To all my friends and family that care about their health and the health of the ones they love… Don’t ever visit Vicky Bakery on 10134 W Flagler St! They sold me «3» tostadas with mold! The employee Jaima could have cared less that I was about to give this bread to my small boys, even after expressing my concern. I am very discussed and disturbed with this. How can someone sell you old food that they know they wouldn’t eat themselves.

What a great place. I did not know it existed until I saw it in Unilocal.Wow. I had a café con leche, split a croquet pork sandwich with a cheesecake flan. I will be back.

I was in the area for work and stopped in for a mid afternoon snack. They have great café con leche and delicious pastries. My favorite was the guava strudels /empanada. Oh and the prices are great too.

My local cuban bakery. Places like these and Polo Norte usually surprise the local contigent that is Sweetwater, because honestly everyone thinks everyone is Nicaraguense. It’s all good though! I need cubans like I need my radically expensive mattress. Who can say no to glazed pastelitos and cuban/media noche/bistec sandwiches? I thought so. The breakfast is also pretty good, and the best value I would say is the breakfast sandwich. Extra tip, ask for butter on the toast… No sense in being on a diet walking in here. Just kidding, they have diet coke.

I was very excited when I heard the owners of Vicky Bakery Kendal were opening a new location in Flagler. Since I’m always on the road for work, I love that I now have two locations to buy delicious pastries and cakes from :) I even took a box of their pastries to the hospital to welcome my baby nephew :) Everyone that visited my sister-in-law was able to grab a delicious snack while they were there ;) Vicky Bakery is definitely my favorite bakery!

I just stumpled upon this place while in the neighborhood. The space is really modern compared to other Cuban bakeries. But most impressive is the food. Pan con Bistec reminded me of my grandmother’s and the flan cheesecake was amazing. I even went back to order a party package for a birthday party I was planning. I heard the owners own the one in Kendall, too.

Just opened near my job, and its amazing! Cuban based bakery with a modern flare. Fresh croquettas, and when I asked for egg whites they didn’t look at me all crazy. Inexpensive and great customer service!
