I’ve been going there for over 6 years. Straight-​forward people that are good at what they do. They have yet to overcharge me. They won’t add in unnecessary work to bring the cost up unless you ask. I recommend them to everyone I know.

VERY DISAPPOINTED after being quoted one price over the phone to install spark plugs, cabin and engine air filter, only to find out it would cost me an extra $ 50 once the work was finished. The labor was not more than an hour and I supplied my own parts. I have been coming to this shop for 2 years and will consider going somewhere else because of price gouging.

I have used Allstar Automotive for a quite few things on mine and my husband’s cars. I was very disappointed after our move to Texas to get some work done and to be told by the mechanics that whoever was working on my minivan wasn’t doing a very good job. They left things unplugged and not put together very well. I had my van serviced there 2 months ago and spent $ 1000 getting various things fixed. I was told I needed a sensor replaced to get my check engine light to go off at the tune of about $ 100. I declined and said sensors don’t matter much and I don’t want to spend more than $ 1000. At the shop today, they told me something was unplugged and that it was the cause of my check engine light being on. Plugged back in and voila! My check engine light is now off. You’d think after spending $ 1000 they wouldn’t lie to you about some sensor to make another $ 100. Not to mention, they didn’t change my air filter when they changed my oil and it wasn’t even put in correctly from when they checked my filter and told me it needed to be changed.
If you use them regularly, think twice. I don’t trust them.

I have been taking my car to Allstar for 4 years now — and I recommend them any and every chance I get. They are fair with their pricing and do a great job. If you make an appointment they adhere to it and if you don’t make an appointment, they are relatively flexible.
There is a waiting room with a plush couch to sit in (very comfy!) and a keurig machine! Also there is a little Pomeranian dog named Tahiti who belongs to one of the owners and hangs around. She is very cuddly and sweet.
Staff are extremely helpful and professional without being stuck up in the least. I do not feel like they are trying to rip me off at all. I highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of car work done!

Found this shop when needing an emergency electrical fix. I called Allstar, and even though it was late in the day they said they’d look at the problem and fix it if possible. Allen accurately diagnosed my car’s problem and got right to work. He was very accountable, even showing me the blown bulbs and wires that were causing the issue. I waited in the shop’s office/​lounge, and while it wasn’t the tidiest room ever, they did offer coffee, $ 1 snacks, and the bathroom was very clean. Within an hour of my arrival, Allen had my car fixed, and the bill was VERY reasonable. Usually I am suspicious of mechanics and dread any auto shop visit, but these guys were so helpful that I left in a great mood!
