My boss and I ordered from here and our salads were definitely not fresh. The blue cheese dressing was obviously Wish Bone(yuck!). The lettuce and tomatoes were mushy and wilted. We expected more from this location, as we’ve ordered excellent salads from Cioffi’s Union and their catering in Springfield.

This is the 2nd time I get my order and it looks like it’s been sitting out for hours! The leafs are brown and tomatoes looks like it’s been squished. It doesn’t taste good or even look appetizing at all! I will not order from this place again. Gross!

Salad House, I really do enjoy your food and I haven’t had an issue until recently. This is the second time this week when I tried to order from you, I was placed on a continuous hold. The first time I gave up and just didn’t eat that night out of pure frustration but today I was reminded by your brochure I could order online. Eureka! Right? Not really. Little did I know that I would be forced to get TWO items since the minimum for delivery is $ 15 through your website when its only $ 10 over the phone which I feel is a rip off. The delivery time was sent for 7:15 which is perfect because that’s the time for my lunch break at work but here I am on lunch with only 2 minutes left for my break I don’t have any food because it wasn’t delivered. Thanks!

Huge salads. Pity that they skimp on the dressing. Be sure to ask for extra or ask that they mix it in.

We went to this place this Saturday. I have serious allergies. None of the help had a clue what any of the ingredients were, particularly the kale burger. They gave me double talk and false information. There seemed to be no one knowledgeable in the place. Two conclusions could be drawn from this: 1) The staff does not know the ingredients because nothing other than the salad is made here and 2) the place is operated unprofessionally with no one responsible for customer satisfaction. Either or both way this place is one big zero

The salads are fresh. I thought it was a little pricey but the salads are huge. The food is good quality. I disliked all the add on’s, it adds up. I thought the place was small, hard to find a place to sit.

Just an OK place. Not that great at all. We reached there 5 min before to close. So, were asked to order before the kitchen closes. I ordered a salad off the menu. It was just OK. I have had better salads than this !

Really great chopped salad. I went in the evening so there was no line. A little pricey but I don’t mind paying that for good quality food.

First off, this is a great place to grab a quick, affordable lunch that’s very filling. It’s quite annoying that add-ins like sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and portobello mushrooms are $ 1.50 extra(and they didn’t even throw in that many sun-dried tomatoes. Also, my chicken was cold and not too plentiful. On the positive side, the salad is a great portion size and chopped which is great. The cilantro lime dressing I got was great. Also, the service is quick and the price is very reasonable.

Yuck! Trying too hard as far as the menu. Returned a sandwich bc it was so disgusting(tuna) after taking one bite. They let me pay for another sandwich(the veggie Penini) which had undercooked eggplant. This place needs an overhaul from Gordon Ramsey or better yet, just close and let someone else that cares take a shot.

Came here for take out and ordered the Mandarin Chicken Salad and my girlfriend ordered a custom salad with tuna. We both thoroughly enjoyed our salads. Everything was fresh and crunchy. A good lunch spot, but a tad pricey. A salad and drink will run you about $ 13 depending on which salad. I will return for my salad fixes.

Clean location. Friendly, efficient service. Fresh, highly diverse ingredients. Fun, creative menu options for salads and sandwiches/wraps, with create-your-own option available. Fresh made soup rotation. Smoothies Kids menu. Pizza options. Limited seating and tough parking, though delivery is available within a reasonable distance with a minimum purchase. A touch on the pricy side. I had lunch there with my young son today. I had a salad that I really enjoyed. He loved his chicken fingers. It would have been nice had they brought him utensils as well, rather than just a fork for me, as I had to go up and get a knife/fork for him so I could cut up his chicken and he could eat. 1 salad, kids chicken fingers/fries, 2 bottles of water for about $ 22. That should probably come in at just under 20, so I’m sticking with a touch pricy, though not outrageous. I’d return. They have nice healthy options for those of us trying to eat better and just enough other options so that those who’d rather indulge a bit can enjoy as well.

**delivery** — and to Summit! **seating inside** I have missed having a local salad house so when I stumbled upon this one it made me happy. What made me happier was to hear they had delivery to Summit. You can order other things besides salad, but I have only gotten the make your own salad. Walk in and you can write out your order as I have pictured. You can even check a box where it says«keep on file» for ease on return visits. They have an App too. I found my salad to be ok. The dressing and fixins were good, but the chicken has always been too tough and cold. Oh, but the chicken pastina soup was awesome! Still, for delivery on the healthier side, this place is reasonable and I will be returning.

The Salad House is a pretty solid spot to grab a healthy bite(or have it delivered) for your needs. What’s great about them is they have a «Create Your Own» style for salads and wraps — lovely. It’s a nice little shop — maintained well, really nice staff, and a pretty quick way about making your custom wrap or salad. Their menu says«Allow 10 minutes,» but they had it done sooner than that for sure. I got my own wrap: whole wheat, feta, and some grilled chicken were some of the ingredients, and the Salad House Did a great job! Really well-done, all fresh, and tasting nice. They gave me tomatoes, which I didn’t ask for, and the wrap was a BIT dry. Other than that, it wasn’t bad at all. Some of those things can be fixed by maybe asking for extra dressing if you know you like that, or specifying next time to NOT play that TOMATOGAME. My wife and I had been craving a spot like this near us in Summit, and now that we know Salad House delivers to our area AND has online ordering, it’s gonna be a choice of ours going forward!

This place is awful. 30 mins so for and our order is not here. 30 mins for 2 salads? Really? I hope the salads are outstanding. Never ever again! I give it no stars if it wasn’t that you have to put stars.

At this point, I can only laugh. After my last review of The Salad House, the owner emailed me and apologized. Which, I totally appreciated. He explained that they have hired more delivery personnel to help with the busy lunch deliveries. He also, offered a $ 20 credit if I decided to give them a second chance. Today, I decided to do just that. I ordered at 10:45AM, it is now and hour and a half and still no lunch. I ordered two salads. We just called to check on our order, we were informed that the lunch was left at the front desk. It was not, no one in the building has seen a lunch delivery from them, so I’m not sure what front desk it was left at. We called them back and was told that they would give us a call back when they locate our lunch. Still waiting… It is difficult to write this review because our company always orders from Cioffi’s for catered lunches and parties. But, I can’t let this go without saying anything at all. At this point, I can only laugh at the situation… you really can’t make this up. We finally received our salads, the delivery guy just left it with a random employee. The receipt had a someone else’s name on it and a telephone number with an area code of 180. ??? When we called the manager back, he had an attitude with us. Saying that the delivery guy waited for twenty minutes and called but no one answered. Who did he call with a 180 area code. One of the salads was wrong. The reason that we had a credit was because of poor service, you would think that they would want to do better, this time. And the manager just simply said.“what do you want me to do?” Is this really the proper response? Well, I work at Affiliated Monitoring in Union and we do a lot of business with them and Cioffi’s. It’s good to know that unless you’re ordering for the company, you won’t get treated like your business matters.

If I could give a negative star I would be! When I walked in and gave my order to the gentleman behind the counter, he already had gloves on & proceeded to open doors and cabinets, and then took the same hand and scooped out my salad with the same dirty gloves! Outrageous! I noticed the only poor reviews on here were about how long their orders took and not the lack of cleanliness. To add insult to injury, when I pointed out that I did not want the contaminated salad, he placed it back into large bowl for other customers. Gross, gross, and gross! Please eat here at your own risk.

Well it’s a salad joint, I decided that I wanted to eat healthy and what better choices are there then salad. The setup is very similar to Saladworks but much smaller the place only offers about 6 or 7 seats and appears to be very clean with communal bathroom. I always prefer to build my own salad as opposed to grabbing their pre fab choices that they have on the menu wall, it makes me feel a bit more in control. Of course as you add different types of the usual options the price goes up. I didn’t notice any exotic items or anything out of the ordinary to choose from. In addition to the rabbit cuisine there seems to be some signature sandwiches paninis and wraps as you would expect but once again nothing out of the ordinary. They do have refillable cups of soda which is nice if you want to splurge on multiple trips to the soda dispenser. The help was courteous and friendly and the salad was fresh all though the tomatoes however were a little mushy. I had the Italian tuna added to my chopped romaine salad which was quite unique and with red peppers and onions as opposed to mayonnaise. For a quick fairly affordable lunch about $ 11 with lemonade swing by it’s clean but as I said there isn’t much seating but it’s healthy and It’ll make you feel good so you may hve a few extra beers later that night.

The service really is as unsmiling and miserable as others here have said. Seriously, are they treating the help THAT badly? That said, the salads are very fresh, well presented and generally terrific. And VERY expensive. Ah, Millburn.
