These guys are the absolute best. I’ve never been in their store but I use the Pickup/​Delivery service from Manhattan and its as good as it gets. Their cheaper than the local places and faster as well. I’ve gotten nothing but great customer service from these guys from cleaning to alterations to adjustments. Most recently, they were able to remove a pen ink stain from my fav pair of tan wool pants — after I had unsuccessfully tried several methods suggested on the internets. The pants came back looking brand new.
tl;dr: the best, can do what you need, quickly and cheaply.

I agree with other reviewers who posted that the service is horrible. As typical with dry cleaners, I was always given a ticket with the date and time I should expect my clothes to be ready. On more than one occasion my clothes were not ready at the time promised. This is a huge inconvenience, yet I came back because they are located near my nail salon. The last time, several work clothes tag to needed were to be ready by 4pm on a weekday. I cancelled an after work engagement just to make it to the neighborhood to get my dry cleaning. When I arrive after 6pm, my clothes were not ready. No apology, no explanation, just instruction to come back the next day. I am convinced the only reason they have any customers is due to their location. If you take your clothes here, be sure you don’t expect them to meet their deadlines.

I love this place.
I like that most of there stuff is done onsite (as far as I know)
So the times that I have gone here, I’ve had no problems with my clothes.
The first year I brought ballet costumes of mine here, they had no problems cleaning them for me.
Several times, I have brought custom pieces of clothing I have made for people to get cleaned and the have worked well. The are several dollars cheaper than the laundromat that I use to wash my clothes. and a a dollar or two less than the competition dry cleaners nearby.
I have been very pleased with them for the past nine or ten years that I have used them.
But I do not use them on a daily/​weekly basis.

I’ve been with Acosta’s since 2006 (8 years). Eddie Acosta and his company have done a great job with my clothes. In fact, I use Acosta’s instead of the valet in the buildings I have lived in. Eddie will promptly return your calls. They offer very reasonable rates. Good job guys.
