We have done this hike about 6 times over the years. They start off at the Pan Toll Ranger Station, then heading to the Mt. Tamalpais Amphitheater. There you will sit and relax, get some stories. It’s a nice 2+ mile hike with awesome views of the bay area. Also, the group leader Rob has been doing this hike for about 19 years. Rob does a great job with tons of stories about the wild life, Indians, Music & stars. BTW, he is a Mt. Tamalpais Interpretive Association(MTIA) volunteer. The hikes are close to the full moon and are NOT year round. I think they are from April — Oct. Check the website for current updated information.
