The best pizza in Milford. True statement. In my opinion, the best pizza in CT so far, the pizza is delicious the other options as well. First off all try one slice of cheese. It’s a good way to compare with other pizza places.

Ordered one medium specialty pizza and one medium build your own pizza(with clams, bacon, and jalapeños) and one stuffed bread with pepperoni and our total came out to $ 59(that’s including a $ 5 tip, so total was $ 54)! Now, for $ 54 dollars, I except to blown away by the food and that is FAR from the case! Highly disappointed and feel ripped off and will never order from here again, even if that means ordering from Dominos, because at least I can get the same food, for less than half the price! I would give 0 stars if I could, but there one redeeming quality was that the stuffed bread was decent. Go figure that the item for $ 5 dollars beats out the«specialty» pizza and the build your own pizza with the«clams».

I stopped in for a slice. It was delicious. Next time I will order a whole pie. No one was rude,

I was trying to find a new pizza spot and after reading the reviews I decided to give this place a shot. Ordered a small pie and garlic bread with cheese. The sauce was soo salty I couldn’t even stand to finish the one and only slice I had.

We moved to CT last year, and have tried 4 different pizza shops in the area. Franco’s, by far, has been our favorite. We order pizza from there almost every Monday(he completes our sentence when we call because he knows us so well by now, haha), and look forward to it each week. Their meatballs are especially tasty, and their pizza has a thin crust(if you like thicker pizza crust, I think you can request it) and great flavor. We highly recommend! Pizza is always hot and ready within 15 minutes. We are hooked, and have yet to find a pizza place in the area that is comparable. Yum-mee. PS: To those commenting that the owner is rude, I have never had this experience with him in the 10+ times we have been there; however, even if he is rude, who cares! He makes the best pizza in the area. I would rather have a rude man that makes exceptional, flawless pizza, than a happy-go-lucky man who makes junk. :)

We get pizza from Franco’s every Friday night. My mom places the order on the train home and pick it up when she gets to Milford. The pizza is excellent — my favorite(and I’ve lived in NYCAND Chicago). The service is quick and friendly. I recommend Franco’s to everyone I talk to. We LOVE Franco’s. ***My profile picture is my happy son with his Franco’s pizza***

Awful!!! While their food is good… the service and attitude is horrific. And they overcharge you and rip you off. I’ve never been to a sketchier establishment. They charge you more than the prices than are on the menu and they never deduct the coupon.

Solid and fresh chicken parm sub. The owner(I assume) is very colorful, gesticulating a lot while talking on the phone to customers about delivery orders(all of whom wanted a pizza at the same time for Halloween, apparently the busiest night of the year for pizza). Next time in Milford, I’ll stop in.

I have been looking for really good pizza delivery in milford, and have been working through Unilocal’s list based on star rating. Wow, was Franco’s rating ever wrong. Pizza was an hour, no estimate from the gentleman who took my order. Delivery guy didn’t even have a pen to sign my receipt. Cold pie, soggy box. I had specifically requested«no extra garlic» on my tomato and basil pie. Guess what? Covered with garlic. I gave two stars for the crust(thin, not doughy). Disappointing but not inedible… Unless you’re allergic to garlic!

The BLT Pizza is absolutely spectacular! Ordered it to try something different awhile back and I have been hooked ever since. Never had a pizza like that before. Definitely a one of a kind find. Pizza is a little on the pricey side, but is worth it as I haven’t had a bad pizza here yet.

I called in a lunch delivery order at 11:30, and read off everybody’s order exactly how they wrote it down, I said, «medium pizza, calzone, manicotti dinner, eggplant parm sandwich, small pizza…» he interrupts me and says«whoa! whoa! Another pizza? You’re all over the place! You have to give me all the pizzas together, all the dinners together. You have pizza here, sandwich here, dinner there.» I asked what’s the difference? He said«it’s confusing.» he kept commenting on how big the order was. I said«it’s a big company» he says, «Yeah I can see that… What else? What else?» And when I kept talking I could hear him groaning like he was annoyed that there was more. UNREAL. I don’t know about everyone else’s food, but the medium garlic, tomato & mozz pie I ordered was nothing special for $ 17.52! Also they sprinkled hot pepper flakes all over it which was an issue as the person I shared my pie with dislikes spicy food. Not sure if it was done intentionally as I gave the guy a little attitude back… But if not intentional, please do NOT add hot pepper flakes! Not everyone enjoys a super spicy pizza at lunch. NEVER going back and apparently from your rude demeanor you don’t need the money or our business.

His pizza is as good as any pizza I have found in Italy and I have had it at over 30 places there. His passion for his food matches his love for his family so remember he is closed on Sundays. Ciao.

I don’t go often because I don’t feel like driving through downtown, but sometimes I get that Franco’s pizza fever and go out of my way to go get myself a large mozzarella and pig out! True thin crust pie with exceptional crust. The sauce and mozzarella have a wonderful flavor and I love that Franco sprinkles oregano on top. If I lived closer that would not be good for me!

We got delivery for the first time and were very happy with the pizza. It’s your classic CT/NY style pie with the right taste and texture. One of the better pizzas around town AND they deliver. We will be ordering again.

NY style pizza. Light. Thin. Crispy crust. Stands up to anything you’ll find in connecticut. They sell slices and offer seating but it’s nothing fancy. This is a take out place — and a good one.

I thought the cheese pizza was pretty average… nothing spectacular. Lunch special is 2 slices and a soda for $ 5.25. The 2 slices were previously cooked and reheated, so that may not be the best way to judge it. My friends had calzones and they looked delicious and both of them commented that they were indeed. I plan to go back and try one for myself. Establishment is small with a few booths, nothing fancy but fine for a quick lunch stop. Conveniently located in the center of Milford. Street parking can be difficult, but there is also a parking lot adjacent to the building.

Judging pizza in CT is a tough deal, everyone has a preference and every pizza place has a couple specialties. Franco’s pizza is great across the board, but its my favorite broccoli and sausage pizza anywhere, which is saying something here in the cradle of pizzadom. Even if broccoli and sausage isnt what you’d normally order for pizza, give it a shot, its awesome. It was never something I thought I’d get hooked on, but its just incredible, fresh or cold from the fridge the next day. Sal’s in Monroe and Franco’s in Milford are the two hidden gems in CT pizza.

The best pizza in Milford, CT. The only issue I have is that I always have to get Extra cheese since a regular cheese pizza to me doesn’t have enough cheese.

Yummy! Excellent thin and crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and perfect cheese. Yes, the toppings are good but superfluous when you are eating such tasty pizza. Quick counter service and comfortable enough to eat a slice or two in the shop. Excellent delivery service. I was pleasantly surprised by the very polite delivery person and my piping hot pizza, received quickly and exactly as ordered.

This is my go-to for NY style pizza in the area. Fresh ingredients, crispy thin crust, excellent. Franco is a character in his own right, and any of those that haven’t checked out his YouTube channel should. What a great personality. My other favorite Milford pizza establishment is Jimmy’s, but they’re more on the New Haven-style side of things. I believe it’s worth visiting both, as their styles are so different. Highly recommended.
