Acorn Bed and Breakfast was outstanding. I took a weekend trip with my fiancé — out of DC and into the «country» — and we were impressed. :) I typically do not stay at Bed and Breakfasts, and felt a little anxious prior to our stay. However, the house was very clean (very!), and this was one of the most important things to me. Additionally, Gene, the primary innkeeper, was professional and customer-​focused — not to mention, a great chef! Our breakfast meals were extraordinary. We hope to go back.
It was truly a great stay, and I highly recommend to anyone! For someone that has only stayed in rather nice hotels, I was quite impressed. Great place!

This bed and breakfast was a wonderful gem to find, extremely clean and nice, but most of all the host met all of our needs to make it a great experience, next time we wont be scanning travel sites for the perfect B&B bc we found it

This is our second stay at Acorn. It won’t be our last. Good rooms, great beds, great breakfast, quiet. Gene does a wonderful job making us feel comfortable. We’ll definitely be back. I’m sure.
