Beware they changed a menu option from Baked pork chop over spaghetti to Baked Spaghetti with Pork Chop Meat Sauce. Barely any pork and they give you less for the same price. No warning just being cheap. I used to like them but i’d recommend another place.

Always a great place to fill up with Hong Kong classics. Thank you for being here in the bay area.

Stay away, just returned from lunch Mongolian Beef over rice. Where’s the beef, really where’s the beef. large dish of rice with six paper thin pieces of meet and a bit of sauce. Good service from Cindy. Half way though my rice three women started cleaning the floors with a mop and lysol and left the mop near my table to smell. There have to be at least two dozen Chinese restaurants in a four block radius Do YOURSELF A FAVORANDDON’T COMEHERE. Oh and you will pay around $ 12.00/ with tip for your plate of white rice.

Went back to eat here again and hoping that they can provide the same good food that I had the ‘1st time here but I can tell u this again if u happen to eat at a place and the food is at your level of acceptances do not I say do not go back for a 2nd time because chinese restaurant jst can’t keet there quality consistence. On Sunday morning 5÷15÷2016 went their for a quick lunch order the HK style sparerib over steam rice and my old lady order the singapore style stir fry rice noodle. and salt and pepper calamari. well my HK style was’nt even close to HK style I don’t really know which HK r they talking about but it taste like food from safeway china express but worst. ribs was so blend and basically there were no taste to it and all the veggies that came along with the dish was’nt even cooked at all. mind as well just bring out a raw onion and bell pepper and say here eat this. the steam rice was so shity is just like I would not feed this shit to my dog. For my wifes dish it was basically dry up noodle with curry powder really though that they can be my place to go to for HK style food but I guess they can be HK style my not on this planet. also the most simple dist salt and peper deep fry calamari they should just rename that to no salt and pepper deep steam calamari. because it was basically just like what I discribe there was no salt and pepper flavor and itsd not even deep fry at all. looks and taste like steam calamari with a thick ass batter. I am just so disappointed. How do these people even eat in a shit hole like this.

Unique place in that there are Dish TVs in each booth and has a mixed Asian/European cuisine. Overall food was good but a bit pricy. Had bitter melon and beef chow fun(just put meat and dice over noodles instead of mixing all together), deep fried tofu(very good), and steak. Steak was delivered 15 minutes after other dishes and vegetables were cold. Not a bad place to go if you have kids or want to watch sports while eating.

I already come here often. Today they started selling my favorite Chinese donut: cow tongue pastry. Waitress told me the chefs from Xing long came over. It all makes sense now.

Good HK food but service can be really slow, even when half empty! Not the best place to go before a flight.

Place is clean and that is all I can say. Set breakfast does not include drink, it’s unusual for HK café in the area. HK milk tea is lukewarm and the bacon is cold. Do yourself a favor and go to Broadway Bistro for breakfast.

Lots of rice and noodles but very little meat. Flavors run along the blander side. Prices were average for a HK café.

Decent HK café food with plenty of seating and excellent service. Our table ordered minced beef with egg on rice, shrimp and scrambled egg on rice, won ton soup, clay pot eggplant and some greens with garlic sauce. The veggies were $ 11 — good thing they were tasty! Our server also shared that they don’t use powders for their drinks and that particular night made fresh black sesame soup. It was delicious! Parking can be tough on Broadway, even late at night, so allot time for that. Also, close to Millbrae BART and SFO, so a good option for meet ups and late night hang outs.

I was craving for some Chinese food on a Tuesday, apparently, the good chinese restaurant around the Millbrae Bart Station are closed on Tuesday. Therefore, i settled for this chinese restaurant and ordered to-go. I ordered a rice noodle dish but it was very very bland. I also got the Hainan Chicken rice but it barely have any chicken. I was a bit disappointed with the food and I thought my HK style ice tea would hit the spot. But no, the ice tea was just alright, it tastes a bit different. This restaurant does take credit cards. Parking: There are street parking and metered parking

A little disappointed with the baked pork chop over spaghetti since the pork chop was overcooked. Also got the salt and pepper chicken wings, which they got wrong and made the lemongrass wings and decided to add salt and pepper on top of them. The half coffee half milk tea was bland. Two stars for having convenient parking, no wait, and The 49ers playing right at our table.

My go to spot with the family before or after any business trip where it’s close to a meal time. What we usually get and the kids love: Roti Prata Minced Beef over rice with a fried egg Satay Sauce and Egg Chow Fun Plenty of space. Casual.

TL;DR — Pricey, good service, aggressive flies, small plates, and food is not that good. Super disappointed in this place. Service was great. Pricey items. Place is very spacious. There’s a TV with digital channels if you sat by a wall with an outlet. Looks clean enough… However, there were flies constantly hawking me and my food. So annoying. I tried the baked spaghetti with fish and corn in cream sauce $ 10.95. If it’s this expensive, I’m expecting a lot. Boy, was I disappointed. The plate was small. The fish tasted fine. The sauce was bland. There was very little corn. I think the best part was the cheese… Overall, I felt that this wasn’t worth it.

One of the benefits of not getting a rental car at SFO is the ability to dine at restaurants around the Millbrae station while waiting for the southbound Caltrain. I had a 50-minute layover and Café Salina is only a 3-minute walk away. Why not? It’s late at night around 10ish and the restaurant is pretty empty, which is a good sign as I can get one-to-one service. My iPhone was dying so I requested to sit at a table to charge my phone. It turns out each of the tables«upstairs(well its only 3 steps)» has a outlet and a personal TV. Hey it’s better than the 757 I just spent 5+ hours from ATL, kudos. Ok let’s get back to the topic. As a Hongkonger, milk tea is a must-try every time I go to Cantonese restaurants. This one passed the authenticity test. The server asked me if I wanted it with condensed milk. «Hell yeah!» That’s the trick. No sugar needed after that. My entrée was Baked Creamy Seafood with Rice. You can choose spaghetti or rice btw. As expected with baked dishes, it took them 20 minutes to prepare, so by the time it arrives, it’s already 10:40. It is worth the wait as it tasted just like the Hong Kong style Western food I had on the ground floor of my apartment complex in HK15 years ago. It’s a little too hot to finish it in 10 minutes, so I had to ask for a box at 10:48. I ordered a Black Sticky Rice dessert to have it on the go(Notice: No eating and drinking allowed on Caltrain!). Umm. it tasted a little burnt so it was the only disappointment. Go somewhere else for desserts.

The restaurant is super spacious but there aren’t very many customers when I go which is why I don’t understand why the service is so slow — it’s not like they have a lot of other customers to attend to. When we went, we had to drop my brother off at the airport so we thought we could get something quick to eat here. My family and I each ordered our own individual dish, but each dish came one at a time. By the time my dad was finished eating food, we still had not gotten our food — which is really inconvenient because we all had to sit there and watch the other person eat while we had to wait for our food to still come. My mom ordered the hainan chicken with rice because it is a simple dish. It’s not like they start cooking the chicken right when she orders, so all they had to do was plate the rice and the chicken, but that took a really long time and she was the last person to get her order. She had to ask a waitress about her food before the waitress ran back to the kitchen to plate the rice and chicken. They also used plain white rice for the dish when it is usually supposed to have some sort of flavoring from the chicken. As for me, I had the chicken liver and gizzard phở. It was pretty good. There was a lot of noodle though and some of the liver was pink inside, which I’m not sure is okay or not.

The dishes were a bit bland in my opinion, and the portions were good. We ordered: — Wonton noodle soup with flat noodles: I didn’t eat any of the wontons, but the noodles were pretty average. The soup was pretty flavorful I guess. Price was around $ 6.50 I think. — Beef chow fun: This was pretty bland and wet(not sure from oil or from water; probably the former though). There were a lot of bean sprouts, not a lot of meat, and enough noodles. $ 8.95 — Meat with clay pot rice: I’m not sure how to say this in English, but my dad really likes eating this wherever they have it. There were generous portions of meat(a lot more meat than other places that I’ve had this dish) and steamed vegetables, and the rice was pretty good. They just gave us soy sauce though, which is less tasty than the actual sauce we’re supposed to get. It was good, but also really expensive at $ 15.95. The setting is nice. There’s nice furniture and there are monitors at all the 2-people tables, which I found interesting. The service wasn’t too good, as there were very few waiters around if you wanted to ask for something. I probably wouldn’t choose to come back here. 3 people $ 40 post-tax post-tip is a bit pricey for the amount of food we got(we usually eat this sort of food in Oakland and these dishes would be around $ 30 after tax and tip). Acceptable Cantonese food though I guess, good setting, and average service.

Came by for breakfast the other day and was surprised that Café Salina was mostly empty, with only 2 tables during the breakfast hours. Café Salina is located towards Millbrae Ave on Broadway. Hong Kong Milk Tea — Not included with Breakfast — Flavor was pretty strong. Decent tea. Satay Beef Nissin Ramen — Satay Beef quality was decent. Flavoring was on the strong side. — Nissian Ramen made the world of difference compared to the knock-offs! Shanghai Dumplings — Surprisingly decent. According to the waitress, they make these in-house! ~$ 15/person after tax and tip for breakfast.

Good hong kong quality food! Good assortment of noodles, soups, rice plates, and other dishes. The familiar hoi Nam chicken rice was tasty especially with their ginger and green onion sauce. Their egg noodles with the won tons are also good! It was a little bit small in size but enough. Ah, and service was good with very nice, friendly waitresses!
