So many issues here :(First of all, we probably received five million different bills for the same visit. Each one reflecting charges that they didn’t try to present to the insurance company. Then we found out that whoever takes care of re-credentialing the providers here didn’t keep the info up to date with certain insurance companies(ours included) so when they sent our claim in, the insurance company wouldn’t pay their portion. Instead of sending in the correct info to the insurance company, Access Medical just kept sending us bills. So all of that had to be cleared up. Then months later I receive a letter from a collection agency saying that my book was unpaid. We always pay our bills as soon as we receive them. So I called the collection agency hired by Access Medical. As I’m speaking to them my husband looked up our account and showed me where Access Medical had debited the charge from our account. Terrible. We will not be going here again. Update: Just spoke with a patient advocate who was incredibly rude first off. She also tried to tell me that they sent me 3 bills reflecting a different balance then what mines showed. Sigh. It seems like communication is hard for these folks. That’s okay, but when it consists of hundreds of dollars That’s a little difficult to deal with :/

Thank you Access Medical! Good grief — long story short… I had an ear issue I wanted t o have looked at whilst visiting OK and after going to six — SIX other doctor offices, a receptionist recommended Access. Everything about this place was professional and efficient! Two of my favorite characteristics of a doctor office — if you need care and you are from out of town or can’t get to your doctor — this is the place. My concerns were assuaged and a next-step-plan was provided. This place is a yes.

This place is HORRIBLE. Everyone knows by now that their wait time is forever. The ER was faster than this place. I went to the ER2 nights before I went back to the doctor(access) to test for strep. At the ER2 nights before, they tested me for the flu and treated me for it, end of story. Then I started getting strep symptoms and went to access a whole day after I was at the ER. So i was already tested and being treated for the flu. Well they wanted to test me again and I quote«the provider wants me to test you for the flu again even though it won’t change the course of action on how we will treat you…» I had lost my voice so they’re lucky I couldn’t yell but I said«no. I’m not wait here any longer. I am so sick I want to go home and be in my bed. WHYWOULDYOUTESTMEFORITAGAINIF I’M ALREADYBEINGTREATEDFORIT!!!» OMG I was there for 2 hours just waiting around. Like if they would just give me my meds and let me go they would be so much faster. It’s absolutely ridiculous. What ticks me off the most is they have NO beside manners. Never going back. This was yesterday 2÷25÷2015. They forgot to prescribe me some of my meds like my inhaler but luckily I’m feeling 50% better than I did yesterday. That’s reminds me. I have a few words for the Walgreens across the street as well…

No. Just no, don’t go, find somewhere else. OR check-in online but I can’t guarantee that will save you. I’ve been to this urgent care twice– once in February of 2014 and once in February of 2015. It’s not far from my work. Last year I remember having a «meh» experience but this year was just awful. Got there at 11:45 and checked in with no problems. The waiting room was busy but that’s to be expected this time of year. Waited about 30 minutes and was taken back. Had my vitals taken, etc. and a flu swab done. Was told it would be about 15 minutes for the results but they didn’t have any exam rooms available at the moment so I’d need to wait back up front. Fine. Over an hour and a half later, I’m still waiting. I’m sick. I’m pissed. There’s a bajillion snotty-nosed sick little kids running around the waiting room. They are out of kleenex. I’m asking for kleenex multiple times. I’m asking why I’m watching all these other people go back but I am still waiting. I’m told«we’re busy and people have checked in online so they get priority.» JUSTTELLMEIF I HAVETHEFLUPLEASEFORTHELOVEOFGOD!!! Perhaps being so sick made me more emotional and impatient but what can you expect? 30 minutes later I’m finally taken back to an exam room. Wait another 20 minutes for the provider to come in. The verdict: I have the flu. Couldn’t you have told me that over an hour ago? The provider was nice but I won’t be back.

My regular physician couldn’t get me in so the insurance company sent me here. My expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was prompt, the facility was incredibly clean and everyone from start to finish was friendly.
