I have been here on multiple occasions and I always get the same thing because of how good it is! Their tacos are to die for, and my ultimate favorite reason to come here is their micheladas. Staff is also very friendly and helpful!

Best Mexican food around! Get the taxo meal with beans and rice and you won, t go wrong. Even the baby burrito is big and filling for one person! Sometimes I go just for the refried beans!

I have been very pleased with all my visits thus far(about 7). The menu is huge so I can’t vouch for everything but I have had their breakfast platters and a fajita dinner. All very hearty, delicious and authentic. I tried the classic burrito and was disappointed, but like I mentioned, they have a huge menu and it must be tough to excel in all items.

Went here last week. One of the worst burritos I’ve ever had. I ordered the small chicken burrito and took it to go. Usually, a burrito is a bit messy bit this was over the top. Some how the tortilla was soggy and at one point, I actually had to drain the burrito because of all the liquid. There was no flavor at all, just mush and juice. I’ve had bad Mexican before but this place took it to a new level of awful.

I have been eating here for 16 years and remember the food being consistent. It didn’t matter if you were drunk or sober the food was very tasty and some of the best Mexican food in the area. The tacos, enchiladas, nachos locos, and burritos were scrumptious. I know it is a different name and more then likely changed owners and cooks but the quality of food hasn’t changed for the better or even stayed the same. I have given the new establishment a chance but I much rather go elsewhere for better Mexican food. I ordered a steak burrito and it was terrible, very fatty, bland, and just not very good. Hope the place can change it around.

This has become a quick fave of mine. It is right up there with el gallo in crestwood but they accept credit cards! Had a delicious New Year’s Day burrito complete with chips. Have had tacos here in the past. Generous amounts of meat, friendly and quick service, and decent prices. Will definitely be back again to try more menu items.

Not my favorite mexican place, but their nachos locos is amaaaaazing!!! Just loaded with all the delicious fixins! However, their tacos are nothin special and I dont especially like their rice n beans. Ill stick to el cortez and la mex.

One of the best burrito joints close to me. I have yet to have something bad from here! This place is my second favorite, El Gello on 111th being first. But if u like el gello the. Ull love this place as well. Oh and I love that they have drive thru!

Lunch and dinner shift employees are the slowest I’ve ever encountered. Drive-through is particularly awful. If you’re not a late-night customer, don’t bother.

I seriously can’t get enough of this place. If I am craving some veggie tacos, this is where I go. They also have great hot sauce, and their nachos are way loaded. They are opened super late as well. They have a huge menu with lots of options, including things I have never even heard of, though I usually stick to the veggie tacos or nachos. If you are craving some quick, cheap Mexican food that is way better than a certain fast food joint, come check this place out. They serve up huge portions, too.

Underrated! Big burritos that are awesome — I love the potatoes being in there, I wasn’t used to that before. This place is open really late and if you have had a couple beers it is particularly awesome.

zero stars nastiest mexican food ever had in life period. was in the area getting halloween costumes and decided to try a different local spot… bad…bad idea. I had the chicken enchiladas and almost gagged when I tasted the chicken. I have no idea what type of chunky meat that was but it definitely wasn’t chicken. My friend had steak quesadillas and yuck the plate was full of grease and oil. We had to leave our meals at the table and I love to eat so this never happens. Also service was horrible don’t go here ever.

I am extremely surprised that this mexican joint only has 3 stars. I consider my brother and I Mexican Restaurant experts and he introduced me to this gem last weekend. I do not think it was«typical» as most of the reviews point out. They have a huge menu full of items I had not heard of and even offer a cheesecake burrito. Seriously? The food is huge — like gigantic and you get much more than what you pay for. The quality of my steak tacos were phenomenal.

A typical suburban Mexican food joint. Despite the fact they have a cheesy name and they are a chain of about a dozen locations, the food is actually pretty good here. They have a really extensive menu which includes a lot of seafood choices. There are daily specials written on a chalkboard. The taco and burrito choices range from the standard chicken and steak to more traditional choices like lengua(tongue), cabeza(head), tripas(tripe) and sesos(brain). The fish tacos are good and three of them will fill you up.
