The Press is such as an awesome place for pies and ciders. The small shop was setup at a tiny strip mall like a bar with tables on the side, only missing the alcohol. They have awesome pie selections that changes by the season, and only fresh ingredients get mixed in with the pies. Rather it was savory or sweet pies, they had done them before. Adding ice cream onto your pie or cider is also an option for that extra sugary kick. If you are a fan of freshness, this is the place for you. The owner Miles is also a pretty cool guy as well. They also participated in seasonal events such as Pie Day too. It was a bit sad to find that they will be closing shop soon, hopefully they will reopen elsewhere.

The Press has excellent fresh fruit single serving size pies. And the owner offers a pleasant customer friendly service with a smile and a few jokes! If you are in the area, just had a meal and looking for a great dessert, this is your place. We luckily found it Unilocaling during our short overnight visit to the area.

Yum! We came to The Press last week and I am so happy we did. It’s been on my list forever! The restaurant itself was well decorated and the owner was just pulling fresh pies out of the oven as we sidled up to the counter. My friend ordered a fresh apple pie(sounds like the beginning of a bad movie, but it was really just the beginning of a delicious relationship) and I got warm lemon berry. Both were great. We also ordered a bottle of house-pressed cider and it was really amazing. I’ll definitely be returning to The Press to buy more of that cider and to try all of their pie! Can’t wait for the next time.

This place is a delight! Their fresh strawberry and homemade glaze is a summer dream. Miles is a sweetheart and loves to take care of his guests. Cute atmosphere and a wide variety of treats. 5 stars!

Found this place on Unilocal and wanted to give it a try. I love desserts and if I can find a place that makes awesome pies, then count me in! The place initially was a bit tricky to find because it is in a little shopping strip type thing but no sign on the roads to indicate that the store is in there. You kind of figure it is located somewhere in there, you just have to drive around the parking lot a bit. After finding it, I fell in love with this place instantly. The décor is cute and welcoming, and the person, Miles, that greeted is at the door was super friendly. He showed us how the press worked and gave us a run down on what pies they offered. We ordered a key lime pie and blueberry, cherry pie. We were able to sample the cider but will have to come back another time. The key lime pie was sooooo amazing! I usually don’t like key lime pie but this one was spot on. The crust is great, the lime was there but not too strong; definitely want to order a larger one next time. The blueberry, cherry pie I’m sad to say was good but not great. The filling was a bit dry for my liking, maybe needs more filling? Needless to say we didn’t let pie go to waste so we finished the entire thing. I also love that the hours are later in the day, it gives me time to have dinner and then swing by for some dessert afterwards. New favorite place for some pie and I’m excited to come back and try some more flavors!

My friend and I remedied the rainy Monday with pie and cider adventures at this new spot, The Press. The owner, Miles, was super friendly and hooked us up with delicious pies and house pressed cider(get it with ginger)! We tried chocolate, key lime, lemon-cherry and peach cobbler. The fruits are locally harvested, crust is made by hand and we didn’t leave a bite uneaten. The chocolate pie reminded me of hot coco puff cereal(in the best way ever), the peaches in the cobbler were perfectly caramelized, the crumbly graham cracker crust set off the richness of the key lime and the lemon-cherry was invented in house. We also tried the butternut squash empanadas and it was totally ridiculous creamy baked goodness. Whipped cream is on the house!

There is truth in the adage, ‘do one thing and do it really well.’ In the case of The Press, it’s two: fresh pressed cider from local apples and delicious homemade pies. The peach cobbler, chocolate pie and lemon cherry were fresh and outstanding! The cider reminded me of all of the fresh cider farms in Upstate New York in the fall. If you love local food, stop in and enjoy Miles’ creations — you’ll feel like your sitting down with an old friend. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this hidden gem!

I have heard of this place for a while and have been dying to try it! So glad we had a chance to stop in. We walked in and to our surprise they were having an open mic night. It was such a neat and creative environment. The man and woman that helped us order were delightful. We decided on the pumpkin, chocolate, cherry and lemon. All of them were delicious but surprisingly the lemon was my favorite. It was thick and creamy and just the right tartness. We will for sure return to try other flavors. Love to support local businesses.

We stopped in for a mid-afternoon snack. We thought the pies were pretty good(pumpkin and apple), but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. The cider was tasty, but ours was a little pulpy(this we got the bottom of a batch). The people who run this place are friendly, and they make everything in-house. In addition to fruit pies, some cream pie options might be nice. I hope this place survives because I think it’s really cute and unique. The location isn’t ideal. Not familiar with my surroundings, we had a hard time finding it, and the strip mall set back from the road isn’t really ideal for people driving by who might spot it and stop by.

I love it! It’s a trendy little hole in the wall that warms the soul as soon s you walk in. It is cozy and decorated so great! They don’t offer a ton but what they do offer is unique, quality, and delicious. Im not gonna lie, the pies taste like home and really what gets better than that. They offer a few different pie selections and they are not slices of pie as you may have seen or heard, but rather they are mini individual pies. I’ve had the apple, apple pumpkin, and the chocolate… They all were so delicious! The chocolate isn’t your typical tasting chocolate cream/pudding pie you would normally expect. It is like a brownie, cookie, pecan pie texture hybrid haha it is really hard to explain. obviously that shows how unique it is seeing as I’ve never tried anything else like it. I got a fresh out of the oven apple pie and got it a la mode for a $ 1 more because hot apple pie and ice cream are meant to be together of course. Honestly, I think the key to good pie is the crust and The Press has me sold. Overall, this place is awesome! I think it deserves 5 stars for quality, taste, super cool and friendly service and ownership, experience, and all for a great price. I am excited to see where this place goes in the future. I have high hopes! If only it was a little bit more conveniently located. If it was in Provo, it would be packed every night no doubt.

Love this new local little place. Their pumpkin pie is unreal. It’s made totally from scratch – including fresh pumpkin. Their cider is also not messing around – I could drink that stuff for days on days.

Scratch made, delicious flaky crust, with equally delicious apple filling. What we could all be aspiring to create at home, but thankfully don’t have to because you can just swing by and pick one up.

Fall has arrived and so has The Press. They feature amazing apple cider using local apples and have 3in, 4in, and larger pies using various fruits. We ordered a gallon of cider(that hardly lasted an hour) and a 4in apple pie and 3in peach pie. The cider was fresh and crisp. The homemade pies were featured fresh fruit and the crust melted in your mouth. Although the menu is small, it packs deliciousness in every gulp and bite. It is a little out of the way, but it is totally worth the trip.

Literally I am here every week. Why? For the delicious made from scratch pies from local produce and the friendly service! Peach was our favorite during the pike of the season! Right now, pumpkin pie and cherry peach cobbler are my favorite! You definitely will know the pumpkin aren’t from the can because you see the little pumpkin strings/veins in it. The spices are just the right among! It tastes heavenly when it is warm and top it with ice cream! Drooling… making a pool right now! Also try the apple cider and the apple cider float! They tried to make peach cider but it always clotted up their machine. When we are there, they tried to make new pie and let us to try it. Btw, the one of the owners speaks fluent Vietnamese and another one spoke Chinese once. Also the brother speaks fluent Korean!

The best peach pie I’ve EVER had. Frankly, I didn’t even know peaches were supposed to taste like that. My mind was sort of blown. The cider was also some of the best I’ve ever had. It just punches you right in the face with cidery, delicious, fresh flavor. I wasn’t aware that I needed a place in my life where I could get fresh fruit pies and apple cider but apparently i did. I needed it bad. I’ll be back a LOT.

This is exactly what that weird little strip mall needed. The Press is essentially a cute farmers market booth that turned into an actual place of business. The décor and such is still a little unfinished(I think) but it’s still early. Come here for fresh-pressed cider where you can see the list of apples that went into it that day. I love that you can actually taste the different types of apples! Pie. Oh the pie. And cobbler! When I stopped by, we had fresh apple, pear, and ginger pie, cherry cobbler, and peach pie. Holy wow. The fruit is incredibly fresh and the crust, oh so flaky. You can tell they use real butter. I like the convenient individual sizes so that you can try different things. The menu is pretty tiny so I’m hoping there’s more to come as they get situated. I’ve been hearing about savory pies and that gets me excited. I’d take savory anything of sweets any day but these fresh fruit pies could change my mind.

It’s hard to know what to call this place. It’s not really a juice bar, in the traditional sense. They’re not as pretentious as juice bars tend to be(The Press is about as far from pretentious as you can get). And they’re not really what you might consider a bakery, although they do make delicious baked goods. I’m going with fresh fruit fanatics. They may have started out at farmers markets as those guys who crush up apples and make juice, but it’s evolved into a full retail space for fruit lovers. And what better way to love fruit than with fresh cider, fresh pies, and seasonal delights. Right now the peaches are just about done(though some were frozen, they’ll go quickly) and the apples are still going strong. As of this moment, the pumpkin pie is hitting its stride. It will be interesting to see what’s next. So what can you expect? That’s still up in the air as they continue to define themselves. They’re working on savory pies – I got to sample a veggie pie and it was really nice and actually tasted like veggies and not like a pocket full of veggie mush. Right now it’s a great place to get a treat, or grab some apple cider that’s freshly pressed. Coffee shop meets orchard.

This place is addictive! Truly amazing are the fresh peach pies.(Season coming to an end) Apple pies are pretty good as well. Cider is the well known, fresh pressed, you find at the farmer’s market but now you can get almost everyday. I can’t wait for more pies and savory items. I hear meat pies are in the works. Just go and be happy.

On a gray gloomy day, come to The Press and grab a peach pie. The fresh peaches with the juicy glaze with brighten your day. Add in the buttery flaky crust and your golden. I, seriously, could eat the peaches just by themselves. That’s how good it is. So, go get yourself a peach pie!!! =)

We got to chat with an owner while the peach cobbler finished baking, which was fun! The dècor is charming, and the cider we sampled was, as Mom put it, «the champagne of ciders». We’re really not that into cider, but their concoction is amazing! We also tried the peach pie while waiting, and the buttery crust and fresh peaches made it stellar. Happily took home our cobblers and mini-pies, and plan to return soon. Hope this little shop can make it!
