Wawa

I am a bartender for over a decade, so I appreciate late night food options such as Wawa And sheetz as opposed to fast food drive-​thrus. I came in to tonight and ordered one of my favorites and I used my card which was declined because I had exceeded my daily spending limit of 500 dollars and the clerk was extremely loud and boisterous and completely disrespectful. I promptly paid with cash to rectify the situation and was still further accosted as I was basically pushed (metaphorically) out of the store while all I wanted was my sandwich that I had previously paid for. Yes, on my part I let him know that our salaries are completely different and that contrary to my appearance, I was perfectly capable of paying for my food by other means… as I was chased out of the store and he threatened to call the cops as I left. I know you have video surveillance and I hope to hear from someone with nothing but a formal apology but my encounter tonight was embarrassing, demeaning and unlike the many friends I have employed by the wawa corporation, very unfriendly in nature. In closing, on my way home from work every night. …I pass a sheetz. If this situation is not rectified, that’s where myself and my staff of 57 and all that they tell will stop after work. I’ve been in customer service for over 2 decades, but this was ridiculous. Hope to hear back soon. And so you understand the seriousness of this situation, I hate Unilocal but needed to let someone know of this injustice… so this situation tonight showed me that I needed to make an account. Now I get it.

I just love wawa. never get tired of their food or smoothies! I ordered a strawberry one. 24 oz… the price is good and the size is perfect on a hot day

Very clean inside but had to walk through an employees cigarette smoke to get inside, normally wouldn’t bother me but I had my baby with me… Frozen Chia tea is good & I really like the grapes & cheese pack. I tried to cash in some scratch tickets & it took 15 minutes for the cashier to run to another register to complete my transaction :/
