I have mixed reviews. The chicken is tasty, though their food is over-priced, and their popcorn shrimp is delicious, as are their biscuits. The red beans and rice would be great, but can you believe, the rice is Minute Rice!!! It has that bumpy, Minute Rice texture that is off-putting! It’s too bad they can’t cook real rice.

I normally don’t review fast food places but I felt I had to here. The people were so nice and friendly. I went through at 9.48 and even that late my chicken strip were nice and crunchy. My order was correct and I received 2 sauces.

Not great, but a huge step up from the Sonic up the street. I got the spicy chicken tenders. A little too crispy for my taste, but the chicken was good and definitely quite spicy. Buttermilk biscuit was delicious. The Cajun fries tasted either refried or cooked in dirty oil, yuck. I probably wouldn’t return here, but it’s okay for a quick, convenient meal.

Average at best. For a new restaurant I found it dirty and unorganized. I’d stick to KFC for fried chicken

Love the spicy fried chicken and bisquits. The mash potatoes are pretty damn good too! Right off the exit off 95.

C’mon, one star?! Popeye’s is some great, spicy, crunchy, juicy fast food fried chicken. The sides are tasty too. Soooo much better than KFC or any of the myriad clones you find in the inner city.

Just tried to buy lunch. They wanted to charge for a second dipping sauce. Last time they see me. What’s next rationing the napkins? Got a yen for nuggets go to McD’s. Cost less and they will give you a second sauce at no charge.

The Chicken is good. So I went into this place wanting chicken and I had my puter with me. So I asked the owner if the place had wifi and he said yes. So I pulled out the pc and tried to log on but I needed the pass word. So my most sig-nif-Icant other went to the counter and asked for the pass word and was told that«only the owner knows the pass word and he was in his office doing some paper work and couldn’t be disturbed». I got up and went to the counter and asked for the manager to get the pass word and the manager told me that only owners and certain staff have access the the wifi and she can’t give me the password and she was a little bit nasty about it. Then when I told her that I was going to Unilocal her business she told me go right ahead and make sure I get all of the spelling right and correct. So I told her that«I have a college education and I’ll get all the spelling correct» and she got even more nasty and I told her off a little. When I saw the owner at the counter I spoke to him and told him about his manager and he apoligized for her behavior and said that he would talk to her and his employees about his policy of letting any paying customer use the wifi service of his business FREE. My suggestion; stick to the chicken and go someplace else for your hot spot, wifi fix. And don’t let the«manager» get ya down with her nasty self. After all it isn’t her business that she’s hurting… it’s the owners.
