I’ve been to this place several times. I like the professionalism of all the bartenders. The drinks are always made to perfection. The food is also great. The price is a little high but overall worth a visit.

After having a nice experience at our office party here, we thought we’d try it for dinner. NOT!!! Food was OK, but not outstanding. Service was OK, but not particularly friendly. However, when we were leaving my friend lifted her coat from the banquette and discovered a mouse trap!!! UGH!!! I understand that food establishments attract rodents and must keep them at bay, but I don’t need to see it. We told the waiter, who was rather flustered, but to his credit said he’d call the manager. I’ve never experienced such rude and dismissive treatment in a restaurant before. He acted like we were out of line and should’ve just accepted this discovery as the norm. Never again!

We can walk here, it’s kid friendly, and the food is not bad. A little expensive for what you’re getting but the staff was great

Great event space! We had our annual soccer banquet at Mooonshine and it was fantastic! Victor and the crew at moonshine worked extra hard to make sure the event was a remarkable end of season party, bringing the season to a memorable finale! Every last detail was covered… appetizers were spot on, the second floor private setting top notch, customized menus adorable, and the food was done to perfection… Absolutely recommend moonshine for any size event.

We had dinner at the Moonshine on a Saturday night, we were surprised by how empty it was. Dinner was good, we had the Painted Hills Bavette and the Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and autumn risotto. It’s very very dark in the restaurant. So dark that two tables around us used the flashlights on their phones to read their menus. I think our waitress was new, as everything was read off of a note card like she was reading lines. But everyone is new at some point. I was disappointed that our $ 8, and $ 10 beers were not even pints. The meal was expensive over all, but good.

We held a dinner to celebrate our son’s Baptism at MoonShine. We cannot say enough great things about Victor and his staff. From the moment we decided to host the event at MoonShine, Victor was helpful, attentive and flexible every step of the way. He was so quick and responsive with our many questions on the weeks leading up to our event. On the day of, the food was fantastic, the service impeccable and the upstairs room where the event was located was just beautiful! We received so many compliments from our guests on how well run the event was, how great the food was and what a wonderful time they had! ALl thanks to Victor and the Moonshine Modern Supper Club staff! Many thanks again! Danielle & Bobby Acampora

I’ve seen more personality in a Marshawn Lynch press conference. The pizza was better than average, but the service was robotic, and the managers hovered and didn’t really do much but grumble. Prices are reasonable for the area, and it’s convenient enough to potentially try again for a quiet night. A very quiet night…

Looks fancy with modern décor and lighting. Always crowded in the evenings with 30 – 50 somethings dressed up to nines. Food was forgettable and drinks were good but pricey. Server was not particularly friendly. Will not return.

Great hangout spot for a Friday /Saturday evening. Extremely friendly staff. Pretty huge bar area with a few table-chairs behind and plush yellow chairs facing the street, to choose from depending on your mood. There another 2-floor section that serves amazing food couple with impressive wine selections. I came here one New Years for a pre-fix dinner & drinks and we had a great time !

We were looking for somewhat quiet place to talk and have a drink, post dinner, and stumbled into Moonshine. I’d been there a few times for after work cocktails and it was always loud, crowded and not the best place to just chill mid week. To my surprise, the ambient music was perfect, service was outstanding and Heather(our bartender) made of the best Old Fashions I’ve ever had. Bravo zulu to her. She took meticulous care to muddle cherries, drain out the pulp as to allow for more bourbon goodness. Perfectly balanced drink, sweet but not too sweet. Normally, I’d have an Angel’s Envy rye but they were out. So, instead she recommended Eagle’s Rare, a 10 year old bourbon. WOW! I think I found a new discovery. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay more than an hour but you can rest assured that I’ll be back. Perfect mid week place to relax, have a drink and a conversation. Most places turn up the volume too much. Fine for Friday nights and weekends but nice to find an upscale bar. I like the fact that they have a separate dining area too.

The Moonshine Plateaux from the bar menu. The 3 meat &3 cheese plate went perfect with some beer or wine. The meat & cheese was fresh with a perfect amount of salt. Great selection on the menu!

Walked into the lounge around 10:30pm on a Friday night without a reservation. It was moderately packed and we were able to be seated immediately. Nice ambiance, a lot of wine selections and a few meal/appetizer options. Had the Pinot noir and artichoke spinach dip with fried pita. Nice crowd, good music. Had a good experience. Definitely worth trying.

We recently held our wedding on the second floor of Moonshine, our expectations were completely exceeded. My now husband and I had visited a few times for dinner/drinks and loved the food and service. From the time we initially booked, Victor had been nothing but accommodating and provided us with everything we asked for. The night of our event, Patrick handled our wedding and again we had not one single complaint. He made sure everything ran smoothly. Our bartender Nicole was completely equipped to handle our guests, and the drinks were amazing and always available. The food that night was incredible, we received rave reviews from our guests. I would encourage anyone looking for a venue for a wedding or party to seriously consider Moonshine.

We hosted a joint birthday and graduation party upstairs in the loft which also has an outdoor area. It’s industrial feel was a cool setting for a 25-year-old ‘s birthday and a college graduation party rolled into one. Wait staff was superb, anticipating every request. Food was delish! I can’t wait to have another party there! Victor was a pleasure to work with and helped me at every turn. Thank you Moonshine! We will be back soon!

Lovely place to have a celebratory birthday lunch for 30+ people! The indoor/outdoor seating is great, especially on a sunny day like today. Our two waitresses were both extremely courteous and attentive. The appetizers took a while to come out, but after that it was smooth sailing and every course was well-timed. I started with the deconstructed everything bagel — bagel chips, salmon tartare, cream cheese, and greens. I’m not a huge tartare fan, but according to others, it was excellent. I loved the everything bagel seasoning, too. My entrée was the risotto with forest mushrooms, pistachios, and gorgonzola: TODIEFOR. Admittedly, the gorgonzola built to be a bit too sharp by the last few bites, but it was still amazing. Rich, creamy, and perfectly portioned. The chocolate mousse wasn’t sweet enough for my taste, so I traded with my dad and had the key lime cheesecake. Really nice flavor, texture, and presentation, though I couldn’t taste any ginger in the blueberry sauce. Notes on other dishes I sampled: the duck egg salad was good, but went light on the cracklins and heavy on the pistachios; yummy eggs benny; juicy steak; delicious filling in the crepes. Well done, Moonshine!

Saturday I was headed to Moonshine for what I thought was a few drinks with a friend and I showed up for a big surprise– I went upstairs, which has a really nice private area with an outside terrace and was welcomed by 50 of my closet friends and family while my boyfriend proposed to me! The staff was amazing and so attentive the entire night. My boyfriend ordered passed appetizers and they were delicious! Angus burgers, truffled potatoes, shrimp tempura, beef Wellington, tuna tartar and they were all Wonderful!!! My friends and family are still talking about the food! If you ever need to have a special event this is the place to go! They have great space upstairs and a bar upstairs so they aren’t running up and down to get you drinks. We can’t wait to go back soon for an intimate dinner! Thank you to Victor and the staff for creating such a special night for us. It was amazing!

After seeing Cinderella at the movie theater and eating a ton of secretly stashed munchies, the Three Witches(my sis-in-law Bianca J., soon-to-be-sis-in-law Tess T., and I) descended upon Moonshine Modern Supper Club this Wednesday around 7pm without a reservation and were seated immediately. We parked behind the restaurant in a free lot accessible from Taylor St… and YES, we can eat, then eat some more. I ordered a well-balanced and sufficiently gingery Ginger Sidecar in a glass rimmed with cane sugar. Mmmmm! For my entrée, I had the House Made Ricotta Gnocchi sized on the bigger side with savory pulled duck, chestnuts, apples, cauliflower, and currants, in a warm butter-based sauce. Very tasty and fitting for the windy day. Bianca let me try some of her Forest Mushroom Ravioli with white shrimp, arugula, onions, and gorgonzola cream sauce, and it really DID taste like a foresty feast. For dessert, I was served a super generous portion of Dark Chocolate Mousse and tried some of Bianca’s Key Lime Cheesecake. The very chocolately mousse was great for sharing while the cheesecake could have used a lot more lime, but was otherwise good. I look forward to dining here again, brooms optional, especially as the weather warms up.

I’ve only been for brunch but thought the food was good and the service was attentive. The basket of muffins they give are a nice touch and very tasty. Brunch is $ 20 for a two course meal, $ 30 if you choose to do the endless bubbles. I ordered the ‘egg in a hole’ which I really enjoyed for my first course, and the rum raisin french toast for my main course, which was very pretty to look at, but just okay. Overall I would go back and would like to try their dinner as well.

Had dinner there last night and thought it was quite good. Started off on kind of a downer note because we were seated at a table between the kitchen and the bathroom. Fortunately, the layout of the restaurant didn’t really negatively affect our dining experience and we were fairly well isolated from any commotion. We ordered a couple of drinks, salmon and the risotto which were all excellent. The restaurant itself is quite visually striking. Lighting is dim, tables well situated and music was excellent. Also worth mentioning was our server, Bruna. What a doll! She was attentive, efficient and way cool. Will definitely ask for her the next time we stop by. You should, too. I am really trying to diversify my dining choices. I’ve been told that I’m a creature of habit and want to break out of that. Doing so involves delving deeper into towns with solid dining choices like Millburn. My journey began last night with a nice option. I can easily see putting Moonshine into our regular dining rotation. Definitely worth a try, especially if there’s still a risotto on the menu… Mmmmmmmm
