Total dive but the service is friendly and the chicken wings are LEGIT. Thai peanut, honey bee hot, and house dry rub (salt/​pepper/​garlic) were all great. Very blue collar place and to be totally fair a little on the seedy side but nothing crazy… Again, the staff is very friendly. Awesome wings and cheap drinks.

Great service even though by herself. Wings were fantastic. They took awhile but if you get wings less than 15 min after you order they have been pre cooked. Worth the wait!

I lived in Newport a few years ago and never came here but now I’m here for just a few weeks and gave it a shot and now I feel like in Good Will Hunting when Minnie Driver’s like «I’ve been here for years and I’ve only just found you.»
In this analogy, Brewski’s is a beer & wing prodigy with a tragic past, and I’m a very cute British girl putting my heart on the line for love and also beer & wings.

First time here — very local crowd and extremely friendly. Some «local» bars aren’t always open for newbies, this one is great. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside. They have a wonderful staff that is open to explaining the menu (without making you feel like an idiot). I’m not an east coaster and some of the vernacular isn’t what I’m used too. Fantastic draft beer selection (12 on tap at time of this review) and the prices are ridiculous cheap. Full liquor selection — no Kettle, but said would certainly carry whatever customers wanted. Tito’s is great too — and that’s one of their staples. Don’t be put off by the approach — it’s a bar great for daytime and nighttime food/​fun. I’ll be back for sure!

I have no idea why this place has such high ratings!
The best thing about this place is the bartenders. I asked for a beer and was asked the greatest question ever :” Would you like a pint or a pitcher?” Ummm, duh! Pitcher please.
Honestly though, its a dive and a half. If it was worse before then there must have been regular murders occurring here.

Great local dive bar. The bartenders are very friendly and no pressure atmosphere. The best part though is the Chicken wings… best I’ve found in Newport. They also have poker nights and pool tournaments which seem more fun than serious while still being competitive.

oh man if you love to people watch then look no further. the mix of crowd here is epic. I love it. the beer is cheap so next up I will move to booze to see how the feels on my wallet. I didnt try the food this night but one I’m sure. it was a Saturday in January and the crowd was lively. so check it out have some fun and have a drink.

Came here after polo tonight! What a good time, I got a chance to chat with the owner and I told her I had heard great stories about the wings! Turns out they have like over 20 different kind! The hubby and I opted for the tai nut, so good with a cold crispy beer. I liked that at 7:30 it wasn’t crazy crowded with drunken patrons, just homies chilln with fellow homies. Can’t wait to return and try more stuff. Turns out the pasta is all home made as well. Friendly, fun, and tasty can’t beat that!

If you want an awesome home style dive, without a doubt this is your place!!! You go here 2 times, every bartender (dawn, joe, Jennifer, and the owners) will know ya an love ya. the wings are fo’ real bomb dot com. Especially when Shelley makes them. That woman is a wing ninja behind the bar! Crispy, savory, perfectly sauced! Soooo gooood!!!
They have one pool table, usually open on any night but Saturday. They got some darts, they got a small but awesome dance flOor and they got karoeke ad djs on the weekends! Drinks are pretty affordable despite the recent price home that had! G

Starting out with a RedHook beer and a bowl of chowder. Chowder was good. My friends bowl of chili (covered with cheese and onions) was pretty good too. This is very much a locals’ hang out. Big screen TV, & pool table. Wasn’t very crowded when we went.

Great neighborhood bar. What it lacks in elegance, it more than makes up for in charm and personality. The owners and the staff are great. The food, good bar food (exceptional wings!). The crowd on Fri and Sat is an interesting mix of business folks, military and locals (including the girls). During the week, not much of a crowd, so easy stop for a quick beer/​drink or two. Worth a stop… remember to eat the wings. Might be best in Rhode Island.
