Okay okay… so besides the lack of food after the kitchen closes at two, this place is perfect. Low priced assortment of delicious dishes. Set up to cater to various different cuisines. Of course each cannot be healthy for you, the menu takes proportional into account with not only the quantity served; but, also in the balance of the various mico and macro nutrients. The staff is fantastic. From the chiefs to the cashiers, everyone is genuinely friendly and helpful. It is great to be able to see the same faces. Highly recommend the pasta or stir fry station. Customizable meals tailored to your liking. What struck me was the amount /variety of cold juices and beverages. This place has more than my local liquor store. For being a cafeteria, cisco has made a good choose in the service they provide for their employees and contractors.

Eh, not too bad for a cafeteria for Cisco. The cooks there are great and provide a good service. Prices are average and what you’d expect from a cafeteria for a workplace. Food is good though with my tastes and appetite, I wouldn’t be able to make it a daily thing… even if there’s a large selection of food to choose from.

I’ve been eating in cafeterias all my life. School, Military and now Professional– I have to say, Professional Cafeteria Systems are pretty amazing. I was at the Cisco campus last year for CVOICE class. The cafeteria offered a wealth of choice. It was similar to being in a Shopping mall dining area.

***Update*** They no longer have the tortellini. It’s now penne, bowtie and shells. Still good though! This cafeteria is right next to my mom’s building. I am in building J and 21’s cafeteria is way bigger and nicer with more selection. I LOVE the pasta bar(which J doesn’t have). Choice of type of pasta with selection of veggies, chicken(costs extra) and one of three sauces(tomato, Alfredo and something else). I usually get the tortellini with zucchini, tomato, mushrooms, and garlic with no sauce. They throw it all in a wok, heat it up, and into a bowl. SOOOOOGOOD and healthy too provided you don’t put the Alfredo on it. The serving is very small when you compare it to what restaurants give you, but it’s really the perfect amount of food. Plus my mom always treats me to lunch when I have to come in to the office!

Positives: The staff are friendly. The food is decent. The price is right. The DIY salad and sandwich bars are well stocked. The tex-mex, and made to order pasta is good. Negatives: The coffee is _super_bad! I mean really really terrible. Almost as bad as the crud in the break rooms. The staff are friendly, but clueless with a coffee machine. Did I say the coffee was bad? Snack selection is not great, especially outside lunch hours. There are special meals every week, but the salad and sandwich bar never seems to have anything new.

I work in building 22 so this place is right next door to me, which makes it a convenient place to get some lunch if I don’t feel like walking across the street to the Ranch 99 area or going out somewhere else for lunch. It’s not free like lunch from my previous company, but the food here is better and the prices aren’t too bad… i usually end up spending only around $ 5. There are plenty of options to choose from and there are daily specials from each of the different food stations so it’s not the same old menu everyday. I haven’t gone to any of the other cafeterias on campus yet because they’re all so far away. And if I have to drive somewhere to get food, I might as well drive outside the Cisco campus limits so that I can get away from work for awhile.

Super friendly cafeteria staff. Lots of choices. Peet’s coffee, wood fired pizzas, soup, sandwich, salad and pasta bar, Mongolian barbecue, Indian and Mexican food. Prices are reasonable. Cafeteria is bright, sunny and spacious. No real selection for desserts unless you grab something from the Peet’s stand. Grab a beverage from the breakroom before eating lunch.

For you Cisco-ites out there, skip all of the other cafeterias and head to this one. If you don’t possess a badge, give me a hollah and I’ll get you in… you just buy the lunch. Hands down the best cafeteria on the campus, and one of the best corporate cafeterias in the valley(ok, I haven’t been to Google). The Paradise Café is set in a tropical surrounding, and is well lit and open, and inviting. The daily selections are: Stir fry(mongolian barbecue) Mexican food and Taco Bar Salad Bar Sandwich Bar Fresh Tossed Salads Pasta station Rotating Panini choices Grill items(burgers, etc.) They also alternate Indian, sushi, and a main course, and occasionally offer theme lunches, like asian heritage week, cajun, black history, you get the idea. All of the choices are trans fat free, and they use food from sustainable sources. Peete’s coffee is also a good touch and the omelett station in the morning is great!
