What can I say about this place? New Sprint store(at least to me), close proximity to my house, clean, responsive to their customers, communicative, and customer service… well, let’s just say, it took a while, but they managed to pull it off(ha). At the time, my HTC Evo was giving me issues relating to the usb port; it just wasn’t charging optimally as it used to. So I called around to see which Sprint store offered on-site repair, which brought me to this location(I never knew there was a Sprint store in the Beresford Square Shopping Center). When I arrived, off the bat, I sensed the ‘Sprint Customer Service’ I was looking for would not be there. I offered my case and how my Evo was faulty, but was given the run-around response, along with plllleeennty of eye-rolling.(Gad, all that was missing was him snapping his fingers at me)(lol). Fast-forwarding two days later, I returned to the SAME location to find that the customer rep who would be helping me was that SAME guy — just my luck right? Anyway, while he was busy searching his computer system for my ticket number, I noticed the difference in customer service I had received in my initial visit — I was dumfounded by the change of attitude. He answered my questions accordingly and offered advice which I thought was useful and appreciative. I was also surprised by how amazingly fast my phone took to arrive. So… good job ProStar! Overall, I would recommend this location to anyone inquiring about Sprint, whether you’re considering getting on-board with Sprint, or if you’re a current Sprint member, ProStar will take care of you.

This is my love letter to Alvaro(sorry, husband.) So I wanted a Droid phone back in December 2010 to replace my Palm Pre that basically was always dying/freezing/complaining about operating. Since I was unemployed/cash poor, I went with the $ 99 Samsung Intercept instead of the $ 350 top-o-the-line model that I really wanted to get to replace the Pre. Fast forward to February 2011, the Intercept(pink model — a color I normally avoid — should have known) was refusing to go past the warm-up screen of «Samsung». Basically mocking me just like the Pre did. I did my own homegrown-try to fix it on my own — take the battery out and restart, etc. but it continued to mock me.(«Samsung… Samsung… Samsung…») I was dreading going to the Sprint store, because I knew from my experiences over the last 13 years that I’ve had a Sprint account(that’s right bitches — since ’98), it’s always been a hassle to get repairs and replacement phones without paying the $ 100 name it what you want fee. I knew the McCarthy-Ranch store had moved(they said they were going to when I bought the Mocker), and found this location on Sprint’s website. So off to this location I went(after I cruised past the McCarthy-Ranch old location to make sure they weren’t there anymore). Alvaro is my personal hero/savior/leading man in any girl’s fantasy. He believed me within the first 5 minutes that my phone(«Samsung… Samsung… Samsung…») was really broken. He also went on to say that the phone was complete crap and he wouldn’t have sold it to me since they see so many of them for repairs and such. And he was really being sincere. I never felt a sales push from him trying to get me to buy a new phone with money I didn’t have, and he didn’t charge me for the replacement phone for the broke one. My hour at the Sprint store(I was able to melt down his computer while being within 5 feet of it — it just wasn’t my day with electronics) was actually fun and relaxing. I went to the Pete’s coffee before I went to the Sprint store, and I actually had a good time waiting for the t’s to get crossed and i’s to be dotted. He probably could have gotten me out of the store faster, but because he is a competitor in the running for the«perfect Old Spice guy» he was able to give me a blackberry as a loaner phone. The phone he loaned me(Purple — yay!) was an older Blackberry model that used to belong to the store’s owner’s wife or something, so it was sitting in their storage room as unsellable. Alvaro said I could keep it if I didn’t like the Intercept anymore after using the Blackberry. And hell yes! I love it so much more than that mocking piece of crap. I still need to go return my broke ass phone to the Sprint store, and I am very happy that I ended up at this location instead of the McCarthy Ranch location… well… their new location, because I still feel like I would have gotten the run around eventually being passed to the manager. Alvaro knows his shit, and if he’s on-duty while you’re there, you’ll be lucky to have him help you! Honest, clear-cut, concise, and helpful are all the words I would use to describe him. Thank you so much Alvaro! And I promise to get the broke Intercept to you. Promise. Soon. Even though I said I would two weeks ago. *whoops*

I walked in here having some questions about my Evo and the insurance on my phone. Dan was able to answer all those questions for me and was very helpful. If you want great service, come to this location. You’ll receive great service every time.

This is an independently owned Sprint store. I switched to Sprint about 2 months ago and came here to get some info after I bought my phone at Best Buy. The guys I always go to at this store are always really nice and know their stuff. I’ve been there a few times now and they have always got my questions asked and have been really nice to me. They offer free sessions to sit down with you and show you all the features of the phones that you may be considering, which is really nice because phones these days have so many features, it’s impossible to figure it all out on your own. Customer service is totally solid here. The only downfall is that since it is independently owned, I had to pay a service charge of $ 7 to pay my bill. I’ll just pay online next time hahaha. Also, it’s a small store so they don’t have as many choices of phone cases. I did buy a case there though for $ 20. For any questions I have though, I’m definitely coming back here because they really know their stuff. At other retail stores where its always busy or have multiple phone carrier products, it’s hard to get good customer service.

There used to be a ProStar of Milpitas on N Able Street. I think they just moved to a new location. They are now located right next to Staples, the SPRINT store. Anyway, I’ve been a Sprint Customer since 2002. ProStar has repaired and activated MANY of our phones. We recently went to ProStar at Milpitas Town Center twice to get two phones repaired. My mother-in-law(sand/water damage) and my daughter’s phone(sand inside the speaker). ProStar was not able to repair the phones, but they were able to replace them(under our phone insurance). We picked up the new phone in just a couple of days! The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are welcoming and easy to approach. I’m sure that I’ll be back soon to repair/upgrade one of our many phones =)
