Went for burgers and beer and it was a nice neighborhood bar feel. Nothing was terrible but nothing was great either. Escargots were ok, mussels and burgers were good. Service was really good and it had a nice vibe. I could see going back for some beers and watching a game or live music.

We saw this on tripple D and thought we would give it a try. Had the fried green tomatoes, scampi wings and the Rachael sandwich. All were as good as advertised. We are coming back for the mussels soon.

This is truly an incredible restaurant/bar. First of all, the live music here is seriously incredible. I came on Friday and they had a live country band. Boy, did they rock the place! The food was absolutely delicious as well! Fresh seafood, cold beer, friendly/attentive staff, and great music. I have been craving Scully’s for a week now and it’s definitely time to go back.

Because I saw this place at Food Network last night, we decided to try it. We thought it was going to have the wow factor. It didn’t. We were very disappointment with the quality of their food. The chicken wings were very dry, and everything else was the same. Sorry but will never order from you again.

The service was really good, but I can’t say the same with the food. I came in wanting to eat some chicken wings, my friend and I both ordered wings, I got their garlic scampi wings and he got the hot buffalo wings. I was truly disappointed, I was expecting more; the wings didn’t taste bad but they were nothing special or worth coming back for.

I heard of this place from guys diners, drive ins, and dives. I was not dissapointed. We ordered a few different appetizers to make the meal and everything was delicious. They garlic fries were great and my wings were pretty good too. Portions are big, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

If you judge from the outside it doesn’t seem very welcoming, mostly catering to local regulars. However, we were greeted right away when we walked in and our server Janie was EXCELLENT! It was pretty crowded today due to a golf tournament and a raffle going on, but that did not hinder our service at all. The selections are mostly sandwiches, burgers and wings with a nice variety of appetizers. I was craving a burger and she ordered the Crusted Fish sandwich, both were ok, nothing special. My burger wasn’t really cooked to my specifications(medium), and the fish sandwich was a bit on the dry side. Their fries are pretty good and for dessert the key lime pie was below average. Overall it’s not bad for bar food I guess. I don’t think I’ll return, but once again our server Janie made the experience much better than the food.

I typically come to Scully’s for a late night snack and last night was no exception. I came to the restaurant with two of my friends for a snack. We decided on the nachos, which are a favorite at the restaurant. We asked the waitress to add chicken to them, but when they arrived we quickly noticed that there wasn’t any chicken on them. We told the waitress that it was fine and we continued to munch on them. The waitress was nice and brought extra sour cream and jalapeños. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and we were in the back by the pool table. The people playing were celebrating a birthday and seem to be having a great time. It was just a perfect place to get a late night snack.

Horribly worn down restaurant… but the food was ridiculously great. Broken chairs, sticky tables, dusty lights and dirty floors… normally I’d go running, but I had to put my fellow Unilocalers to the test and try the food. My girlfriend and I stopped by on a Wednesday after work, our waitress was ‘Cori’(I didn’t catch the spelling) and she was BUSY, but did her best to be attentive. Idk, maybe it’s just me, but with such good food, I can look past it taking a long time. I recommend the potato chip crusted fish(as does everyone else who’s been here) and the stuffed mushrooms. Cute presentation and large portions. I’ll be back soon, it’s so close to home. I’d even pick it over the more popular sports grill near by that’s drenched in green plastic cups and bearded men, if you catch my drift!

I Just want to Let everyone know how great this place is. Chris the owner is amazing! I have been going to Scully’s for at least fifteen years. I haven’t been disappointed yet. The food is always delicious. So I decided to order some catered food for a small wedding at my house several months ago. It was Chicken Scallopini. It was awesome. So this weekend for Mother’s Day I decided to have Chris and his team Cater my Mother’s day event. Him and his wife were so helpful on the phone. They were able to accommodate my taste buds. They made a Delicious Juicy Marinated Flank Steak, Chicken Cordon Blue with a delicious glaze, and an incredible Homemade Garlic Parmesan Potatoes with mushrooms and Bacon. I ordered for 16 people, it ended up being 9 of us. But the food was so good we all ate twice! My only regret is that I didn’t have left overs for lunch. But the good news is. Scully’s will always be around, with there great food and very hospitable service! You’ll feel like you’re dinning with family! P.S You have to try the Escargot and the Garlic wings!

Tried this place as part of our tour of Kendall neighborhood bars. Measured drinks? Plus $ 10 each at a dive bar in a strip mall? No thanks

As I was walking up I didn’t know what to expect. When I walked in, my first impression was that the place was a little divey and no one escorted us to be seated. When we ordered drinks, the waitress told us that there was a shortage of OJ and pineapple juice. There are two full service bars at this place so I found the shortage of juice ironic since there are mixed drinks that are made with OJ and pineapple juice. Any who, we ordered brunch. My food was decent. My eggs Benedict weren’t cooked over medium as I specified but it’s one of my favorite dishes so I was satisfied either way. They have a good selection of food there. We had bread pudding also and it was pretty good. I’ll recommend this place, there’s definitely food that you’ll like on the menu. I want to try other items on the menu as well. I think they are lacking in some ways but overall it was a good experience

Came here on a Sunday around 1pm. We could have easily gone to IHOP, which isn’t far away, but decided on this place as I had heard good things about it. Plus, there were people waiting outside of IHOP and we weren’t in the mood to wait around. We walked in and no one greeted us, it wasn’t busy either. We figured we’d seat ourselves. They acknowledged us and told us to go into the other room, which was empty, because we had the kids. It is really dark in this place! The room we sat in with the pool tables at least had more light coming in. The brunch menu is small, only about 4 or 5 offerings. We asked for orange juice and they didn’t have enough for all of us. We asked for pineapple juice which our waitress told us they had. It came in tiny cans and had no free refills obviously and was like 3 bucks! I think they probably should have had juice on hand since many customers order mixed drinks with them? Or maybe they have more of a beer crowd, I dunno. The brunch was good, I had an omelette, with bacon, cheese and mushrooms. The potatoes it came with were good, the English muffins were ok. The steak and eggs, which my bf ordered was good. My sister thought her eggs Benedict were ok. We ordered a bread pudding also which was sooo good though! The service was good too, I liked that it wasn’t crazy busy, ambiance is a cross between an Irish pub and a sports bar. All in all I want to go back and have dinner and drinks there, maybe soon I can try it out!

A fun bar with karaōke on Wednesday nights! They were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but it doesn’t seem to have gone to their heads. Service was great, people were friendly, and the food was good. We had the World-Famous Encrusted Dolphin Sandwich, a tender mahi-mahi fillet, lightly crusted with their seasoned potato chip coating and deep-fried. While crispy and tender, the word«seasoned» doesn’t really come to mind. It really needed something to punch it up a bit. Maybe ours was missing something??? We also have the Charbroiled Chicken Breast Sandwich, but with Cheddar Cheese instead of Swiss. A little overcooked, and the bacon was a little burned on the edge. The fries were very good! Even though the food wasn’t outstanding, the service was so friendly and fun, I would certainly go back if I were in the area.

I moved to Kendall a few months ago and happen to live by this restaurant. I heard it was on diners, drive ins and dives. I had to try it out! I came with my boyfriend and friend. They got the dolphin sandwich and garlic fries and I had the tuna melt. Both were delicious! The garlic fries are AMAZING! If it wasn’t for the questionable service I would give them 5 stars. The servers act as if they are doing you a favor instead of doing their job. But I can’t deny that the food was the bomb!

In a lonely strip mall sits an unassuming bar, Scully’s. If you dare judge it from the outside, you may never venture inside. However, that would be a grand mistake. Scully’s has a certain energy to it. When you walk in, everyone is truly having a good time. The crowd is older than you would find at Wynwood or SoBE, but it’s a much more low key place to spend your time. The drinks are well priced, the servers and bartenders are wonderful and have a great sense of humor, there’s Billiards in the back and many TVs all around. No complaints here! They even have a digital jukebox that links to a phone app, pretty snazzy. Let’s get to the food. Bar food is meh, right? While in most cases you may be correct, you would be completely wrong about Scully’s. wow! The food here will knock your socks off! It has been featured on Food Network’s ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’ with Guy Fieri. This is evident by the photo on the menu and many photos on the wall, but with food like this, they can plaster it on every surface for all I care! We shared the garlic fries(delicious! dripping with garlic sauce and covered in small chunks), but the real rockstar here was the encrusted mahi sandwich. I am not the biggest fish sandwich person, but after reading the reviews on here, I had to try it. «No Ragrets» at all. It was golden brown, crunchy, crispy perfection. It was cooked, but not overcooked. Tender, but not soft. It was really amazing. They use a breading that looked part breadcrumbs, but mainly broken up potato chips. Ruffles to be specific, and wow did it change the whole dynamic of the sandwich. It was huge as well. I can put away the food, but it definitely filled me up(it came with very crunchy fries as well). Soggy fries are one of the worst things in the world(too much?) but, luckily, you will find none of those at Scully’s! If you are on Sunset and need some food, or drink, stop into Scully’s for a great time!

I’ve heard good things about this place and have always passed by it and wanted to try, but sadly was pretty disappointed with my experience. Sat down and waited what felt like an eternity for our server to come. We quickly placed our order, which were two appetizers, and I noticed we placed them at the same time as the two tables directly in front of ours. Our server kept disappearing for long periods of time. Finally I noticed that both of the other tables received their food, which were full entrees, and ours still hadn’t come, and the waitress never came to give us an update. We finally got our appetizers — spinach & artichoke dip and sirloin tidbits — and they were«eh». There is a lot of dip BUT it comes with sooo little bread and chips to eat it with! The sirloin tips were just plain and ordinary. I think it’s overpriced. Just not worth it.

We have been coming here for almost a year. Great service and the food is excellent. They also have live music! I love it!
