Route 66 Vintage Iron

this is a great motorcycle museum/​shop. totally a motorcycle enthusiast destination. they carry a ton of stuff from helmets, shirts, patches and motorcycle care products. the museum is free and filled with amazing displays. a very impressive collection of evil knieval memorabilia. loved the Indian Larry custom sportster!

Entering through what looks like a just a motorcycle enthusiast gift/​clothing store, a surprise awaits you in the «free» museum located through the doorway to the right. This place is done right. The display designs are top-​notch and the variety of interesting artifacts, memorbilia and actual motorcycles housed here is pretty amazing. There’s a cool collection of vintage helmets and a large number of photos of early (and I mean EARLY) motorcycle racers, just to mention a couple of fun things to see. Although it is free, donations can be left in an old oil (I think) can near the entrance. Well worth dropping some Lincolns, Hamiltons or a Jackson in the can. And, the T-​Shirts in the store are really nice-​looking! Great Route 66 souvenirs.
