Kathy’s Cookies was a great find 6 years ago, we use to live right across the street and went there all the time. Every time we had company over we would always get are desert at Kathy’s and they too loved them. My mom and my wife and I order cookie every year at Christmas from Kathy’s and lemon bars. Kathy’s Cookies has the BEST cupcakes, cookies, cakes, and the lemon bars are to die for. Their frosting is just like mom use to make REALLY good. We all hope she never goes out of business you just can’t find baked goods like this anymore truly the best, you all have to try it and the help and Kathy are SO nice! Kathy’s Cookies is tuck away at 252 Melba St. Milford, CT.

I want to support local but so far all I have tried from here are tasteless– they sell this product at Café Atlantique so maybe the items have been hanging around awhile and are stale? I love Café Atlantique for my coffee and also crepes but sometimes I want a cookie, always hard and tasteless– I’ve tried 3 different kinds and all the same result — and there seems to be a lot of fake color in the cupcakes, some of the biscotti is covered with thick white frosting which is also a turn off

I’m a serious baker so I am very particular about baked goods I buy. Everything I tried at Kathy’s cookies is fantastic! You can tell she uses quality ingredients and bakes fresh every day. I’ve tried the cookies, cupcakes and biscotti. You’d be surprised how many bakeries use mixes and freeze items. Not so at Kathy’s. It’s so great when you can find a place that takes pride in their food and doesn’t compromise. I’ll keep coming back. 5 stars for Kathy’s!

Very disappointing. I went there on the strength of the other reviews here. I had a lemon truffle: funny aftertaste LOSETHEFOODCOLORING! I like my chocolate chip cookie crunchy, not soft. Also funny aftertaste.

I’ve tried various types of cookies and cupcakes from Kathy’s and all were delicious! The cookies are HUGE so you are definitely getting your money’s worth. The cupcakes are also really good size and she has tons of different flavors. Almost too many to choose from that it was hard to make a decision! The frosting was a little on the sweet side, which I enjoy though I know some people might have gripes about that. I don’t partiically like biscotti, but if you are a biscotti lover, this is the place to go! She has tons of different flavors here. I live close to the shop so it may be difficult to stay away now that I know so many delcious baked good are near by! She also sells to some local shops and grocery stores around town so you can get your Kathy fix all over Milford.

It is so convenient living in a neighborhood with a cookie bakery. The incredible toffee chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. Crispy and delicious

While on vacation in milford we stumbled upon this place while shopping at the liquor store. The staff is very helpful and the cookies, muffins and biscotti are out of this world warm and very fresh. a must try

As a self-proclaimed cupcake connoisseur, these take the cake. Chocolate, vanilla, pumpkin, red velvet, orange creamsicle, coconut, raspberry, and many many more… the only cupcake war that goes on here is whether to get one dozen or two.

The cookies here are fresh, warm, and really freaking big. Biscotto done perfectly. They provide pastries and such to local places(See below) The smell when you enter is awesome. That’s the first sign that whatever sacrifice of time or distance you made to be here was worth it. They always seem to be back in the kitchen working when you enter this really small store, and you hear a friendly disembodied voice shout from beyond, «What can I get for ya?». Lots of parking. Hidden in the middle of a forgotten 1960’s era strip mall that is valiantly hanging on 50 years later. Right between a laundromat and a package store in a safe well-lit residential area. There’s a subliminal camaraderie with fellow customers — an insider, knowing nod and grin because you’re all there for the same reasons: Quality product and the hope that she somehow doesn’t outgrow this place but yet flourishes nonetheless. In my case I’m also hoping the person in line ahead of me won’t buy the last one of whatever I came in for. The fact that they always seem to be on the verge of running out of something might be a reason I want it even more. Every single time I leave with a good feeling that I’ve made the right choice. Buying local is obviously cool, but more importantly(selfishly) I’m getting my money’s worth. That’s a good thing and I hope she does well. Check the website for alternate locations to buy cookies in case they’re closed. Café Atlantique in downtown Milford sells her stuff on weekends if you really need a fix.

1st off this place has moved to Melba St in Milford, CT. but most important if you want one of the best cookies you will ever taste this is the place. The oatmeal raisin are my husbands favorite but he(as I do) likes them all. My favorite are the lemon cookies with the white chocolate drizzle. I was not a lemon fan ATALL until I tried Kathy’s and believe me they are awesome. Worth the trip from anywhere but please call first to be sure Kathy is in.
