Pappa’s Pizza Palace

One of the best pizza places around. Crust is tasty with plenty of toppings. sanwiches are very good. They have a steak on the that is the bomb. Plenty of drinks bottomless glass it seems like.
Owners are really good people. They will make you feel at home. Service with a smile from all staff.

I went there Tuesday night, September 1^st 2015 based upon the other two ratings, and I am glad I did. Good old fashioned thin crust pizza with plenty of toppings and cut N-​S and E-​W into bite size squares. Just the way I like it.
Had the «small» side salad… which came out as a medium-​large salad served in a large bowl, and that was good too. Enjoyed some iced tea since they do not serve beer… but it should would have gone great with the pizza!
Good service in comfortable a ma’-n-pa’ type eatery. Actually, when I walked in, I thought I had walked in the service door as I saw no tables whatsoever. Turns out, that is the ‘lobby’ area… and you have to walk in and to your right to get to the dining room… which is nothing more than a large kitchen area… adorned with booths, local memorabilia, and numerous tributes to Johnny Bench and Pete Rose. Very entertaining.
When I left, the proprietress asked me how I found the place… and I said, «I found you on Unilocal!» «You had great ratings and I was hungry for a great pizza, and here I am.» She said, «What’s Unilocal?»
So after explaining that to her, I left and said, «Check it out on

And I told her I would be back!

The best pizza ever, they give you plenty of toppings and the service is great. Once you come here you will be hooked.

Boy am I lucky. It was dark and I was lost. This little pizza place had an open sign. I was nervous when I first opened the door because it didn’t look like much. When I turned the corner into the restaurant area I was greeted by a delightful young man. I told him i was lost and needed to charge my phone and he and the the owner said, «Of course.» Well, it smelled so delicious I ordered a pizza and ate it while my phone charged. The owner was so nice and she found the directions to the hotel since Siri had failed me. It’s so great to find nice people and delicious food! I highly recommend you come by for pizza and get to know the owners!
