Allstate Insurance: Abraham Kevin Spann

Let’s start by saying they’re great as long as you don’t need them. I had auto, home and two term life insurance policy’s. I was in a large accident and was found 100% not at fault. I should have received my entire deductible back but only got half. My agent stated no one is 100% not at fault. I wouldn’t settle for that so I contacted Allstate and sent copies of police report and got the other half of my money. I decided I didn’t need an agent and moved home and auto to geico for a significant savings.
My life policy’s were $ 39.38 and my wife $ 24.72 per month taken out of my checking account. I could never get my agent on the phone so I emailed him a request to cancel both policys. The next two months my account was charged and I still could not get my agent to return a call, although I did get a nice young lady to help after I forwarded her the emails. To this day I have only gotten a refund of $ 39.38 leaving me $ 88.82 short. I am contemplating bringing them to small claims court. Not because I need the money (I could use it) but the lack of courtesy shown. I feel this agent ruins my view of Allstate and I will recommend to my friends, family and coworkers to stay clear of Allstate.
