I love eating here the owner is a nice guy, and the pizza is really good. I prefer this over pizza from dominos or Pizza Hut. I eat here at least once a week. The prices are normal for a pizza spot.

I’ve ordered from Anthony’s a lot. In the beginning a year ago, it was good but now it’s AWFUL! The last 4 times my pizza was barely cooked. The dough was raw, the toppings weren’t cooked(eggplant rollatini pie) & the cheese was just barely melted in some spots. I asked for my pies well done but no one ever pays attention to that. I ordered chicken fingers & was disappointed to receive an over fried chicken cutlet cut up. It was as dry & hard as shoe leather. I also ordered soda which I never receive without calling them to come back. I ALWAYS have to ask them to NOT burn the garlic knots but yet somehow they still do EVERY time. I’ve called in the past to complain & get a nasty attitude from an Italian guy that simply says«what do you want me to do». Well I’d like you to know how to cook food properly & read a customer’s instructions. I always spend $ 40 – 50 and EVERYSINGLETIME they bring me food not even worth $ 10. Trust me… Find another place to order from!

Great food! Service was quick. If you are from out of town like me, I would recommend this place for a good lunch at a reasonable price. They have a great menu with a lot of choices. The pizza was great and the caprese was pretty good. A bit average but not bad.

Just had my first pie a few minutes ago(went with a large supreme). I’ve tried most of the pizzerias in town and the surrounding area and this by far had the freshest tasting ingredients I’ve had for as long as I can remember. The staff was extremely friendly and the pizza was ready in exactly 15 minutes as promised. The restaurant looked very clean and welcoming, although I was only there long enough to grab my order and go. I look forward to trying more on their menu.

Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Both were very bland and had no taste. No sauce at all. Probably the worst I’ve ever had.

Anthony’s is a place that makes you feel right at home. The food is always fresh and the portions are great. My favorite is the Chicken Francese!

I really love this place – nothing wins me over quicker than a good Italian meal. This is a great place to both order from and dine in. They have an amazing special on Tuesdays where you get a choice of one regular pasta dish and one baked pasta dish for only $ 6.95. Seriously amazing! I love the baked stuffed shells and you definitely get a bang for your buck. The ingredients also taste very fresh. Judging by food alone, I give Anthony’s a solid 5 stars. I personally have never had issues with order mix ups or forgotten items. This is a place I drop by for a cheap meal, and I love love love my cheap eats. The Chicken Francese is also AMAZING! Beautiful presentation and super flavorful. They also have a deal where you get two slices of pizza for just $ 5. Once again, a great place for a quick bite!

May have found a new delivery favorite for work! Ordered on Eat24 which makes everything better, esp when you’re insanely poor after a trip to the hair salon and want to buy your meals with PayPal credit(no shame). There was no delivery fee(YASSS!) and the food was reasonably priced. got garlic knots and the Anthony chicken special which was parm style chicken, fresh mozz & vodka sauce aka all of the best things. It ran me like $ 16 which in Italian takeout terms is a pretty decent deal, especially considering the amount of food I got. Salad — delicious balsamic dressing, so much pasta with the chicken, bread & a hefty portion of garlic knots. Got to share lunch with coworkers, leftovers for dinner & lunch the next day, sooo win/win/win for my garlic knot lovin fat heart :) the delivery was pretty quick too, even for a day like this past Friday when it was rainy and disgusting out, so I’m sure they were swamped with delivery orders. I’m a fan, will be ordering here again!

Good food, ingredients tasted fresh. However, a little on the salty side and little on the greasy side, and not the type that you’d like to have in your foods… Also, they forgot my drink. They’re ok but not the best

Good food priced right. Portions are large. Think pizza parlor Italian food with low effort on presentation, Beyer cooked pasta and much better sauces with friendlier service. Definitely will go back.

We ordered delivery of Tortellini Alfredo, the Jersey burger, Eggplant Anthony’s, breaded mushrooms, kid’s chicken fingers, and garlic knots. Tortellini was great — cooked perfectly and nice and rich. The burger was terrible — cooked to oblivion and their«bacon» is actually crumbled up bacon bits with a mealy texture. Eggplant Anthony’s was admittedly delightful — except they cover it in the same bacon bits that the burger got, which is not mentioned on the menu. Who puts bacon in a vegetarian dish without advertising it? My wife, who is a vegetarian, was pretty upset about this. The breaded mushrooms were large, soft, overly bready, and watery. The kid’s chicken fingers are paper thin. Maybe 1/8″ of breading, then 1/8″ of chicken, then another 1/8″ of breading. Tasted okay otherwise. Garlic knots came in a bag that was soaked through with garlic butter. Knots were very nearly croutons. Old, and somehow crunchy and leathery at the same time. Also, almost completely coated in garlic. Whoooo boy. The delivery kid was nice.

I ordered from this place twice on GrubHub. My pizza didn’t have sauce both times. Isn’t pizza automatically supposed to come with sauce? I didn’t think I should have to specify that. I ate cheese bread for dinner, but it didn’t taste bad. I’m sure with sauce it tastes way better. The delivery men are always very nice which is a plus. I probably will order over the phone next time to ensure I get sauce. Then I can give them five stars!

Started out great, the owner is a great guy. But lately the pizza is sub par. It’s incredibly thin and soggy. Very underwhelming. I’ll give it another shot but don’t expect much

We have ordered from here several times over the past two weeks. Every single time, the order was wrong. Our last order, we had an order of broccoli rabe and an order of broccoli. The broccoli rabe was overcooked like someone threw it in a pot and walked away for a half an hour. They gave us a second order of broccoli rabe instead of broccoli. When we called to inform them, the owner wanted us to text him a picture of it as though we were lying! We will definitely not be back.

Called in a pick-up order from Piscataway without ever seeing the place and didn’t expect much. The guys are sooo nice. The place is cozy. And the food is delicious. I had the Anthony Salad and eggplant roletini pizza. Both fantastic. I’m sold!

This is the old Carlo’s Pizza which closed and now reopened under new ownership. We have been there twice in the past week and food and service have been excellent each time. Has a nicely decorated dining room section giving it a comfortable ambiance. We had the chicken and pasta meals and they were fresh and delicious. Tuesday nights they have a $ 6.95 pasta dinner special from 5 – 9 pm which includes bread and salad. Generous portions and freshly made. Bread was absolutely delicious! Owner is very friendly. He came to our table to introduce himself and was intent on making sure his customers leave with a smile. We certainly left with a smile and have made Anthony’s our regular go to place.

Anthony’s is a pizza restaurant like so many others to be found in Central NJ strip malls… except they strike me as being head and shoulders above the rest. The staff is friendly and the food is good. They are a BYOB restaurant which I always love(makes going out to dinner a little more affordable). Dinners are reasonably priced and in my opinion you get a lot for your money. Dinner starts with a nice bruschetta. Then you have your choice of soup(usually 2 or 3 soups) or salad. They salad is better than your average house salad(not just a bowl of lettuce, but also includes some tomato, cucumber, carrot, onion, olives). The entrées are quite good, most served with choice of pasta. Finally, dinner comes with a little surprise… a plate of zeppole(fried dough balls) with chocolate & powdered sugar. They are delicious! It is really a great deal for a 4 course meal(bruschetta, souup/salad/entrée/zeppole). Toss in the BYOB and it can’t be beat! I think Tuesday night is ½ price pasta night. You can get a 4 course pasta dinner for $ 6.99. How can you go wrong! I highly recommend Anthony’s Pizza & Pasta. I would give them 5 stars, but I would not want to be misleading, It is a very, very strong 4 star restaurant. Note: I have never tried their pizza… only the entrées.
