I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this place was not good. We took our kids bowling(which was fun, by the way) and then, because we had a Groupon and read such great reviews, we decided to stop for dinner as well. First of all, I have to mention that this was the second time we attempted to eat here, because the first time we tried, they weren’t open. Apparently they don’t open until 5pm, which we did not see anywhere. So, we go in and there’s only one person there, sitting at the bar. She stood up when we walked in, so I assumed she worked there. I said hello, but she ignored me. Nice. She then walked behind the bar and stared at us without saying a word. My husband talked to her, and she explained that they no longer offer a full menu. We were confused, and asked if we could still eat there. She just repeated herself about not offering a full menu. So we were going to leave, and she finally said that they still accept Groupons and that we could stay. Oh, how kind of her. I was going to leave, but my kids were hungry so we just stayed. The food was okay. It wasn’t anything to brag about, but it wasn’t bad either. I ordered the Chicken Wrap, my husband got a burger(I don’t rememer which one), and my kids got hot dogs. The hot dogs were awful, but that tends to be typical of kids menu items. My wrap was pretty good and the aioli was tasty. My husband said the burger was okay. With all the rave reviews on here, I was still not expecting a lot simply because it’s in a bowling alley. However, my expectations were lowered even further by the terrible service. After awhile she warmed up and even gave my kids each a free cookie when we were leaving, but it’s no excuse for the attitude problem. This review is mainly for the terrible and uncomfortable service, not the food. Though, while not necessarily bad, the food was not worth the TWO trips it took us to go there either. In the future, I’ll just take my kids to Uptown Alley. They have the arcade as well as bowling, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the Red Embers Bar & Grill is WAY better than this place.

I said I’d be back, and I did come back. This time I went for the philly cheesesteak, although I initially thought I’d come back for the Pastrami sandwich. Unfortunately my sub wasn’t as tasty as my husband’s from the last visit. He had a burger, which came on pretzel bread and that burger was AMAZING! The bun was so soft and the meat so juicy, and it had the perfect combo of add-ons. Now I want that, next time I go back. It was football Sunday, and they’ve got a couple deals for game day. One was $ 0.50 sliders. We got two. Biggest sliders ever. Thick beef patty, bacon, and cheese. I know I’m coming back for that bargain! The only problem was the customer service. The manager(or superior from the guy who rang us up) was a bit rude, claimed that we owe him tax for using a Groupon, even though we came under value. Last time we didn’t owe tax, and we’ve never owed tax anytime before for a Groupon purchase. So he «waived» the tax. We asked for two waters while we dined in. As he was done with us, he loudly whispered to the cashier that«we don’t give away water, that’s why we have these» and I assume pointed to some water bottles. I didn’t need to hear all that. If the food wasn’t as good as it has been, I’d mark this place down. But it’s good, especially considering it’s a bowling alley first.

Got invited to a birthday party here at King Pin Lanes. I really enjoyed the experience and was pleased to discover the cool restaurant area within the bowling alley. It was nice to see they had a full bar and flat screen TVs in there as well. We received great service and the staff was friendly and attentive. I didn’t eat but the menu items looked good so definitely coming back to try the food next time!

I decided to stop by here with some friends from out of town for a girls night out bowl-a-thon! We had SO much fun! The last time I was here was years ago! Midlo’s Bite has had MAJOR renovations. The food is much better now at King Pin Lanes than ever! They have a great beer list and the food is definitely better than the typical bowling alley! The bartenders here were lots of fun! We definitely danced the night away even though we weren’t on the dance floor, if you know what I mean!

First off, I never write reviews, but I was so taken back by the food and atmosphere here at Midlos Bite that I couldn’t resist. Came to King Pin Lanes to bowl(I hadn’t been here in years and was blown away by how much the place has changed, some major remodeling definitely was done at some point), but was even more impressed with the food selection/quality at Midlos Bite. Bowling aside, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back just to grab a bite to eat! We ordered the Rt 60 Nachos, Fiesta Skins, American Burger(asked for medium, and it actually was cooked that way!), and the Westchester.

The lounge area in King Pin lanes, Midlo’s Bite has alot of very good varieties to choose from. The pictures of the food look exactly how it tastes, very delicious. Not a typical eating area in a bowling alley and def not a typical bowling alley either.

Wow. What a pleasant surprise! While visiting family back home, I visited King Pin Bowling Alley and inside was Midlo’s bite and it really turned out to be a hidden gem. In my opinion the Midlo’s Bite menu is filled with many interesting twists on American Classics, I myself ordered the pulled pork sandwich with the tots and it was delicious! Paired along with a clean and casual atmosphere and fast friendly service, it is definately a huge step up from your typical bowling alley food experience. I would absolutely recommend Midlo’s Bite to any of my friends even its just for the food!
