a try. Upon arrival, the manager seems to just ignore my requests. Twice. However when the food arrived it was final countdown time. Everything was super good, however I don’t remember any of the dishes’ name. I would rate this place a five out of five. However the attitude from the manager and also the fact that he just ignored two of my requests(btw I wasn’t being a douche.) but anyways. Great food. Be prepared to eat a lot!

This restaurant is fairly new and specialize in i believe noodle soups. On the other hand their menu is pretty deep in addition to the noodle soups. The portions here are also very big and price wise was pretty cheap. One thing i noticed though was their menu is in chinese but their to go menu is in english. Not sure if thats because they assumed we were chinese? Food wise we ordered the roasted pork tongue, beef noodle soup, and mala chicken noodle. The roasted pork is served cold, we both liked the sauce they used. As for the beef noodle, we both felt the soup wasn’t too salty and the beef was very tender. As for the mala chicken noodle soup, the chicken is served on the side. The broth they used was good and had a nice aroma and was clean tasting. I liked how they gave you the option of either putting the chicken inside the soup or not to eat. Also even though its mala flavorted it wasn’t too spicy. Overall we were pleased with the service and food. Since their menu is pretty deep we will definitely come back and try their other dishes.

My parents wanted to try out this new restaurant that replaced Village House(I liked Village House better). But anyways, we walked in and the place looked really deserted. I wasn’t sure if it was because it was a bad restaurant or what. There were like 2 other tables with people and that was it. It was Sunday night too so I was just pretty surprised. IFYOUDONOTKNOWANYCHINESEATALL, STAYAWAYFROMTHISRESTAURANT. My mom handed me the menu which is like this long sheet of all these dishes in chinese. No pictures, no english, just chinese. Without my parents, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to order from here. Anyways, we ordered the Beef Noodle Soup which was ok, the Noodle Soup and Egg which was also ok, the cucumber which was pretty good, and the Kung Pao Chicken which was AMAZING. The Kung Pao Chicken was pretty spicy(I’m pretty weak in spices) but it was so good! I just wanted to finish the whole dish but I would’ve killed my taste buds. Our total ended up being a little less than $ 25 and the waiter said that we couldn’t use our credit card unless it was $ 25 or over. My dad said that including the tips, it would be over $ 25 so they let it slide. As I was walking out of the restaurant, I see the sign with the $ 25 minimum if you use your credit card. It was hidden behind a plant. Thanks for the heads up.

There’s a lot of grease where these dishes came from! That didn’t mean it was a solid lunch and I didn’t enjoy it. Located in a cursed lot – aka at least 10 unsuccessful restaurants existed before this – I hope Top Noodle survives and thrives. The dry pork with green onion noodle was tasty. I would’ve loved it if they added twice as much meat but everything about this dish was good. Request for extra meat if you can. The stuffing wheat gluten soup is bland but because I was sick with the flu, the broth was oddly comforting. The wrapped gluten was way too thick for me to enjoy but the meatballs were pleasant. The Shepherd’s purse yellow croaker spring roll is something like a hybrid of a fried Vietnamese egg roll and a spring roll. It has fish in it. It’s wet on the inside, but lovely to eat all around. This makes an excellent appetizer.

The place is plain and there are little to no decorations. There were only 2 waiters who were working the many filled up tables & they spoke very little English. Food was mediocre but huge portions. I found the same noodle base with your meat/vegetable served to you on the side a little odd. First time I had fish in spring rolls, too. Overall, cool place to try but I wouldn’t go back.

pretty average shanghai style place. We ordered a few small dishes, a noodle soup and pot stickers. The peek flavor was very strong and the noodles were made with American bacon which was a little weird. I might be back

Super awsome typical shanghai food. Can’t help love it. I can find everything that I’ve been missing and thinking of for years after I moved here. Every dish maintained the traditional taste in typical Shanghai style. Slight sweet, rich flavor with soysauce. Everybody will love the place for casual dine in or afternoon snack bite. It’s way healthier than fastfood right by the corner and you can fullfill the dream taste that you’ve ever chased. Love the place. Will come again for sure.

This really saddens me when I have to write a less than mediocre review, but unfortunately this establishment fails to that degree. We ordered cold noodles from the menu, but she brought out hot ones and then told us that they were not serving cold noodles. My question – why did she not inform us of this earlier? Instead, our server brought out our hot food and expected us to eat it. Moreover, she did not speak English very well and at the VERYLEAST could not even tell us in English which dish was which. The servers made us a bit uncomfortable too, as I guess the restaurant wasn’t quite busy so they simply watched us eat. My sister took note of the food too, as the Chinese cabbage in our unwanted hot soup still had dirt in it. Quite disappointing, don’t waste your time.

We came in there clueless, it did not like how there aren’t any pictures on the menu! There was this lady worker who was super sweet and helped us order though! The customer service is great! The regular beef noodle soup can feed around 3 – 4 people. The amount of food for the money you pay is great! The noodle itself was god but the broth was full of msg. I personally did not like the beef. It tastes like beef stew+water and noodles. The mini buns were not for me. The filling was coming out and make sure you eat it while it’s still hot!

no longer Village House, it’s Top Noodle House now. not as busy as it’s predecessor. puzzling but now i know why. lack of service no-problem. bad food-big problem. nothing done about-big PR problem. eats: –xlb(8/5.95) first few pieces perfect with lots of juice and tender centers, latter 3 – 4 were raw, undercooked, no juice –shanghai potsticker(8/5.95) very good homemade versions. –braised beef noodle soup(6.95) noodles still raw, chucks of beef not braised, just boiled in mystery broth bland, slightly sweet. no soup ladle provided –cabbage nian gao(6.25) just average –braised lamb noolde soup(8.25) came in 2 parts, lamb very tender, separate noodle in slight msg broth just average. leftovers: –finished plates never cleared from table –noodles seem commercially sourced, not handmade –after paying and telling waitress about raw food, nothing was done — waitress id came back for $ 6 more, saying they added the tab wrong. HUH? WT. abacus not working? –family member felt ill afterwards stomach issues, msg prescence in food. no return. food not consistent. 2.5 stars

After driving around for 20 minutes looking for a place to eat, we decided to have Top Café. As we drove up, Top Café was now a different restaurant. We looked to the right and noticed a new restaurant, Top Noodle. Walking in, we were immediately greeted and seated. After being seated, we were given a menu… But it was in full Taiwanese! We flagged down a waitress and asked for an English menu. She have us one and told us she would help us order. The hubs and I ordered: –beef noodle soup — spicy beef noodle soup –xlb(soup dumplings) I loved everything! The portions were generous for the noodle soup. The broth was tasty. The meat was tender and it came with a hard boiled egg. The Xlb was my favorite part! The filling was yummy and moist. The dough was soft and chewy. The waitress came by and refilled our water twice which was awesome. Overall, this place was super clean, food was great, and they had good customer service. I really hope this place stays open, unlike the previous restaurants at this location.

Complaints: 1. Bring a north face jacket — the AC is set at 45 degrees i swear 2. Since theyre too cheap to switch out the tables from the previous owner, be prepared to hit your knees on the hot pot«bar» underneath the table at least 3 times.(they dont serve any hot pot at all either so hwy dont they get new tables) Good Things: 1. Clean. 2. Decent Food — not amazing not bad Overall: 3⁄5 stars(& –1 for complaints)

After having a disappointing meal down the way, we continued here with much better success. The space is kinda barren and it looks like they took the previous resto and expanded it next door. They still have the hot pot plate tables from said resto. Got the spicy lamb noodle, vegetables with cured pork belky, and the spicy chicken soup. All really good and large portions. Staff are humble and really friendly. Definitely coming back for the extensive menu items we didnt try

Newly opened Shanghai style noodle house. They kept the same tables from the previous restaurant, which were tables for hot pot. There is an extra bar under the table that makes it a bit uncomfortable/gets in the way to sit forward. Tried their braised beef noodle regular broth and in the clear broth. We asked for the thick noodles, which was just alright on chewiness. They were pretty generous on beef in the soup and definitely got your fill from one bowl. The clear broth was very savory as well. Flavor wise, just alright and not particularly outstanding or special for noodles. Liked that on a hot evening they kept the air conditioning going strong. Makes for a much better atmosphere for eating hot noodles.
