I got fired from here for getting strep throat even though I had a doctors note. I also worked at City Creek location. If that doesn’t turn you off from making purchases here, they serve expired moldy strawberries.

One of my favorite desserts! A little hard to find but it’s across from the parking garage, after you see the movie theater on your right. Must try the Apple Pie Apple($ 6.75). It’s their most popular and you will see why. Strawberry comes in 2nd place for me. They will slice upon request(recommended).

I went in here while on a business trip and wanted to find something to take home for the family. The girl working was very friendly and helpful! She made some suggestions. Found some items that would travel well. For myself I purchased a Apple Pie with Walnut Candied Apple. It’s was amazing!

So my husband loves the Avalanche bark. Every time I am near a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory I buy him one. I went in yesterday, 1÷16÷15. The Carmel was a darker color, the Avalanche bark looked like fudge. When I go to the one in Traverse, it’s the best! The Avalanche bark looked different than usual. It should look like a Rice Krispy treat, not flat. Well I bought it anyway. First thing out of my husbands mouth, that’s not the same thing! I said it is, the guy said its the same. Nothing like it at all! Tasted like white chocolate, hardly any peanut butter in it! Especially for what you pay for the apples and Avalanche bark, over $ 10-. So not worth it! This place needs to make over and the right recipes! Very disappointed! Will not buy from here again! That was a big waste of 15.87! NEVERAGAIN!

I hope this is the one near the Theater? Anyhow, It was my Sister in laws Birthday so my fiancé and I decided we would come in to get her some of her favorite chocolates, Truffles! When we walked in we were greeted with a lazy«Hallo» by a very young lady who continued cleaning up the back counter as my fiancé and I looked for the truffles. We decided on getting a few more items for ourselves, 2 Carmel apples, 2 dipped oreos and a small dipped dog bone for our puppy. After we stopped talking the young lady, who had a very messy bun, a very baggy tshirt that hung off her shoulder, sweat pants rolled up her legs and dirty tennishoes… asked if we were ready? My fiancé said yes and preceded with our order. When she got the truffles I asked if she has a gift bag or something other than a paper bag to put those in? She looked at me as if I was an idiot and with very rude voice she said, «Uh we have boxes» and pointed to the wall where they hung. So I replied, «Oh OK a box would be perfect! Thanks!» Without a curtious reply she preceded to check us out. Her last words were our total, we paid, she handed us our items and we left. I was very disappointed that I was treated not only as an idiot, but was looked down on by a snotty teenager who thought she was all that with her played out grunge look! When I go to a chocolate factory I not only expect to be greeted at the door with a «Hello, how are you doing today? Is there anything I can help you with?» But also a professional, well put together person behind the counter! The ONLY reason why I’m even giving this store 3 stars is because the chocolates were delicious! I will stick to the Trolley Square Chocolate Factory, where at least I can hug their huge Teddy Bear if I’m ever insulted!
