Another good visit the pizza we ordered was great. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is do to the issues regarding sanitation. At one point a server dropped straws on the floor and picked them up and put them back on the counter. They should have discarded the straws. Another time a different server wiped down the seats of chairs and then proceeded to then wipe the table top down with the same paper towel. It should have been done in reverse order. The food is great but that just makes one WONDER

This was great pizza! It was a chewy and crispy thinnish crust, and was exactly what we were expecting as our first try of a «New Haven style» pizza. We tried two pizzas. One was a mix of sausage, pepperoni, bacon and meatballs — the toppings were spread properly and didn’t weigh down the crust like one might expect. The other pizza was topped with sausage, jalapeño and onion — those flavors really complemented each other.
The sausage on the pizzas deserves its own mention, as it might be the best sausage I’ve had on pizza. Its seasoning and texture was perfect. We will definitely visit this establishment in the future.

Worst pizza in Milford. I would eat at Bella Napoli before I ate here again. We went in at about 8 on a Sunday. The rudeness of the «waitstaff» (14 year old girls) a huge turn off. They didn’t even ask once if our food was ok or if we needed a drink refill. Our food was slammed down on the table like they were in some type of rush. The pizza. well I’ve never been served raw bacon on a pizza before last night. So disgusting. Their sauce is also nasty. Tastes like prego from a jar. Also had a Caesar salad. Nothing special. I will not be giving this place my business ever again. There are 100 better options in Milford.

So sad that we have to give 2 stars bc all of the other reviews are so positive. The pizza was not good at all. It was a slow day so we probably didn’t get fresh pizza. Also, the veggie toppings tasted like canned vegetables. Nice service and friendly staff but food quality was very low.

Love Jimmy’s. Quickly adopted as the local pizza spot. Some of the best I’ve had around!!! I would suggest this to anyone from the area of out of state. Satisfaction guaranteed!

I go here at least once a week. Typically order the Sue with sauce. They have the best crust I’ve ever run across. Fantastic ingredients. Hated the Buffalo pizza the first time I tried this place but the crust was so good I came back and ordered something I’m more used to and now I’m hooked on this place. Definitely worth the stop.

Pizza is great… The chicken Parm Grinder is the bomb ! I needed dough for fried dough at my daughters birthday. I order it ahead of time and it was reasonable priced. Made awesome fried dough for the family… Keep up the great job Jimmys!

Jimmy’s is my favorite pizza place in Milford and maybe one of my all time favorite pizza places. It’s definitely on par with or better than most of the places in New Haven. So many delicious options, you really can’t go wrong here.

I’ve decided give and update because even though i’m not a die hard jimmy’s fan, I have been here a few times in the past months out of convenience and a friend’s preference to come here for lunch. I am not changing my stance on the pizza, but their subs are surprisingly quite good. I have had the chicken parm sub, meatball sub, and steak and cheese sub. All three were excellent.

As a 15 year Milford resident, Jimmy’s Apizza is the best pizza in town. I usually don’t try much of their other menu options because I am getting pizza– it’s thin crust in the best New Haven tradition. I believe it’s Milford’s only pie that can hold it’s own versus Pepe’s, Sal’s and Modern pizzerias in New Haven — that’s strong praise, trust me. Service is good if not friendly and casual but you come to Jimmy’s for their consistently good pizza.

Sets the bar in Milford. Nothing better. Sure there’s a long wait, but that’s what happens when you’ve built a reputation of being the best.
Only thing close to it would be some of the best in New Haven.

We love pizza from Jimmy’s. We order pizza here probably once a month or so and have turned several friends into Jimmy’s fans as well.
The pizza is always crisp and never soggy. The toppings are plentiful and evenly distributed. Our favorite (compromise) order is a hawaiian style bacon and pineapple pie with red sauce. It’s sweet, salty and so yummy. The sauce is lovely, not heavy with spices or filler, just a nice tomato sauce, they probably make it themselves. The last time I picked up a pie, I asked where they procure their delicious sausage and I was told they make it. Sure enough, a gentleman was actually mixing meat and spices in the machine and I saw it being extruded.
The place is simple, no fancy frills, but they serve great food and do it with smiles. We are fans and recommend it highly, more than any other pizza joint in the region.

Great food. I haven’t eaten in, but I bet it’s just as good as the take out. I called in and my food was ready within 20 minutes. The people that work there are very friendly and wait time on pick up is maybe a minute or two. The pizza here is better then any chain place.

We ordered a large M&M (½ mushroom ½ meatball) to go last night and it was ready in 15 minutes. The pie was delicious. Just the right amount of toppings including a tasty sweet sauce, not too much cheese and a nice medium thin and bubbly crust. The two brothers make the pies right there at the pick up counter and are always working hard. A very pleasant staff ready to serve await their customers. Pizza is available at almost every corner so you have to be good to compete. I recommend Jimmy’s to locals all the time. An added plus is that they are Johnson Building Band fans!

You can either come here for the dine-​in or the take out. The dine-​in section was pretty crowded since Santa was in that day, haha. So, we went to the take-​out section and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
You get to talk to the guy making the pizza, watch some TV and have a drink as you wait for your order to come out. We got the sausage, jalapeño, onion and mozzarella special. It came out piping hot and was delicious & spicy!!! Yummmmmy: D
