I had an over use injury that needed work. I didn’t want to just be tickled but I did not want deep tissue either. I had Tina. I called an hour ahead of time and secured the opening and then set out. They took me pretty much on time and Tina really knew what she was doing. All 3 people I saw that worked there were extremely cordial and very helpful and friendly. Very cozy room beautifully decorated. They do have you pay in advance so have a cash tip when you go. I will certainly be back and recommend all my friends. We worked today on back and legs with a major emphasis on the leg that was giving me problems from ankle to hip. I feel like a new person! Thank you Tina and staff!

Let me preface this with: anyone that has read my reviews — knows that customer service is EVERYTHING to me!!! And I do NOT hold back on my opinion! BTW –This is a long review bc I was pretty upset!
I was highly in need of a last minute massage and happened to stumble upon this place, after calling many of my normal spots who were completely booked. First, no one answered their phone when I called and there was no answering machine. About 2 minutes after I called, my phone rang and it was a representative of the spa — I guess they screen calls and then call you back from some random New York number ?! Nonetheless, I was desperate and the lady on the phone told me to stop on in because she could accommodate me– now mind you, I told her that I live downtown and it would take me a while to get dressed and get there and she said «no problem– just come by». So there it was — it was settled folks! I was finally going to be able to get a much needed massage!
I get dressed and drive to the place-​about a 30 + min drive (with no traffic, but today was the Richmond marathon and traffic was hectic downtown with all the street closures, so I had to deal with that time issue too). Anywho, I get to the place and walk in– the first thing I notice was a very poignant peanut oil smell that was not pleasant — it seemed more like the odor from one of the workers left over lunch possibly?! I would hate for that to be their normal scent inside! I was quickly greeted by a woman coming from the back (no one was sitting at the front desk!) She asked if I had an appointment and I explained to her that I had spoken with someone shortly before driving all the way out there and she looked at me like I was crazy/​lying until I mentioned the random 917 NY number that called me.
She then gets behind the desk and calls someone and had a lengthy discussion with them in another language — and she was frantically flipping thru the appointment log/​composition notebook and glaring at the clock… in the midst of her loud convo on the phone she would blurt out a question or statement to me. Basically they need better customer service and scheduling because she proceeds to tell me that she wouldn’t have anything available until 2.5−3 hours from the time I was told! I was horribly upset and quite frankly pissed!
I would never recommend anyone to go to this place on that alone! The point of my massage was to get stress released and to relax– the fact I wasted time and gas to drive 30 –40 min to a place which messed up scheduling and then wanted me to «hope» they could fit me into their schedule 3 hours later was horribly counterproductive in having a relaxing afternoon! Now I’m upset and irritated in my attempt and I will do everything to make sure no one else experiences this mess– DO NOT go here!

Totally amazing!!! Peaceful atmosphere with a very professional staff. The price for our couples massage was very reasonable. I left feeling completely euphoric. We will most certainly be returning here soon.

Great deep tissue massage for a great price! They even give discounts for doing couples massage! Good service and very thorough deep tissue. My masseuse climbed on my back and used her knees to help work out the knots in my back. Wonderful! There isn’t a luxury pool or steam room (the facility is located in a shopping center behind a gas station) but for the price and quality of massage it doesn’t even matter. Go to this place! Your aching muscles will thank you!
