I had a horrible back injury that basically left me in pain when I moved in anyway. It even hurt when I took a deep breath. I also had a pending trip to Tahoe where I’d have to endure a long car ride and a planned hike. Boy, this back problem was cramping my style. Never having back problems, I didn’t know what to do but my Mom recommended Jerry and I wasn’t let down at all. The session was like one of those miracle prayer sessions at church «you will walk again in the name of the Lord!» and Bam! Tears shed, I became saved again and did a jig right out the door. Okay, I’m exaggerating. No, he didn’t pray on me. And no, I didn’t do the jig, that day. But the next day I was better and did go on my hike in Tahoe. He’s a good guy and knows exactly what he’s doing. One session and I was back in action. You can’t beat that!

He does PT massages so this is not a relaxation Spa Massage. Think of it as what athletes go through when they are injured and they have to get back in shape! It hurts but it work!

I’ve been Jerry’s client for almost a year now. He’s great! He does relaxation, deep tissue, and sports massages. All of them are great. He is very friendly, has a great sense of humor, and is always very professional.

I had my first massage with Jerry this week. I’ve been going to the Natural Health Center now for a while for chiropractic care, and it was time to try a massage.
Jerry is awesome. He’s always been very friendly in passing while I was in the waiting room, even though I was not a client of his until now. He’s just really easy to like right off the bat., and interesting to talk to during the massage.
Jerry finds problem areas very adeptly. He found knots I didn’t know I had. And, unlike past massages I’ve had at random places, Jerry really focused on the problem areas (he does massage therapy, not relaxation massages).
He’s also great about using the right amount of pressure. He was able to judge how much I could take for optimum results, without hurting me. And he was honest about it– he told me I would hurt the next day. Yes, I was sore, yes, I have a few bruises, because he can give you as much pressure as you want! He told me many therapists have to use objects to administer as much pressure as he does. I’ve had one of those, and it hurt. Jerry’s strength is an asset.
Unlike many massages I’ve had, I felt Jerry listened well, worked on my problem areas, gave the right amount of pressure… alll the things I feel are important in a quality therapist. I have no doubt my money was well spent.
And, since I know some people get concerned about this sort of thing… I as a female was completely comfortable with him as a therapist. He was absolutely professional.
I went ahead and signed up for 6 more visits, and I’m looking forward to seeing how I feel when he’s done!

Better than Physical Therapy, the Natural Health Center offers Acupuncture, Massage, and Chiropractic treatment. Jerry Donner is the Massage Therapist and he is the best that I have experienced. He does stretches that rival or surpass physical therapy and deep tissue that puts a physical therapist to shame. How do I know? I have had a lot of massages over the last twenty years from fancy spas, hot rock massage, Calistoga massage, deep tissue, sports massage, etc, etc. Jerry is the best. He is very popular. His patients love him. Getting an appointment with him may require a wait, but it is worth it. His deep tissue is the best. He can fix difficult issues. How do I know this? I own the office that he works in and refer him my difficult patients (I am the Acupuncturist here, Robin Hays, and have had the center for 21 years.) I have never had such a popular massage therapist with such a warm, friendly, yet professional personality. The office is very spacious, pretty and clean, was voted best looking office in Milpitas. (I have been voted Best Acupuncturist in Milpitas every year since the voting began and treat everything from pain to allergies to fertility.) But this is about Jerry Donner, and he is the simply the best, the only one that I trust with my difficult patients where Physical Therapy has failed and Acupuncture needs massage to get the patient better.
