Five Guys Burgers and Fries

I would like to start off saying if you are looking for a place to get a good burger avoid all 5 guys! I have been to a few five guys and was at this one recently. The service is slow and the burgers always suck it is pretty much a 9 $ for a mcdouble McDonald’s sandwich with toppings! Except at McDonald’s you can eat it with your hands at five guys they give out forks and knives because it’s the only way you can eat the burger. The burgers are always smudged and sloppy and need a fork to eat it no matter how many toppings you have. The only reason I have them two stars is because there fries are good and friends portion is great. It’s thirteen dollars for a crappy overpriced burger and alot of good fries. Overall avoid the burgers and buy the fries.

Yes it is a burger joint but the service is exceedingly slow. Very loud dining area with plenty of fries, peanut shells on the dirty floor to give it a unpleasant vibe. Good for loud families and pre teens.

I just had a small cheeseburger here for the first time. Tasted like a Burger King or McDonald’s burger; cheap ingredients. I’ve had better burgers at regular sit-​down restaurants. These were gross!

We placed our order at 5:24 online and was advised it would be ready at 5:31. We arrived at store at 5:37 but had to wait until 6:17 to finally get our order. A wait of 40 minutes when the order is placed and paid for makes no sense. We were trying to save time for a family event. We don’t recommend this restaurant.

I have tried this chain a few times. Sorry but I don’t think it is worth the money. The employees are nice and everything but the food is nothing special. I made sure to grab a few peanuts on the way out to try to make up for what I just paid but it really didn’t help.

Not much to say. All Five Guys feel the same.

5 Guys is well known for their bugers and the amount of fries one gets with an order. We ate there today and as always the food was good. When I go there, I always get a small fry, as they fill the bag anyways, no matter what size youorder… I am mainly writing this because of the staff there. From the girl who took our order to the cook who brought it to our table when my GF got up to go get our order when they called our #, to another employee who passed me and said hi to me. This staff treated us like we were at a 5 star restaurant…

Not happy with this place at all. Got a burger that was still raw and so where the fries. didn’t check it until I got on the highway. Guess I am lucky that I look at my burger as I tooke my first bit. It was not even busy there. I guess now I know why. I guess I am having a soda for lunch today.

I like 5 Guys burgers and fries. I also like the fancy soda machine! I always get the «littles» bc 2 patties is too much for me. Hubby and I split fries. This location is cheap with the regular size fry, every time we go to this location they barely fill the cup with most other locations they overflow in to the bag, not here. It’s close to work so we’ll be back but the Franklin location is better.

These burgers are only good because of the toppings you can get on them. The quality of the food itself is nothing special. The fries are bland. The touch-​screen soda machine makes whatever your choice is taste a little bit like all of the syrups combined. The only really good thing about this place is the free peanuts.

Not much o say, if your craving a massive, delicious burger this is the place to go. The fries are equally good and you get a massive portion. I think they over season the Cajun fries but I am happy to stick o the normal ones. They do have a Coke freestyle machine and that’s always fun.

OMG, this is THE BEST place to get a burger!!! The fact that you can see everything that is going on is wonderful, the seating is great, the fries are so damn tasty and the fact you get to have some fresh peanuts while waiting for your meal is another plus! It is really retro and cool. The burgers are fabulous, the bacon is always crispy, when you get your meal it is extremely HOT! Couldn’t ask for a better place to get a great burger! Prices are reasonable and it is just a fantastic place to go out to eat!!!

Five Guys… actually has some of the best burgers and fries I’ve had. No clowns or crowns here, just what is on the sign: Burgers & Fries. More than adequate portions, good beef burgers, fresh fixins. Even though they wrap the burger in foil and serve it in a brown paper bag, it doesn’t look like someone sat on it or picked it out of the trash. The fries are out of this world. Super hot (cooked in peanut oil!!), not over seasoned, identical to fries you might get at a fair. Of course I had my fries «Five Guys Style», they do offer «Cajun Style» which I will get next time. They have hot dogs, grilled cheese, burgers and fries. NO goofy toys, no stupid McNames and an open kitchen. That alone is like they are on stage so you can see what you will be eating. I saw NO microwaves or heat lamps. Nobody hiding doing who knows what to your burger. As an added bonus they have serve yourself peanuts (in– the– shell). The place is bright and cheerful and decorated with potatoes because the fries are just as important and just as good as the burgers. Soda dispensing is cool too.

As Burger joints go…5 Guys in general has got it down. The addition of the customizable soda machine, and BINGO…5 Stars! Their portions are GIGANTIC… so I would order on the smaller side. I can eat… a lot… and teh Junior Cheeseburger and a regular frie is MORE than enough for me. I end up with extra fries to have later.
All you can eat Peanuts in shells while you wait!

Awesome soda machine has 106 different sodas but food is very good also pretty cheap price now the only place we need is a taco bell

This was my first time inside a Five Guys Burgers and Fries establishment and I was quite pleased with my first trip. Here’s a breakdown:
Portion size: I was very satisfied with the portion sizes here. I got a «Little Cheeseburger» which was the size of a normal burger anywhere else. Plus, the smaller size of fries was huge — the fries were overflowing into the brown bag they serve your meal in.
Price: The one downside to Five Guys is that it is a little pricey compared to other fast food chains. The quality is better, so that is what you’re paying extra for, but it’ll probably run you around $ 8 or $ 9 for a meal (Little burger, fries and a soda).
Restaurant: The restaurant itself in Milford was very clean and I like the simplicity of it. One of my favorite parts of the Milford restaurant was the space-​age looking fountain drink dispensers! There is one spout and you pick your drink off of an LCD touch screen — cool!
Menu: Five Guys reminds me a lot of In-​n-​Out Burger on the West Coast — the menu is pretty simple, as are the extra options you can add to an order. There are no combo meals like there are at McDonalds or Burger King. There are four different types of burgers to choose from, with a bunch of toppings that you can add, and that’s about it. Some people may object to the lack of options, but I find it refreshing.
It’s nice to see the old Blockbuster store turned into something that will hopefully stay in business for awhile. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try!
