Zan’s Refuse Service

Have used Zan’s for some time now, and was bewildered by a one star rating that I just saw. We have no complaints. In fact they went above and beyond the call in handling the trash from our move, when they carted off an enormous amount of boxes, packing, and packing paper without commotion or complaint. I would rate their service as both reliable and courteous.

Absolutely awful. If I could leave 0 stars I could. We signed up and they were paid for what we thought would be decent service. Well, where to begin… We were told our trash can would be delivered that week and that never made it. So after calling multiple times one was dropped off the following week. We were told our pick up day was on Thursdays, so I had the can out on the day I was told and no pick up. When we called, they lady on the phone was extremely rude even though she told me she made a mistake and our pick up day was on Tuesday. So I let it roll knowing we all make mistakes. Well, the following two Tuesdays no pick up happened. We had to call them in order to get it picked up. Given nothing but excuse after excuse of why it didn’t happen. We were told one time when they missed it they would be back that day to get it and again a no show. Today was also a no show. I again gave them the benefit of the doubt of it being hot and they would be picking up layer in the day, but at 930pm I brought the can back to the house. The way I see it, 3 missed pick ups in less than 2 months and nothing but attitude when we call to ask about a service already paid for, I believe we will be looking to another company for our trash service. So please save yourself the money and headache and look elsewhere for a trash service.
