I will start by saying that the wait time for mediocre food is terrible. Nothing to brag about. While I am sure the wait staff works their face off, this place has a lot to be desired. The women’s bathroom was dirtier than a highway rest stop. The seat was broken and covered in feces. It hadn’t been cleaned forever! The patio is super cute and nice to sit out on. Very secluded from everyone. The bar seemed nice and the waitresses and bartender was fantastic. however. and this is the main reason I am giving this place a terrible review. The owner… the MALE owner. is visibly TRASHED/DRUNK every time EVERYTIME I have been there. This is the third or fourth time I have seem him hit on women relentlessly. Constantly. playing the«Friendly owner». who wants to give you free drinks if you sit at his table… only to get super nasty when you decline. Telling them that he is a «general contractor» which means what exactly? why are you telling girls this? I was there this weekend to witness him hitting on a girl. When she asked him about his wedding ring he lost his mind and proceeded to call her a whore and went on and on. DRUNK off his face. It was disgusting. THEN10 minutes later came back over to harass her and her friends again and ask AGAIN for her number. to which she replied. you just insulted me for 5 minutes. I am not interested. It was disgusting. She left shortly after this and probably I doubt will be back! He should be ashamed of himself for the way he acted in front of people and how he treated this woman. First rule of owning a bar is that you should NOT be drinking and get trashed in front of your customers. Sad, because this place has potential. but no one wants to be bothered by a belligerent older man who must have a circus mirror because he really thinks he is the cat’s ass!

All around, a great experience! The food was excellent with some guidance from the bar tender, very friendly and helpful staff, fair pricing, and good selection of beers. We’ll definitely be back!

OK this is a rather weird rating I am about to give. I ate there for my 40th Birthday on Feb 13th. We ordered take out. We all just ordered a bunch of food and shared it amongst ourselves. We ordered the Thai shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, dusted chicken, crab cake dinner, and barbeque chicken. The crab cakes were very moist. It wasn’t cooked long enough. However, it was good. They were extremely tiny and I was VERY disappointed in the portion. I thought for $ 20 they would have been much bigger or at least medium size. I will say that it was real lump crab. The spaghetti sauce was watery(gasp), bitter, and thin. The meatballs had a weird taste and I ended up throwing it away after one small nibble. The dusted chicken was SUPERGOOD! I was really impressed with the dusted chicken. The Thai shrimp was really good also and it came with couscous rice or what appeared to be couscous. LOVEDIT! It had some type sweet sauce drizzled on it. Here is where things get weird. WEALLGOTSICK! ALL4 four of us. We were sick for about 3 days. Chills, bad stomach pain, gas(oh baby), and severe case of diarrhea. I almost went to the hospital, but decided to google remedies instead. I am not saying that we had food poison from here, but what were the chances of all four of us getting super sick at the same time shortly after eating here? Sick for days. I never left a review like this before and I’m not trying to bad mouth Damiano’s, but I’m just telling my story. This place stays packed so the people really love it. Hands down it is the best food your going to get in Midland so…

My husband and I arrived around 6:45 for dinner. I had suggested another restaurant, but he reminded me of Damiano’s– we had eaten here once before when they first opened over a year ago and had a decent experience so we told ourselves we would try it again. Let me first just say that we LOVE to support local businesses and would choose a local restaurant over a chain any day of the week. When we arrived, we were not greeted by anyone– there was no clear place to check in, so we made our way to the bar and stood next to a family who appeared to be waiting for a table. After a few minutes, a woman came over and asked if we needed a table, we said yes, just the two of us. She told us to grab seats at the bar and she would get a table ready to us shortly. While at the bar, my husband looked up and complimented how neat the tin ceiling was — I looked up to see for myself and saw spiderwebs and dust hanging above us(turned me off, but figured it’s not a huge deal) We waited about 10 minutes(again, not a huge deal) when she came over and told us our table was ready. I was a bit concerned seeing how many tables of people were seated around us and none of them even had drinks yet… Anyway, we sat down and noticed the tablecloth hadn’t been changed from the last guests, there were visible stains and food on it. After 15 minutes, a waitress finally came over and asked for our drink order. I asked if she would mind getting us a fresh tablecloth and she handled it very well– apologized and got a new one, she was very nice and I cannot say anything negative about her. My husband got his drink about 10 minutes later, however I didn’t get mine. She again apologized and said they were very busy, which we could see– but the bartender was serving everyone else and had made my husbands drink already– all I ordered was a glass of wine. Until my drink arrived, we witnessed two other tables either get up and leave or ask for boxes instead of eating their meals because they took so long to come out. People were getting out of their seats and going to the bar to get their drinks or refills either because it was taking too long or they just weren’t getting service from the waitstaff. Throughout the night apologies were echoed from all of the waitresses over and over due to people complaining about the wait or their meals/drinks. We ended up ordering the stuffed banana peppers as an appetizer and they were delicious, no complaints there. I ordered a steak salad and my husband ordered sausage penne Diablo. I was a bit disappointed because the steak was chopped up in tiny pieces and overcooked, although the waitress did not ask me how I’d like my steak prepared, I guess I should have mentioned it. My husband said his pasta was good. I assume it was the owner who kept walking past throughout the evening as she finally stopped and said«how’s your Diablo?!» He told her it was good and she said«sorry we’re so busy but what are you gonna do?» And walked away. Overall, we felt rather let down by our experience. We were at the restaurant for over two hours and paid $ 57 for our mediocre meals. As much as we wanted to give a great review for this local business, we just aren’t able to. It’s more than worth your while to drive 5 miles up the road into Beaver for a 4 – 5 star dining experience.

Not bad. The food took a long time and we were the only people in the place on a Saturday afternoon. The burgers were good, but you could tell they were frozen. The fried chips were good but too greasy. It’s not worth the trip if you live far from it. It’s basically a place for 40 year old professions and hipster douches. The type of people who debate tap selection. If you’re not a drinker it’s not worth it.

…took my wife here for our anniversary and we were really surprised how nice the place was. Several great tap selections to start the evening led to a great meal. The portions are large so expect to take some home. Great bartender so we just decided to eat at the bar. A great night with great food on a special occasion…

Was very busy when we arrived but it only took maybe 15 minutes for our food. We got burgers and they were at least an inch thick and delicious! Highly recommend!

A bright spot in Midland where options are limited. Good selection of Italian staples plus sandwiches and salads. I was quite pleased with the quality of the lettuce and other vegetables in my salad. Portion sizes on the pasta dishes were generous. I’ll certainly be back.

New bar/restaurant in Midland and it is exceptional. When I walked in I felt like I was in South Side Pittsburgh! We had a 4-top and ordered the Stuffed Peppers and Zucchini for an appetizer. Both were very good. We all ordered burgers and like the apps, they were as good as it gets. The chips that they serve are as good as the ones you’d get at Burgatory. Very nice beer selection and a beautiful bar, as well as several TV’s. Do yourself a favor. Check it out.

Just stopped for drinks on a Saturday night. New place in Midland. Very comfortable friendly atmosphere with outdoor seating. Super hot bartender Katrina is reason enough to go back.
