Keri Holyoak, PA-​C, part of Dr. Jensen’s office, is a godsend to anyone with skin problems! I’d give her ten stars if Unilocal would allow it.
At the age of 32, I was breaking out as bad as I had at 13. When I became engaged in May for a September wedding, I knew I had to take action. One of her patients referred me to her. You know how you’d never go to a hair person if you didn’t like the hair of the person referring you? Or to a personal trainer of someone who is perhaps not in shape or getting there? Well, the skin of my friend is absolutely beautiful, so I figured I’d give it a go even though I’d been to dermatologists twice in the past with no success.
Enter Keri. The goddess. Cue Hallelujah Chorus and fireworks.
First off, she is amazingly kind, sweet, and personable. I had never visited a medical professional who was as interested in my health as well as my psychological well-​being around my health. She’s just awesome and you immediately feel as if she could be your best girlfriend.
The first medication/​topical treatment we tried worked a little, but not enough to make me feel satisfied. I was also having some rather odd side effects to the oral medication, so when I went in for my checkup, we entirely changed my routine. You have to, I repeat HAVE to stick with it to find the best solution, as each person’s chemistry is different and will react differently with medications both topical and oral. Within a week of starting my new régime, my skin was crystal clear. I have only had one large zit (gross, right?) in the past two months, in spite of recently starting birth control medication, which I was warned would make me break out like crazy. Nope!
I have struggled with skin problems for twenty years. TWENTY YEARS, people! And, within four months, Keri had my skin crystal clear in plenty of time for my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful and could confidently smile knowing there was no blemish on my face and no blemish to my perfect day.
