I have seen the sign for this place offering a 70 minute massage for $ 50 but was hesitant to try it out for fear that it would be shady inside. I finally decided to try it and booked my first appointment with Sophie on Saturday. It’s no Burke Williams for sure, but for the price I received a pretty great massage, it was clean inside and I didn’t pick up on any shady vibes while I was there. They do have you pay when you arrive — including tip, which is a little odd since you are supposed to tip based on the quality of your treatment/service, but I went ahead and did 15% tip prior to my service and hoped for the best. My biggest complaint would probably be that the hole in the massage table that your face goes into, is staring down at a stained towel — which can easily be switched out but they didn’t. Maybe because their own faces don’t ever stare into that face-hole??? I’m not sure? But it seems like an easy fix that would go miles in the sake of cleanliness and atmosphere. Also, they don’t have a top sheet on the massage table? Meaning you undress and then either lay naked as you wait for the massage therapist to come in, or you cover up with the towel that is in the room, which is small, so you have to pick and choose what area of your body you want to cover the most. The top sheet would be nice but again, little things like this is most likely what helps to keep the pricing so low. I’ll be back for sure though.

This is pretty much the best place in the bay area. I don’t give many five star reviews but I really recommend this massage shop to someone who need professional massage. Everyone here is very friendly. I will be definitely come back.

I came here because I wanted a Thai massage but they did not do it(false advertising?), and did their Chinese style swedish massage instead. The massage was OK. In the end the masseuse demanded a $ 20 tip.

I’ve been here about six or seven times already, and with the exception of one of the visits, it’s been a great experience every time. I usually get the 70 minute massage for $ 50. Oh heads up, they charge you before your massage, so you either can bring cash tip, or charge it to your card after your massage. You have the option of taking a shower before your massage at the place; they have two nice, clean showers with plenty of towels. The massage room is pretty standard, clean, and well-kept. It’s very quiet, but they do play a little background music which I appreciate. For the one time I went and did not have a good massage, it was because another customer was being super demanding and disruptive. Because of scheduling issues, my masseuse had to keep coming in and out to diffuse the situation. Things happen… but at that time I wished my masseuse wasn’t also working the front desk. Anyway, I just booked a session for later tonight!

Nice clean place. My first time here this past labor day weekend and my therapist ironed out 2 big knots on my back and shoulders. I got the 70 min full body massage and it was very relaxing and painful at the same time; in a good way though. Will probably frequent this spot like twice a month to help soothe out sore muscles.

Ok update. I’ve come here twice more and I’m entirely unpleased. The second time I came I got a different woman and she was nowhere near as good as Sophie. In fact I asked her to do deep tissue or Thai massage, both of which I requested when I called the front desk and they said«no problem.» However when I arrived, the masseuse got very nervous and hesitant when I asked her if she did deep tissue or Thai massage. Then she disappeared for what seemed like 5 to 10 minutes before she came back and proceeded to give me a massage without giving me an answer as to whether she could do deep tissue or Thai massage. when she proceeded to give me the massage, it was evident that she did not have this training. Instead she proceeded to give me a Swedish-type massage and attempted to apply as much pressure as she could only leaving me bruised instead of healed. This is the third time I have come back thinking that perhaps I should request Sophie again. Again when I called they said no problem. However when I arrived there was no Sophie, and the person who proceeded to do my massage utilized some Thai methods but it was evident that she has no idea about the body. The technique was OK, but she kept missing my points tension throughout the massage. She also continually left my massage to gather warm towels, but took way too long to do so, making me wonder if I was getting the full 100 minutes that I was paying for. Throughout the massage I continually asked her to apply more pressure, as much pressure as possible, to no avail. Also, due to the language barrier I could tell that even though I had very specific feedback she wasn’t understanding what I was saying. To top it off, as I was leaving I decided I was not going to leave a tip because she didn’t do anything that I asked and this third time around I was feeling duped. However the lady at the front desk insisted that I leave a tip and when I specified the amount, which was still about 15%, I could tell from her tone of voice speaking to the masseuse that both of them were not pleased with the amount and were very likely speaking ill of me. I won’t return. Even though I’m still in search of an authentic Thai massage like the sort I am accustomed to finding so easily when I lived in LA, I think I’ll just go to Massage Envy where at least I know they speak English and will accommodate my requests without fail.

It was a solid massage go-to place. Massage, masseuse and environment are all great except the owner was a bit pushy about the tip. She even asked me how much I was going to pay her masseuse. The masseuse was probably underpaid by the owner. Make sure you bring enough change but even if you don’t, the owner can charge the tip in your credit card.

Don’t waste your money. This place is terrible! I came for a 70 minute massage, which cost $ 50 and the lady just literally rubbed lotion all over me!!! It’s a full body massage and she didn’t even massage my feet. What the heck? And my back is still hurting me. Ugh what a waste. If you want to pay someone $ 50 to rub lotion on your back, be my guest. Go up the street on Calaveras to place called Footlax and get yourself a cheaper, more effective and professional massage.

I’ve been here a few times and loved it. The place is clean and the staff was polite and the masseuses provided good service. Cici is very good in deep tissue massage and never cut any corner or cut time from the session so I always requested Cici. She tailored the session according to my request and it really helped my arm pain from the pinched nerve problem.

My favorite spa for a fix whenever I could have time to drive to Milpitas. Becky is great, she can pinpoint your muscle tension needed. I enjoy walk on back and strong deep tissue. Alternate can ask for Kim, her skill is good too. I tired Thai Massage in SF, but not as expected.

I am a regular here now simply because of my bad experience at BT in San Jose(had to look for other options). These girls never insist on back walking, always friendly at the counter, never shorted me minutes, and they have nice shower too!

This is the first massage place I’ve ever been to. Been there now twice, and been happy both times. The second time my neck had been killing me for days so I told the massage therapist about it, and she made sure to concentrate on fixing that. I’ve only gotten the Swedish massage tho, haven’t tried out any of the others :)

I have been to different massage spas around this area and I think Elegance Spa is one of the best. Their rooms are very clean and well decorated and they also have a shower room if you need it. I have tried different masseuses and all of them are well trained to do the full body massage. They also have decent price with high quality of service. I highly recommended you to give it a try.

I think this place is decent and has very affordable massages. My husband booked this place as a birthday treat but non-rmt(registered massage therapist) are not for me. I am very used to the rmt protocole. When I got in the room the bed did not have a cover sheet, only 1 sheet to cover the bed, the massage therapist tried to speak to me in mandarin when I told her I only spoke cantonese(and laughed when I didn’t respond), and even though the room is private, she was not always covering me up when working which made me feel exposed and also cold. If you are familiar with the RMT protocol, you are always covered. In short, this is one discount massage spa among others and I think it is decent and clean. If you just want a good deal on a decent massage then go, by all means this will do the job. But if you are like me and you are used to registered massage therapist and their professional protocols, this will not be for you.

Professional, clean and well trained. I like the fact that they ask you to shower first so youre clean before they touch your body. If I was a masseuse I wouldn’t want to touch a stinky sweaty body. The masseuses prefer you undressed but you can wear you underwear if you want, but you won’t get the best massage that way. Place is relaxing and the staff is nice. They have different styles of massages including sports. I usually come by after a hard workout or a long hiking weekend. I feel like I can work out some more after all my muscles are loose. I will gladly pay more for this place than those foot massage cheapie places. Staff are are train and know what they are doing. Highly recommend!

Grand opening special is $ 50 for 70 min massage(either deep tissue or Swedish). They have a brand new shower room with anything that you would need right there! The massage rooms are also quite impressive! They have a robe there for you if you would like to shower. And the décor is very relaxing. I can’t remember my masseuse’s name but she was extremely nice and the massage was good! Not the best I have had but definitely well worth the $ 50. Also the girl at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Overall experience was great and I will be back :) *NOTE: The spa is located on the second floor of the building.
