Great family owned store. Every employee is helpful & friendly! If there is a beer that is normally not stocked, they will order it for me in a very short time. Love the convenience of this Liqure store. Small but effective!

Pricey. Depending on the time of day you get a mix of clientele. Some from the affluent Long Beach area and some from the section 8 housing down the road.

It’s not a bad stop for some local craft brew favorites and they even have some local wineries representing as well… it’s just that the place is really tiny so there’s not a HUGE selection of anything. I talked with the guy working there and apparently some pretty close MI and IN breweries aren’t open to sharing with them(not sure why they don’t have a lot of local wines though)…Basically, if you want a slightly better selection, you’re going to have to hightail it across the street to Al’s Supermarket or get over to Bud and Elsie’s in New Buffalo.

This is a small liquor store, but you could do a lot worse. The wine area is decorated with grapes, twinkle lights, and lattice. The beer selection is lacking but not terribly so for the region. A few craft brews and seasonals are offered. There’s glassware, bitters, mixers, a few snacks, several types of bottle openers. If you forgot to bring something for the party, you’ll probably find what you need here unless you’re looking for something super-obscure or super high-end. Cashier was pleasant and helpful.

This place has come a long way since they days when the Pony Lounge was just next door. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and find a clean and welcoming décor, a good selection of booze(even gift sets), mixers, and even refrigerated limes. There was a cool little wine section in back decorated with lattice, greenery, and white Christmas lights. I was able to find everything I needed — even bitters — albeit at a typical liquor store markup. This place will definitely do in a pinch when Al’s is closed.
