The pizza we ordered was great! Way bigger than most pizza places offer for the price. Big doughy crust if that is your thing. So 4 stars for making the titular menu item really well. The wings on the other hand were a disaster. I think they are those pre-flavored ones that are just fried quickly. No sauce added or anything. And they had that«chickeny» smell you get from freezer burnt wings. Disappointing. Will definitely continue to get pizza from there. Will never order wings again.

I don’t know why this place gets such bad reviews. I think the pizza is Sooo good. And I’m pretty picky.

The pizza is delicious and it is a nice alternative to all the Greek style pizza joints in the area. Not a huge fan of the appetizers(buffalo fingers, wings, mozzarella sticks), but the pizza itself more than makes up for the apps. Yesterday I had placed an order for a couple pizzas, a couple apps, and a sub. Upon pickup it was realized they had gotten one of the toppings on one of the pizzas wrong. Not only did they fix this problem in a very timely manner, but they also offered me a free dessert to make up for the confusion. I will definitely be ordering pizza from here regularly.

I was excited to try the gluten free crust pizza, so we went in last night. We tried the summer salad pizza and margharita pizza on GF crusts, and while the crust was absolutely fine, I was left wanting on the toppings. The summer salad is supposed to be a white pizza, but there was red sauce anyway, which was tasteless as were the chopped tomatoes. Then, inexplicably, the margharita pizza, also a white pizza had red sauce, but it honestly tasted like tomato purée. The mozzarella tasted like it was low sodium, and the basil leaves, while there, were ripped into little pieces. We were so hungry, we ate them anyway, but man, I just wanted to dump salt on everything because they lacked any sort of flavor. I’ll give Sal’s another chance but with a more basic pizza and because I remember getting their pizzas fondly when I lived in North Andover. I really want them to be good.

My family and I have been going there for 2 ½ years. Good pizza. They changed their closing time from 9 to 8 a while back. I went in a few weeks back at 7:47 to order 3 pizzas for my family and was told the oven was already turned off. I asked why they say they are open until 8 and are already closed. A young women in the customer section with two small children identified herself as the assistant manager and asked me to stop harassing her employees. She then told me my attitude sucked and I need to immediately leave. I asked for the owners name and they refused. I called the corporate office the next day and told it was a franchise store and they would have the owner call me. To this day I have not heard from them. Will never return.

Other than the size of the pizzas, there’s nothing great about Sals. The pizza is subpar and far too bland. More crust than anything else.

Went here for a quick bite to bring back to work. I ordered a salad and a slice of cheese pizza. They were busy so a wait was to be expected what wasn’t expected was green mold on my pita bread. At that point I was already back at work and decided to trek back to Sal’s. The mananger(I assume) blamed the bakery and simply refunded me for just the salad, offering nothing more when I grumbled about my now cold pizza. Anywhere else would have refunded the entire meal and offered me hot pizza!

My favorite pizza place. The office that I work at always orders from here. I really enjoy the different varieties of toppings and the people that work here are all very nice and personable.

Our Co. does lunch and learn sessions alot, so our go-to place is Sal’s. They deliver, it is always good and the staff loves it. They will cut them into as many slices as you want., 8,10, or 12 Which is helpful for me when we have a LARGE group. They provide plates if needed and are always on time.(I usually order a day in advance) I highly recommend this place. I really like their barbeque chicken pizza. Yum.

one of the better pizza places around — not great — just better than most of the crap that passes for pizza in this area. The subs are good, but the pizza’s crust is a bit thick for my taste.

Sorry Sal’s, you were my favorite place for pizza for so long, but you’ve done me wrong twice. I can’t say you’re my first choice anymore. One more strike and you’re done for good. Still gets 3 stars because the pizza was amazing before my last 2 visits. Strike 1: I ordered a large cheese for takeout. I got there right when my pizza should have been fresh out of the oven. Problem is, someone ordered a large cheese for takeout before me. Apparently, he was # 32 and I was # 40(probably a difference of 20 – 30 minutes), and they gave him my pizza when he showed up. The manager told the girl at the counter to give me #32, so I was rewarded with old pizza. Strike 2: The gf and I head in for a slice one Saturday night. Apparently, they make their slices at like 2 in the afternoon, and serve you those same slices if you come in at 7. We got slices of buffalo chicken, and the pizza had been sitting out so long that it was literally inedible. I had to wait forever to get my money back because some douchebag was chatting the manager’s ear off about some sort of shady business deal. For literally 15 minutes I waited watching them. The kid working the counter apparently didn’t have the courtesy or common sense to let the manager know that there was an unhappy customer waiting. At least he gave me a refund, but I was hugely disappointed that they would serve slices that old and then make me sit there forever. Take some pride in your food! That was several months ago, and I haven’t been back since.

I don’t understand the fuss evident by the crowds and wait times. The pizza is simply big. Not good. Not special in any way. In fact, even though the pizza is big, the place makes up for the cost by making the crust huge. We have ordered a few times and the crust all around the pizza was 2 – 3 inches wide. When all is said and done the actual amount of cheese and sauce seems like it would be appropriate for a normal large pizza. To make it worse, the operations and attitude of the staff are horrible. Rudeness on the phone. Ignoring people as they wait to pick-up. No sense of operational efficiency in the way the tiny pizza making station is set-up. Having worked in kitchens for many years, there is no way this place should be as slow as they are getting food in and out of the oven.

I do not like Sal’s. The pizza’s are overpriced and the quality is low. The $ 5.00 pizza’s at Dominos are way better. Who cares how big the slice is if it’s cardboard.

After trying multiple pizza places in the metro west this has become my go-to spot. I usually opt for take out, but there is counter service available. On a couple occassions the quality of the pizza has been slightly off(undercooked), but generally you can expect a very good pizza at a great price.

The food here is good. The only risk with the pizza is its easy to get a stale slice, they apparently have no problem serving you a 5 hr old slice. Someone had said something that I agree with, they always seem to have their B team working.

Sal’s in Milford staff has turned over number of times since it’s opening. They seem to have the B team on during the week which have a hard time handling multiple orders. The pizza is great provided do not overload it with toppings. All and all the basic cheese pizza for that size and 10 bucks can’t be beat.

My bad for not calling ahead on a Friday during Lent! Quoted wait of 30 minutes was really 40(I’ll live) and the entire time I was there, at least 15 people were waiting for pizzas. Busy night. The older gentleman taking orders was very nice, we even chatted about our pup. Those who know me know that I could do this forever… :) We stick with the basic large cheese. It’s huge, 19″ around and 3 pounds. Thing is, it’s not a heavy pizza whatsoever. Good sauce, crispy crust(I ask for a lil well done) and just the right amount of cheese. Great for a midnite snack. I don’t think their Tiramisu is homemade, but it is DELISH! Comes individually boxed and wrapped in tissue paper so it doesn’t dry out. One of the marscapone layers is almost an inch thick… Heaven. Pizza & Tiramisu: $ 12.75 Few things: Only two sizes: Small(almost TOO small), and Large(HUGE) Their slice of pizza is ONEQUARTER of the large, different toppings available They close at EIGHT O’CLOCK! Hours above are wrong. WTF!?!

Sal’s has never been busy when I’ve gone and the place is solid. Plus they have a huge by the slice selection(especially at lunch). I’d give ‘em five stars if they delivered.

So, I’ve had Sal’s before from other locations, and enjoyed it, this location is new. I called tonight to try to order some food to nosh while watching the Pats game. I called knowing full well that many other folks would be doing the same thing. I dial the number(which is a cool phone number, how’d they get the 1234 number? awesomeness), and a woman answers: Sal’s: Good evening, Sal’s Pizza, can you hold for a second? me: Sure [a slight pause] Sal’s: Thanks for holding, how can I help you? me: I’d like to place an order for takeout. Sal’s: Just to let you know that the wait is currently 50 minutes. me: Oh, that’s ok. Sal’s: Thank you. *hangs up on me* Umm, when I said that’s ok, I meant I was ok with the wait and still wanted to order. She took it to mean that oh, ok, nevermind. But I know they’re busy, and mistakes happen. I call the people for whom I was ordering food to make sure we still wanted to order here. The consensus is yes. So, I call back. Sal’s: Sal’s pizza. me: I’d like to place an order for takeout. Sal’s: Before you order, let me tell you that the wait is currently 55 minutes. me: That’s fine. Sal’s: Ok, can you hold for a minute, I just need to pull something out of the oven. me: Ok. [Sal’s employee puts the phone down, so I can hear people talking, customers paying, orders are coming up, etc.] I waited 8 minutes or so listening to the pizza place background noise before I hung up. I get that they’re busy, but please try not to forget when someone calls to order and you put them on hold. By the time I hung up, it had been about 20 minutes since I placed the first call. Had the first phone call gone correctly, my food would have been almost on its way into the oven. I gave up after that. We decided to go somewhere else. I’ll definitely give this Sal’s another chance, but they’ve got 2 strikes against them now.
