Really good coffee and some really awesome cupcakes. I had the tiramisu. I loved it.

Just went to buy cupcakes for my daughters birthday party. The menu shows a 24 pack so I asked if I can have a 24 pack in in vanilla. I was so shocked when the passive aggressive employee told me I couldn’t pick one flavor, that I HADTO get a mix. So I’m willing to spend almost $ 40 on cupcakes and they won’t let me even pick what I want. That’s just crazy. Btw they had enough cupcakes. Needless to say I went somewhere else.

I’m sorry to have to be the one to write this, but the flavor of these cupcakes simply isn’t there. I tried several: the cookies n cream, the key lime and the birthday party(vanilla) and they all lacked flavor. Also, I am not a fan of the frosting ATALL. It tastes like pure butter. Not sure what everyone raves about, but hey. These cupcakes aren’t for me. Nope.

I am a fool for not coming in here earlier! After reading the reviews on Unilocal,I decided to try Sweet Times during a hankering for some serious sweets. These cupcakes are absolutely AMAZING! So here’s the skinny: you MUST try the Pastelito, Xoxo, Lights Out, Cuatro Leches, Lemon and the Nutella one tastes just like a Ferrer Rocher. Yup that’s what I said! And thr Pastelito is Guava Heaven. If you’ve been thinking about going to Sweet Times, go. Like now. As in immediately. Seriously, these cupcakes simply are the best.

The cupcakes were good, definitely hit the spot but the service was a little stand offish. Maybe the reason why I didn’t rate a 4 or higher. Tried the cookies and cream– yummy 4⁄5 Nutella — yummy but wasn’t sure of the frosting 3.5÷5 Carrot cake– 5⁄5 perfection!

I was lucky enough to receive birthday cupcakes from here earlier this year and they were lovely! They are moist and I really enjoy the frosting. The guava cupcake they have is fantastic! I have been to the bakery myself and purchased four cupcakes and I kinda feel like they are overpriced. They are pretty tiny for the price. Four cupcakes runs you about $ 8. But I suppose that’s what cupcake shops usually charge. Sweet Times to me is one of those places thats great when someone brings you a box of cupcakes but if I have a craving myself, it’s not the first place I go to to satisfy it.

Ooh. Emm. Geeeee. Delicious doesn’t even describe these cupcakes. They’re sinfully good. The girl who helped me was so nice when I came in, explaining every flavor and helping me in my decision. They’re coffee is equally as good. It’s better then any Starbucks! I can’t wait to come back in for some cupcakes and coffee!

I really didnt want to give a review based off of one cupcake, so I had two! The red velvet cupcake was great. It had a light and fluffy cream cheese frosting that dissolves in your mouth. The cupcake itself was a good amount of moist but the flavor was not my favorite. The guava cupcake was the better of the two with a yummy guava filling and a heavier(but still delicious) frosting. Overall it was good, but I think I definitely need to try a few more.

All I can say is wow waiting on my girlfriend I stumbled upon this cupcake GEM! I had the campfire which is real good and also had a free dolce leche when you check in! WOW the dolce leche is phenomenal!!! And the caramel Frapp kills Starbucks any day! I would definitely recommend to anyone around the Kendall area to stop by and check them out! And don’t forget to check in to sample some of the cupcake goodness!

Obsessed with this little place. Brought the hubby with me this time so he could have a coffee with a snowball. Of course, he loved it.

Best cupcakes in South Florida! They are always fresh and moist, and the frosting is light and not overly sweet(Italian buttercream). All the flavors are delicious. They are two-bite cupcakes, which is a perfect size. I wish they had a location closer to me!

My sweet tooth did a little happy dance when I entered Sweet Times. My husband and I have very different tastes when it comes to dessert– he likes vanilla, and things that aren’t too sweet. I like chocolate, filled with chocolate, covered with more chocolate, and there’s no such thing as «too sweet.» Sweet Times caters to your many dessert needs. We tried the Four Leches, Red Velvet, Birthday Party, Chocolate Chip Gone Bananas, Lights Out and Cookies & Cream. We loved all of them besides the Red Velvet. The employee was friendly and helpful– she let us know the Red Velvet is made with white chocolate frosting and not cream cheese frosting, but we decided to still try it. We just didn’t love it. The Birthday Party was perfect for my husband– vanilla goodness, not too sweet. The Lights Out is extremely sweet and chocolatey and very tasty. The Chocolate Chip Gone Bananas was actually my favorite though– it was a unique flavor, and the frosting was amazing. The Four Leches was wonderful as well– a unique flavor, that we both enjoyed. We also tried the raspberry dark chocolate truffle ice cream– it was amazing! There’s a moderate amount of seating, and drink options as well. This is a great place to grab a dessert, or take a box to go to share with friends. Check their website before making trip to see what flavor options are available– they vary daily.

This cupcake place is a little hidden in a shopping center by a hotel and across the Kendall Village shopping mall. I have driven by here many times but probably would not have noticed it if my sister had not recommended it. I like that there is a lot of cupcake options. Their chalkboard menu is cute and colorful with lots of options Now on to the cupcakes. I tried the carrot, chocolate chip gone bananas, chocococonut, nutella, 4 leches(yes…all in one day) and they were delicious. My favorite was the chocococonut, carrot and the 4 leches. The frosting is delicious, not too sweet or overwhelming. I definitely want to come back and try all their flavors!!!

This is kind of a hole in the wall cupcake shop although it’s in the center of civilization. I say this because it’s behind a big Best Western and I have never noticed it when driving down this little road as a shortcut… Until a guy on the side of the street handed me a coupon! Haha. The prices are very reasonable for the size and compared to Mishna’s, it’s way cheaper and just as fabulous in quality! The special thing about their cupcakes is that they use ITALIANBUTTERCREAM! I tried the Snowball and Chocolate chip banana. The cream snowball was a moist vanilla cake with real pineapple bits, all topped with a dallop of coconut Italian buttercream, then sprinkled with coconut shreds. So heavenly to my tastebuds! The chocolate chip had a very fresh burst of banana once bitten in. They have a total of 25 flavors, but only sell 10 kinds each day. They rotate flavors day by day, which gives me all the more reason to stop by again and again to try them all! They also sell coffee, which they used ghirardelli syrup for the flavored ones. Fancy! Haha. There’s also ice cream available to pair with your cupcake :) If you’re catching a movie at the regal next door, or shopping around the area like I was, definitely stop by and give this cupcake shop a whirl. Sweet times does not disappoint!

Well even though my first review stated I would not return I have done so twice. Well my opinion has not changed I still find the cupcakes to be good just not my taste. There are two cupcakes that I find a bit more Distinct than the rest. One being the tres leche and the other lights out. I’m sure by now you are asking yourself then why do you keep going back, well I keep thinking I might be missing what the other 5 star reviewers are raving about, but to no avail my opinion hasn’t changed. They are just not my type of cupcakes.

Fantastic. I know the cupcake’s «big moment» is past, but let’s face it, a good cupcake will never be exactly unwelcome. And these are among the best cupcakes I’ve had — and we’ve been some to renowned, nationally praised cupcake places. Sweet TImes deserves to be one of those places, if it isn’t already. The interior is very Miami modern, but without tipping into South Beach pretention. Their well-organized case is stocked with a rotating selection of 10 daily varieties, which are posted on the website in case you want to make sure your favorite is on offer. We got a ten-sampler so tried a variety. All were great. But the highlights were: — The«Lights Out» cupcake — basically chocolate on chocolate, was rich without being overly sweet and was as chocolatey as claimed. — The cookies and cream tasted exactly like an oreo in cupcake form, with the cake being the sandwich and the frosting being the filling. — The Guava was great, avoiding the trap of using the overly sweet guava gel. — Coconut and pineapple. I love coconut, and the little bits of real pineapple were a nice treat. It tastes like a cupcake-form Piña Colada. They didn’t have the«Chocolate Chip Gone Bananas» the day we went, but I’m very much wanting to try that. The cupcakes themselves: they aren’t tiny, but they are a little small. Which is good, if you ever looked at the calorie and cholesterol bomb that is a cupcake. When they are bigger, I sometimes found myself cutting them in half. The cake is a perfect density — light(so it doesn’t feel like a starch brick) but not puffy and insubstantial. The frosting is almost universally made of buttercream, and is rich without being sickening. In fact, overall, the sweetness is perfectly balanced and not too sweet, but bursting with flavor. This always seems particularly tricky with icing. I will also note, the service is extremely friendly and the people behind the counter delightful. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

Tried their iced coffee for the first time and definitely feel like I’ve been missing out… especially since they have almond milk as an option. Soy and 2% diary milk are the other options. Cupcakes are the same consistent pieces of amazing deliciousness. And they now have ice cream as well.

In celebration of their one year anniversary I figured I’d venture in and give this cupcakery a taste test! So the location can be somewhat of a hidden gem. It’s off Kendall Drive(88th street) behind the Barnes & Noble. Not very centralized but nonetheless easy to find. I ordered 2 dozen and an additional half a dozen to go in order to take advantage of their anniversary promo. I immediately took note of the service. The guy was extremely knowledgeable of the cupcakery world! He was quick to point out the major difference between their cupcakes and the average cupcakes found in other sweets shops. I was really charmed by the whole explanation and was ready to dive in. They use italian buttercream which is less sweeter than the frostings made of sugar on your highly processed average cupcakes. Needless to say your cupcake as a result is less sweeter which for some may not be as inviting but I just interpret that as «healthier.» Yeah… that’s about right. My first taste was the guava which is the most popular. Found it to be delicious and noticed the difference immediately on the icing. Can’t say I have an undying preference for it over any of the other flavors as I opted to try the birthday cake as well as the strawberry one. All cupcakes had good consistancy in response to one Unilocaler who’d mentioned dry. Cant say they’re the moistest because again we are talking about quality ingredients but definitely not dry. The cupcake is not greasy or overly sweet. They are a perfect combination of flavors. Overall this experience was great… service alone was exceptional. It was personable and friendly from start to finish but these cupcakes did not make my fave list…
