what an ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLE experience I had in your Miami store on: I purchased my glasses and my family’s glasses from your Batavia Illinois store because I am from Illinois. I was in Miami on business and my glasses broke and went into this store and the VERYVERY lazy technician that was not doing a single thing except looking and surfing on his smart phone said that he does not have time to work on my glasses. My glasses broke and I was desperate because I have a very strong prescription. I really needed help and he could have fixed it inside 5 minutes. I really thought that was an awful experience and NEVER again will I set foot in Vison works anywhere. I then took it to a local eye glass store a couple of miles away and they fixed it with no charge… the management at Vison works should be ashamed and fire this guy who apparently put his personal iphone use ahead of his customers need. I regret spending close to $ 1,000 at your store in the past… YUCK!

This Visionworks is located off N. Miami Ave next to Ross at Midtown mall so street parking is the ideal option but you can always park in the mall garage and walk over. I was seen by Dr. Michael Valle and he was very professional, friendly, and did not seem in a rush(granted, it was on Thursday morning so it was slow). He also didn’t make me feel pressured into purchasing lenses or contacts with him, which was so appreciated. The women who work the floor brought up the frames and contact options more but they also didn’t put much pressure. I will definitely recommend Dr. Valle to anyone in the market for a new optometrist.

I went in to get an eye exam and buy new reading glasses. My Experience started out good with a reasonably priced eye exam. The Optometrists is very friendly and professional. However, the experience quickly went downhill when I started discussing buying the glasses with a sales girl. This is kind of a bait and switch operation. They advertise Buy One pair get one pair free. However if one uses insurance to partially pay for a pair they do not offer the second pair free. My point to her was what difference does it make who pays what part of the bill is immaterial, they aren’t giving a discount because of insurance, insurance(mine) simply pays up to $ 130 of the bill. If the insurance pays $ 130 and I pay the difference the full amount is still coming into their business. I asked if my mom wanted to pay $ 130 and I pay the difference would that be ok and she said yes??? So I chose to pay without insurance so I could get the second pair«free». The frames are all very inexpensive(most less than $ 100, mine were $ 70). Then I picked the middle of the 3 lens choices with a basic prescription(NO bifocal or Progressive lens) and the total was $ 350 including tax. I was in shock $ 255 for basic plastic lenses. I was expecting $ 125’ish. So I left and will buy elsewhere. I realize if you average the price of 2 pair for $ 350 its less than I was expecting to pay for the first pair. However, its not ethical of them to advertise this way then charge almost double the price and say the second pair is free.
