The taste of the cheese pizza changed for the worse. I used to like it but now I go to the nearby Gino’s instead.

Very good. Consistent and reliable. They do great sicilian pies, and I like the regular pizza too which I usually request crispy. Their sauce is on the sweeter side, which I usually don’t like but it’s good. Mozzarella sticks are huge, homemade, and amazing. Chicken rolls are a nice size and yummy.

Been in Middle Village over 10 years and this is our go-to pizza place. There are 2 other pizza places very close by on Eliot Ave we’ve tried a couple times over the years. One my wife and I cant stomach the pizza, and the other is decent at best. Steve’s pizza is FAR better in our opinion. Staff is nice and attentive, and the delivery guys are always pleasant.

This is the best pizza around period if you enjoy NY style pizza. So you’re not coming here for specialty slices or whatever, but for amazing plain slices and my favorite, grandma slices. Steve is a really great guy, lives in the area, and is a big part of the community — another reason he will always get my business. Also try the upside-down sicilian!

Finally, new guy learned some stuff. Spoke clearly, and loudly. Pizza came hot! Delicious pizza definitely recommend. My brother and I loved it, delivery guy was kind and wasn’t rude like most. I just hope that the new workers won’t be so rude and quiet from now on. Other than that, ORDER. PIZZA. FROM. HERE. ITS. AWESOME! Enough cheese, enough sauce, smells delicious right when you open the box, fresh and yummy. I ordered four for two peeps. I’m a loyal customer, and btw, if you’re ordering(delivery) it’s fast, and even though they say 30 – 45 minutes for four pizzas, they came in 20 minutes, with fresh, hot, and delicious pizzas waiting at your door. The delivery guy didn’t leave my pizza at the door. He waited and knocked on the door hard(because I had headphones on playing games) and after all that, he greeted me with a smile and I already knew things had changed and I definitely WILL be ordering from here again. Thank you so much for the delicious pizza! Samantha

This Pizza is my favorite in the neighborhood. If you save your receipts from ordering pies you eventually get a free pie. Delivery is quick You can even enjoy eating inside there are a few tables. They also make food, however I have never had the opportunity to eat there other food items asides from pizza. There is street parking so that should never be a major problem.

When I do come in here and it’s always empty. I’m assuming they do more deliveries that dining in. The have about six booths, and one heck of an enthusiastic guy behind the counter. The pizza has an odd taste to it. Not inedible, but its almost a sweet sauce taste, my friend ate it and loved it, but as for me I have definitely had better. The prices are good and it is free delivery local. I haven’t tried anything else there, and I’m not planning on to.

Terrible. Who heats up chicken rolls in a microwave? This pizzaria comes off dirty, and the pizza is nothing to brag about. Way too many better pizzerias in the area to want and eat here. Carlos, Pizza Classica, and Rosas on Freshpond or the one on 69th are all 10x better then Steves.

My family has been ordering from here forever and swear this pizza is so great. I beg to differ, it is mediocre. Also, the other day we ordered a bunch of stuff for a family gathering and the food came cold and one of the pies that was«half mushroom» was more like a regular pie with 3 mushrooms on half of the slices(literally. I wish I was exaggerating). We were REALLY disappointed in how pathetically cheap they were with the mushrooms, it was actually shocking when we saw it after opening the box. I think my family likes their pizza because the sauce is sweet, but in my opinion it is too sweet, the dough is too thin so it gets soggy, and the cheese tastes somewhat burnt. I know way too many better pizzerias to give this place more that 3 stars. In fact I would give it a 2.5 but I had to round up so whatever.

Living in Middle Village its hard to find good pizza as soon as I moved from Brooklyn to Middle Village the quality in pizza is horrible. However, after going up & down Eliot this is the best place BESIDES Rosa’s which doesn’t deliver. So Steve’s gets my vote! Dough has flavor as well as the sauce however its a bit sweet but overall its not going to change me from coming here on a regular basis. GOTOSTEVE’S!

Although Steve is a very good guy by all standards, the rest of the employees are bringing this place down. They just look dirty and make everything around them feel dirty. One of the employees was blatantly smoking in the kitchen… Not even trying to hide it. Haven’t been back since.

I have known Steve for quite some time. I was not at all surprised that he is now the owner of his own pizzeria. I have since moved to California and when I come home Steve’s pizza brings me right back to Middle Village in one slice. If you like Queens pizza, never mind NY pizza, this is the place to go. The owner will always take care of you, pizza is his business! GO! GO! GO! And enjoy a slice for me, they all taste like ass out here :)

I’ve had pizza from virtually every pizza shop within a 5 mile radius of Rego Park/Middle Village and I can say unequivocally that Steve’s is hands down, flat out the best slice in the entire area, bar none — Danni’s, Andrew’s(great guy), Phillies(Robert Deniro looking owner is always grumpy), AJs, Alexandrias — none of them even come remotely close. In order to find a better slice, I’d have to hop in a time machine and go back to the 1980s to Tony’s Pizza on Woodhaven by Dry Harbor Rd. Sorisi’s was the only place that even compared and they are long gone. Danni’s pizza is decent, and the only pizza shop I know of open until 2AM on weeknights, 4AM on Fri/Sat, but their sauce is too sweet. Steve’s, however, is perfect. The crust is thin, but not too thin and has just the right amount of crispiness(not hard and crunchy). The sauce is fresh and bright — a perfect balance of salty and sweet and their cheese is deeply rich and tastes like the good stuff. They definitely use high quality cheese(which is what the owner of Sorisi’s once told me was the secret to why his pizza was so good) and when you take a bite, you instantly remember why a good slice of New York pizza is one of the things you miss most when traveling abroad. My quest for a really good slice of pizza in the Rego Park/Forest Hills/Middle Village area is over. This is THE only place I buy pizza from now. Period,

I wish the pizza here was better because the people who work there seemed really nice(not to mention one of the guys there is pretty cute). It was cooked well, it had a thin, crisp crust, but the sauce was pretty bland. I had one slice and that was enough for me.
