Don’t waste your time, had a bottle and as soon as you finish they hurry to kick you out. We dtill has alcohol on the table. Don’t bother coming here.

The bouncers treat you like trash. Spent $ 500+ on a table and got kicked out for«spilling a drink». Mind you they put us at a table right next to the bathroom. Kicked out our entire party and literally kicked two of my friends in the chest. They didn’t have the decency to tell us why we were being kicked out until we were outside. But don’t worry they charged my credit card before kicking us out. The people at the front door did not care. They were just trying to get people in. Took us over an hour to get someone card. This happened to be the executive beverage manager. And this man never responded to my emails.

This place has seen better days. It use to be my «go to» bar in brickell(affordable, good music, no hassle to get in) but that’s not the case anymore. They’re now charging obscene prices: selling minimum bar tabs at the door and $ 20/drink inside. It doesn’t help that they’ve hired the most obnoxious humans in the world as bouncers. Someone needs to remind them that this is Brickell, not south beach, and with a mostly local crowd we will gladly take our business elsewhere. Peace out TuCandela!

This place was not anything i have expected. We were 8 people — 5 girls, 3 guys. We had to put 40 $ on our credit cards. We got drinks for that, but 1 drink is 20 $ and it is not even good, nor big nor anything close to being worth 20 $. They tried to persuade us a bottle was cheaper for us, but it wasnt and they just tried to make us spend more. The place is rather small and gets crowded very easily. In order for it not to be crowded you have to come early especially during the weekends. The inside is not even nice or cool/interesting looking. The bouncers are nowhere close to being at least ok behaving. The only good thing about this is the music. We came and stayed for a little but just because we have paide the cover but I am sure I will not be comingn back anytime soon. I think there are many good places in Brickell this is not one of them.

I have been there a lot of times. It was a good place. Not any more. Last week one bouncer kicked me out, almost punching me like if I was a criminal, confusing me with another person. Yesterday both places were separated. I couldn’t even use my «baru cash» bills and they held my credit card ’till I was charged $ 40. I bought a beer in the 2nd floor and went down stairs just to see how was the atmosphere and since it wasn’t what I expected, I went back up stairs. Basically it took me 1 minute but when I tried to get in they didn’t allow me with my beer saying that I needed to throw it away. The place was good one month ago. The bouncers now turned into completely assholes. What is happening to this place???

Absolutely horrible owner! I was there last night and said hi to one of two girls at the bar downstairs. On the other side of them, another guy is talking to the other one. He turns to me, tells me he is the OWNER and that if I don’t leave he will kick me out. What?! I ask one of the bartenders if he is really the owner, and she says no. I go back to him and say it doesn’t seem to be the case, but he gets one bartender to get the other bartender(who I asked) and I immediately see how they react that he really is one of the owners. You have got to be kidding me! You’ll kick me out for chatting to a girl who is standing right next to me? Anyways, he tells her to kick me out and I leave at that moment. Yes, I paid cover. No, I was not being obnoxious or drunk or anything else. I was polite even. But this guy had to have an ego trip and kick me out. You have got to be kidding! How unprofessional is that! Screw that place.

DONOTCOMEHERE!!! I would leave 0 stars… But Unilocal doesn’t let me. Everything is over priced. This place is overrated. And the manager is a dick. I asked for his help and he rather talk to his friends than help. DONOTCOMETOTHISPLACE! there are other bars and restaurants in walking distance with better customer service!

I should have known better in coming to this place after reading previous reviews. The service is terrible. *VIP was crowded, the security allowed those who didn’t pay for VIP in the VIP area. *You could not dance from the overcrowd. *The DJ played the same songs at least 3 times in a matter of 3 hours. *When it was time to pay, the bartender added 2 extra bottles to our bill($ 300 a bottle). *the security guards surrounded our table as if we were criminals and were refusing to pay our bill. When it was there mistake. Conclusion: This place is awful. Don’t spend your hard earned money here.

Yes this place is small, yes it gets wayy too crowded, but the music is AWESOME!!! If you’re in the mood to dance Latin music, this is the place to be. Drinks are expensive, but what can you expect? It’s Brickell! If you want to avoid the over crowdedness, come around 11& you will have some time to enjoy yourself before it gets crazy.

Ridiculous! We used to come when this place was empty. Now they try to charge 300 bucks for a bottle or you won’t get in. There are so many better places in Miami. Hope they run out of business

Out with a group of friends to celebrate and our whole group of 4 decided to try out the venue. Lets start off, the doormen let us in since my friend likes to spend and they knew him so we by-passed the line which was great. We walked in to a live music shoebox(very small, over capacity). The music was on point but trying to just get to the bar when every single inch of the bar had a bottle service and the people would not let you go around them to order a drink. Finally at 1:55am I hit the bar and ordered a round from the young lady. 2 beers and a cocktail. I live, work, and play in sobe so I understand heavy pricing but $ 54 was a ripoff. Here is the reason for the one star after a few rounds of the same drinks it was my turn to buy again in our group. I asked the guy behind the bar for the same two beers and cocktail only to receive an $ 80 bill. I pulled the receipt from my pocket from my previous round and showed him and he would not listen or look. I paid, put the drinks down grabbed my friends and left. Never again. If you want live music try ball and chain. No cover, no attitude, great drinks, and no one will rip you off.

There are so many other places you can go to ! This is not worth your money! At the door they demand money from you, in this case it had to be $ 40 cash! No card are accepted. They then escort you to the bar where you have to order something by one waitress at the front with the register. Let’s say your with 5 people(5 x $ 40 = $ 200) we order 1 round of tequila shots and they still told us we had a remaining balance of some $ 70 bucks. How ??? You want to come here for Latin music ??? You are at the right place. You want to dance ??? Try because it is virtually impossible. Super packed and everyone pushes you. Staff is extremely rude and when they are delivering a bottle to a table they push all the other people like their shit. Like not an excuse me or an permiso. Have fun somewhere else ! Go to Wynwood lots of fun places to go to!

Got an automated text message from their promo team saying to show the message at the door for a VIP entrance and a free drink. I went there because of the message and the bouncer said I was crazy and that the cover was $ 20. The place looked dead and the bouncer was rude so we left. Wasted trip.

Racist, ignorant excuse for a «club.» I’m white and tried to take my girlfriend on her birthday, along with my visibly Cuban husband. We were turned away(they were completely empty) on a Friday night because«the flats we were wearing could cause an injury; heels would protect our feet better.» Wtf?! I told them I worked in orthopedics(I do) and what they said was an insult to our intelligence. As we were walking away the 4(!) bouncers yelled sexist and racist remarks at us. This place won’t last and I would highly recommend anyone with any decency boycott it until it closes. RESPECT.

The place is ridiculously small and overpriced. I walked in, ordered a whiskey, and within 20 mins I was out of there. Music was pretty good but dancing was a mission.

I used to like this place! It used to be one of the only places(near the grove) that played salsa, merengue, etc; now it’s mostly reggeaton, I had to ask the DJ twice for salsa! It’s supposed to be a Colombian place! Also, they add 18% tip on your tab! I don’t think the bartender deserves $ 4 for pouring two vodka-sodas! I was completely disappointed on my last visit(Jan 3, 2015). Not sure it’s worth another try.

Stop the madness pls!!!

Great music but the bottles they price them as they want from one week to the next, and if you ask for a cup of water they won’t offer it you have to pay $ 5 for a bottle and the waitresses have an attitude. Management really needs to control this issues.

I used to come here every weekend, and I truly loved it, until they started trying to charge a $ 20 dollar cover. What used to be a great secret is now no different from any other Miami spot. For $ 20 you can go to Spazio Nero for a real SoBe experience and for $ 10 you can go to BlueMartini.

Came here on a Saturday night when we got tired of Mary brickell and wanted some dancing. Great Latin music and turnout, got to dance. Just a little hard to navigate a small space but of you want an authentic Latin club in downtown check this place out

Cool little happy hour spot. The day I went, there were only 5 other people there. Drinks were good, music was good, and there were seats available. What else do you want for happy hour? I’ll be back.

A friend was celebrating his birthday this weekend and said we were going to TuCandela Bar. I had never heard of the place before and when trying to find information on it, I learned that the original location in Colombia was actually part of a huge sex scandal! I was intrigued. Apparently they were providing more than just dancing and drinks. The Brickell location was different in that no one was offering services of the naughty kind. The valet here is $ 10 and your car is parked right across the street(convenient), also, there was no cover. We walked in around 11:30pm and there was maybe 10 people in here. The place is small but has a very nice bar. The music varies so that you’re not listening to ballenatos all night, but rather a great mix of merengue, salsa, and some english dance music as well. Around 1am, this place was packed! We had two bottles at our table for $ 200 each(good thing the bill was not on me ;)). The service was good, our waitress was very attentive to all our needs, and we danced all night. It was great to have the tables since there was plenty of sitting room when we needed a break from the dancing. I love places where I can dance spanish music so I’m sure at some point, I’ll visit again.
